I think I’ve had appointments with almost everyone who works here! Dr. Chi was my ob for my twin pregnancy and she was awesome. If I ever have another baby, there’s no one I’d rather see. Jen (nurse practitioner? RN?) is wonderful, the girl at the front desk is a sweetheart (I wanna say Natalia but it’s been a year since my twins were born and I haven’t slept at all), all of the nurses are great, I even loved the ultrasound techs and the early ultrasounds are just plain awkward. It’s an all around wonderful practice. The ONLY thing that can be difficult is reaching someone over the phone because the practice is so big, but it was never particularly inconvenient. Did I say I love Dr. Chi yet? LOVE HER!

I was there today, my first time and last.
There’s a very low class chusmeria going on with the ladies that work around the office. It makes the office look unprofessional and loud, and I felt really uncomfortable going to a Gyno that allows that type of behavior during working hours.
The carpets are dirty and the building looks pretty run down. Also if you are examined there, you are going to freeze to death so make sure they put a heater on the room before you are examined.

I have been going to South Miami OB GYN and associates for close to three years. About to have my first baby. Dr. Chi is fantastic. She spends time with me, answers all my questions, returns all my calls, and is extremely caring. My husband and I are so confident with her care. Her nurse Sheila is so sweet, Katie is awesome, really everyone there is so kind. Natalie front desk is always smiling. Wait times are not bad and someone will always answer your call whether it’s triage or your own doctor. Ive gotten to know a lot of the nurses and would highly recommend this practice to anyone whether it’s for obstetrics or GYN related stuff!

They tried to charge me for items that were incorrect. They were happy to loose me as a patient over something that was ridiculous. Needless to say I am not paying for something that I should not have to and I plan to find another OBGYN. BTW they also charged my insurance as if an MD saw me and I never saw an MD! Worst customer service ever!

I had my first appointment today and it was great! The waiting room was comfortable and quiet, the administrative staff were very pleasant and helpful, and I was seen right on time. The nurse who took my blood pressure was also very friendly and laughed at my jokes, which I appreciated. The practitioner I saw was named Katie and she was VERY informative, proactive in sharing information without being pushy or condescending, super helpful and friendly, and just generally a professional young woman who took pride in being great at her job. I was in an out in less than a half hour, not including the 10 minutes to fill out new patient paperwork. Overall, a fantastic experience.

I was referred here 6 years ago when i realized that I was pregnant and had no OB/GYN. I have been with them ever since. The two doctors I see are Hirsch and Visozo, and they are the absolute greatest. I never had a problem getting an appointment, and their office is run like a well-oiled machine. They always made me feel comfortable. I always refer women to this office, and I love South Miami Hospital, which is where their office is located.

If you are looking for a great gyno — look no further. This is a great practice with MANY great and caring doctors to chose from — I have been a patient for over 10 years and drive all the way from Miami Beach because I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. In my ten years I have had the opportunity to be seen and operated by each of the doctors here. All are great and most of all caring!

I wish I had a good experience! It was the worse customer service ever!
I have nothing bad to say about the doctor. He was very professional and made me feel comfortable. But on the other hand, on the office side it is a disaster! they never called me back for a follow up regarding my pap exam. When I finally called, they said that they had my results there for couple of days !! and they would call me. same thing happend for the insurance information about IUD. The excuse they gave to me was «our phone was not working yesterday.» after that they gave me a price for the device. One week later they called me and gave me another price and told me that I got a wrong info on the first place. That seems to be very disorganized and they dont know what they are doing…

I have been a patient of theirs for three years now and it is by far the BEST gynecologist office I have been to!
They take their time with every patient. They take the time to explain everything to you. Some doctors do things very quickly and don’t take the time to explain everything to you.
I highly recommend visitng any of the doctors on their staff.
