Very disappointing experience. For one I was told the owner of the place is cooking the food. If it says on a big sign new jerseys best burgers know how to cook a burger. I ordered 2 medium burgers. My girl decided to eat her sawdust well done burger and I decided I couldn’t do it to myself as a burger lover. So my over well done burger got remade. They came back with a new burger. Well done again! Very disappointed. Then I looked at the fries they gave. My fries before were dark brown and crispy(overdone) then k got the next fries and they are actually good. Do not go here for a well cooked but a well done instead. Hire a chef please.

Very good burgers and they have a tv on the wall where they play movies or you can request something to be played its cool. Good drinks and management, we always are treated very well when we stop in. Also, happy hour is popular here with the locals.

Recently renovated with an updated menu. The food is amazing, especially the calamari. Good selection of beer in a cozy atmosphere, with attached bar and family friendly seating. Not to mention the music is classic rock and off the charts. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely dinner at this bar/restaurant. The bar looks small from the outside, but it’s actually spacious once you get inside, and very clean too. The food was amazing– the artichoke dip was super fresh and the beer-battered onion rings were the best we’d ever had. They even had lovely vegetarian options for burgers, which are often hard to come by in bars. The drinks were strong and tasty also the prices were reasonable. The bar manager, Ozzie?, took good care of us, checking up on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall great experience– would highly recommend.

Can’t comment to the sports/bar scene since we stopped in for an early bite on a quiet night. Great beer selection. The pulled pork cheese fries were awesome. The wings are classic and delicious, perfect to accompany your beer. We ordered the chipotle jack burger. Tasty burger, nice size, toasted bun, can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.

The interior is clean, and modernly appointed, with plenty of space between tables. The all metal chairs are functional, though less desirable for their comfort than what they lend to the décor, which is that of a more trendy, urban eatery/bar. Our party of six came for lunch and the waitress didn’t seem too knowledgeable about the menu, having to check on simple questions like, ‘is there bacon on that?’ She was friendly and courteous though. It took 20 minutes to receive our food, even though we were the ONLY patrons, and five out of six orders were burgers. That could be problematic for folks who have to get back to the office, but luckily we’re a couple minutes away. The food was good. The patty on my «Southwest Burger» was large, and arranged on a full brioche bun with a thick slice of tomato and leafy lettuce, accompanied by a large side of fries and a pickle. The burger also had guacamole which added a little something extra, but it was barely warm by the time it was served, though it was cooked correctly. The chef even came out to ask how our food was. I’d go back and try some other menu offerings in the future. Be advised, the prices here are on the high side($ 10 for a burger and fries).

My friends wanted to do dinner before they moved to Texas, a final farewell. She chose this restaurant/burger joint because it had more of a fun feel and had a bar so we could get a little loud and not bother/upset anyone. We were a party of 17. The waitress was terrible and took forever with everything. Long story short, we ordered skirt steak… 15 min later«we just ran out» I chose to have a burger with sweet potato fries… 15 min later«we ran out of sweet potato» now I’m slightly annoyed. Finally we put that aside and continued to have a good time. We decided dessert would really hit the spot. We asked for a menu to see what desserts they have and the lady gave us the menu and walked away. THEMENUSHEGAVEUSDIDNOTGAVEDESSERTS! I called her over and asked«where are your desserts? Her response was«the dessert lady is on vacation». I will never come back to eat at this place! I’m surprised it’s still in business. How do you not have all these foods you offer on your menu on a Saturday night? Let’s not forget to mention they had their drink specials made on notebook paper.

Came in Saturday(17 October) afternoon around 5pm after a long day of doing errands and was craving for a good burger. My friends and I decided to give it a shot considering it said it was rated well on Unilocal. We arrived and the place had 2 other tables and a couple of patrons at the bar. The host said we could sit anywhere we wanted so we sat at one of the middle tables but when we sat we noticed the table was not clean so we ask that they clean it but it was just easy to just move to the next table… no big deal but if your restaurant isn’t busy. that table should have been cleaned. Anyway we were greeted by the server/bartender to take our order. ok .I understand your not busy so it’s fine to have your bartender take your order. but I wish she were more pleasant and have more personality. she literally just took an order and left. She could have been more engaging and asked if we had been here before or suggest the things. etc… Anyway the food came 30 minutes later for 2 burgers which I think is a bit long considering there were only 2 other tables and the one table was leaving already when we got our food. The burgers were good and I would try the others but customer service is key here to keep your customers coming back. There is a lack of good service and engagement with the customers from there servers and the host. We paid and left and not a thank you was given. In order to make a good impression to customers… you have to have your staff be a bit more attentive. I hope this place survives because it would be a nice neighborhood bar to go to.

