After playing in the snow with our kids, we gave this place a shot. The Nachos, burgers and Pupusas were delicious! Our server was attentive. my family enjoyed everything and we will be back!

Found the best Fatburger inside Harrahs Casino. It is sparkling clean and open late. The onion rings were perfect and all the employees were friendly and helpful. They got me to try an egg on my Fatburger. It was awesome. I’ll be back for more

Best kept secret! They have Pupusa El Salvadorian style! Everything is super reasonably priced and great service. Food is awesome and never a wait! Only downside is that is closes early @8pm.

Saw all the great reviews on Unilocal.So we gave it a try. Everything said was true. The service was excellent, food was fresh and they always make sure your coffee is filled. Would come back here again when we visit Tahoe next time!!!

Service is superb. Food is delicious. This place is a Tahoe gem! I’ve had the burgers and their el Salvadorian food. The fries are on point! After I discovered this place I don’t eat anywhere else when I visit South Lake Tahoe!

Burgers are really good. Yes, it is next to an Econo Lodge. Yes, it is a Latin restaurant that sells burgers. Repurposed old diner that is not fancy at all but solid. We had Burgers, Fries and a Pupusa — Salvadorian corn part stuffed with cheese and beans or pork served with cabbage and salsa. $ 25 with beer. We will be back on our next trip to Tahoe.

Tried this place for breakfast after there was an hour wait at Red Hut. Glad we took the chance! The food was excellent. Biscuits and gravy– biscuits were soft and homemade, gravy was fresh made and full of sausage. Omelette was huge and hash browns were perfectly cooked. Even the sourdough toast was perfectly toasted and had real butter on the slices. We were allowed simple substitutions such as fresh fruit instead of hash browns and our coffee cups were never empty. The server was warm and attentive. Prices were really affordable and I was quite surprised by the total experience!

This place is so so. I was not impressed with food. Fries did not taste fresh. And service was not good. Server did not inform us there was an up charge for substituting food items, did not ask if we wanted any sauce, and did not bother refilling drinks. And no free drink refills for kids like in most other places. We are not coming back or recommending this place.

As a regular burger and fresh french fries cook at my home I get often disappointed by restaurant burgers and fries, but not at this place! All five of our family really enjoyed our burgers and fries. They were excellent. Too bad we are leaving town for our trip because this restaurant probably gives you great food at an low $. The décor is like a diner-​could be spruced up, but who cares if the food is great! I really liked my Blue Cheese and Bacon burger.

Absolutely loved the place! Freshly made great food, courteous staff and extremely reasonable pricing.
We got chicken dish, garlic shrimp and vegan burger, all of which were delicious. Free refills on soda/​coffee were the cherry on top…:)

I LOVE THIS PLACE! The burgers are freshly made and the fries are as well. Wow is it all delicious. The place gives great portions and the prices are fair. The décor is cute and everything was very clean. All the food we had was neatly made and yummy however I will say you should go for the burgers. They are outstanding while we weren’t too fond of the burritos. They can make amazing pupusa (if that’s how it’s spelled!!) but wow I’m coming back everyday we are here! I even had to grab some stuff to go! The sweet crew made us comfortable and we can’t wait to come back!

Don’t be deterred by the location in the Econo Lodge or the older décor — this is a 4 «star» restaurant.

Traveling in and found them on Unilocal,my B. F said it was the best burger he has ever had! Mucho Macho the #1 we both got the same burger and didn’t have to share a bite good thing:0), I wish this restaurant was close to our home we would definitely be regulars. Yum Yum.

Been to nearly every burger place in town but not satisfied, but when I was introduced to this joint it I seen a place up am New! So I tried it without judging it. «Don’t knock it til you try it» is one thing when I was told, that stuck. But the Big Tahoe Cheese Burger was clearly juicy and very delicious (9.5) the Salmon Burger (6.5) due to the lack of salmon you receive. The chili burger (7.75) very tasty an messy but lives up to the name.
Very clean, welcoming Staff, and business has been approved for my Top places to eat in Tahoe.

So happy Tahoe Burgers found a new home! Friendliest most accommodating staff. Exactly what we need this side of town. Burgers tasted freshly made, bun was toasted, and let me tell you the fresh cut fries absolutely made the meal! Cut and fried as you order them! Amazing! My new go to burger spot.

5 stars for my first visit! I ordered carne asada fries (essentially nachos built on fries instead of chips, for those of you not in the know!) for take-​out, a favorite of mine rarely seen outside of your standard 24-​hour taco shop.
The fries are clearly freshly cut and fried, and the included guacamole and pico de gallo are obviously fresh as well.
I have to say I also love the extra care taken to double-​layer my fries instead of just piling all the cheese and meat (of which there is plenty) on top.
Definitely the best carne asada fries I’ve ever had.
As a side note, I asked and they hand form the burgers they sell, another good sign.
Keep up the delicious work. I’ll be back
