Dear South Florida Perinatal,
I’ve come here for a few visits already and have always had a good experience. The office staff is very nice and pretty helpful, although you can always here them chatting away about personal gossip… You’re the office where my doctor has been sending me to do ultrasounds, as well at the genetic sequential screening, for my pregnancy.
At 16 weeks, I’ve been here twice for ultrasounds and twice for blood work. I am usually in and out of your office pretty quick, which I appreciate, although today’s visit I waited 35 minutes to have blood drawn, and the nurse admitted she was catching up on paperwork, and even apologized for leaving me in the waiting room. That kind of irritated me because no one else was in the waiting room, so she could have caught up on her paperwork AFTER drawing my blood. Once I was in, I was out in 5 minutes– tops.
The ultrasound techs I have had, have been very helpful and nice, explaining things as they went along, allowing me to record the baby’s heartbeat on my phone and even providing me with a CD of the u/​s pictures.
If it wasn’t for my doctor’s office sending me here, I would have never known about you. I have to admit, I am switching doctors, so I doubt I will be back. But it was a decent experience. If there’s anything I can suggest you improve, it would be to ask the girls at the front desk not to talk so loud about their personal stuff — the whole office can hear it!

The receptionists at this office are very unhelpful and have deliberately misinformed me regarding their office policies. I scheduled two separate appointments to meet with the genetics counselor, and both times I came in on time, and was told the counselor «didn’t come to work that day.» Rather than having me rescheduled with the counselor, or getting a genetics counselor in that day, I was told to «waive my rights to genetic counseling» and that the waiver was for that appointment, but not all appointments in the sequential screen. I was later told that the waiver was for all three appointments, and there was nothing they could do but have me get another perscription from my doctor. I feel like I was mislead, and prodded through their appoingment like cattle. The manager I spoke to was very unprofessional and rude, and never offered so much as an apology for the receptionist’s conduct or the genetic counselor’s absence.
I would NOT reccomend going to this office.