September 28th. Football Sunday. This was a tough one to rate. Came here on a Sunday to watch some Football .I definitely like this place. It’s comparable to that hmmm«Great looks but no personality». What do I mean? Well from the outside this place looks great. The sign that says Brooklyn Grill is clever. The inside even looks good. The place is clean, great décor, and just pretty unique all around. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this place. You gota have a fine eye to catch the subtle art all around.(Enjoy the pics) Service was great but the place was empty. So no Minus-Plus there So what do I mean by no Personality ? Well the Food was from Decent to Good. The Calamari was pretty much gross. I have no idea what they were trying to do with it. The Chicken Quesadilla was okay… The sandwiches were pretty decent(I would order again), the Turkey melt was the best thing I had here. Now on to the part that truly was disappointing… The Dessert ! Look at it… It’s like they took a Sara lee ready made pie from the freezer, put a few designs with syrup around it and said viola! the worst part was because its frozen it wasn’t even cut straight. The Pie just consists of whiped crème and chocolate cool whip lol. That does not fly. Now I truly mean this, I will come back to this place cause I love the vibe inside and it’s cool, it stands out, and aesthically very nice. Just please do something about that Dessert.

Went here on Saturday October 3 only because Unilocal had a decent rating. As soon as we walked in the host had a face, like he had no desire to be there. The waitress was very Un-Attentive. She forgot to bring the kids juice out and the drinks took forever to be bought out. Only after waiving down another waitress were we able to get the drinks. As a courtesy they comped 1-drink. Food was pretty good; but I’d definitely pass this place up for better service at another restaurant.

Well. we did love this place. The last time went to Brooklyn grill the beer was flat and my fiancees salmon was EXTREMELY under cooked. They also must have cooked it right in the same spot as my burger without cleaning the stove/pan because it tasted totally burnt. The time before that i asked for a medium rare burger… the burger came back burnt on the outside and totally raw on the inside. We may give it another shot, probably not, but we are totally disappointed. I wonder if they got a new chef because the food used to be out of this world.

First time here and I loved it! Really impressed of the modern décor. The chalkboard wall got my attention quick. What a great way to display the specials of the day and cute drawings too! Everything on the menu sounds really appetizing and was hard to choose on what to try. My husband and I both decided on eggplant and zucchini fries for the appetizer. Nice and crispy and it went well with the blue moon beer we both were drinking. I ordered from the specials on the board, fish in a bun. came with zucchini, red beets, lettuce and tarter sauce. Nice big really really crispy outside and flaky inside filet of fish. My husband tried the grilled salmon burger and was pleased with his choice also. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

Place right on route 46. Very nice atmosphere to come with group of people. They just added a full bar. Place is very clean and good décor! Food is really good, especially their burger and the pull pork sandwich is the best!!! They offer delivery option but so far I tried like 4 times and they always tell me on the phone the delivery guy already left so I’m starting to think is just False advertisement!!! But anyways I live close by so I don’t mind to drive and pick up my food if I don’t wanna dine inside! Overall, I would recommend this place!

Ambiance/Décor/Atmosphere: Relatively attractive outside with a few detracting advertising tactics in the form of blue banners waving in the wind called appetizers and kids’ menu, but inside is pretty trendy and casual strewn with NYC(Brooklyn) accents. It’s almost like a gastropub in a sense the way the tables and chairs appear. Very interesting look. But, not a fan of the neon gas lights inside. This place is better than that. Noise/sound level: When I frequented this place it just opened so there were not many patrons inside yet. The place is «open»(read wide and tall) so conversation was a bit echoy, however it wasn’t annoying to the point where it ruined the experience. Menu: The menu was different when it opened, which makes me feel good knowing the establishment is updating and attempting to follow trends in order to stay competitive. But, then and now it is on the smaller side and on point offering particular selections of meat, pasta, fish, and sandwich dishes. The size is pretty effective and not confusing. Service: Very attentive, warm, and friendly. Ticket times were normal for food cooked fresh to order. I believe we were interacting with an owner and he was very accommodating and informative about the different breads and how we can get our food. Food: I had the Brooklyn burger and it was great. The meat was cooked to temp and it was sloppy with juicy pulled pork and coleslaw. First time I had a burger like that and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Subsequent visits I returned for burgers which always cooked to temp accurately, but never had a real meal since the update. Bar: BYOB. Price: For the portion size the price is not out of the ordinary, but if you eat a lot the bill might be higher than expected. Overall: Think gastropub without the alcohol unfortunately, but the diner is next door if you want to get drunk. However, the food at Brooklyn Grill is better than the diner’s and I believe you will be happier too. I’ll definitely return to try their updated fare.

I came here for lunch and it was pretty slow inside. I had my option of the bar or tables and i choose the tables since it was my lunch break and i didnt want to be tempted by taps. The waitress was very nice and the person who sat me was also polite. I ordered their Cattle Pulled Pork, which was pretty good, It really hit the spot for a lunch fix. The sandwich had the right amount of pork and sauce, and had a little slaw on top. As for the atmosphere, It was a pretty cool place. They bar was lit with some green neon, and i would imagine it to be pretty chill at night. If i was closer i would definatly check this place out, it seems like a place i would hang out at for food and drinks.
