Love Steamers. Always have. Been going there for well over a decade. Local spot local folks. Great tri-tip sandwiches and Fish tacos. Juicy burgers. Outdoor area is huge for big crowds. Decent beer selection

I was with my fiancée and kids having a dinner in Steamers. I was disguishted how level the quality standard there is. My fiancée found a bandage inside of her beef taco!!! She even bit it before she realized the situation… All of us four adults and two 7 years old twins had a beef tacos. And now we are worried about getting AIDS. Consumer Protection should be better in America. We was serve tacos in bad faith. Steamer’s tacos are dangerous. For your health stay away from Steamers Bar & Grill!!!

Disappointed… I am a recent local as of January ’15, and have been looking for cool spots that are not always $ 100’s on the lake — so to speak. Steamers has a cool vibe, food is perfectly fine based on expectations for this category, and they even have live music from time to time. So what’s the angst? Locals ‘games’; clickie/preferential mentality and treatment. I am a local now as stated, but have found if I don’t shave and wear my hoodie — for example, I get better results/service as there is an unspoken ‘different’ treatment for those deemed from out of town. Myself being from the SF Bay Area — where we embrace global travelers and all sorts/races/preferences/etc., have not really experienced this immaturity before and am justifiably put off by this. You have a business to run — foremost. Employees playing these types of games should not occur and impact the business/bottom line. Dressing down and not grooming should not be a requirement for good service. I hate to go there, but I almost understand what’s it’s like to be racially discriminated against — and its BS.

Limited menu and food just ok. They seem to make sure the locals get their food first and unapologetic about the wait to tourists. Don’t let the name fool ya, nothing on the menu is steamed. All the food was from frozen, nothing fresh here. Probably a good place for drinks though.

Love the potato skins! Fried chicken basket is really tasty. Honey dipped and crisp. The steamed clam are just as good as any of the higher end restaurants in town with a better price. Great selection of beers and cocktails.

Good cold beer on tap and lots of big TVs. Great for sports games. However, food is mediocre at best. Typical fried bland bar food. Go for the pitchers, friends, and sports games, not dinner.

This place spells T-R-O-U-B-L-E. Review for the nightlife/bar scene: Came here for a bachelorette party. Great people(bar-goers & staff) and cheap drinks! Pretty sure I had more fun at Steamers Bar & Grill than at Peak nightclub the following night. So much fun I woke up on the floor next to my bed missing a contact lens. :P
