It was mediocre food with mediocre service, which would have been fine for a quarter of the price. It was extremely expensive. The steak I ordered was not cooked how I asked and half of it was barely chewable. The side of veggies was clearly from a frozen bag because they did not heat them all the way. The waitress added gratuity to our check even though there were only four of us, and their menu states they will add it if there is 6 of more in the party. Pretty disappointing for a bill almost $ 200.

We had a fine young gentleman at the bar serve us beverages, his name was Craig. He had decently sized hips and a wide smile. Watching him grip the individual beer taps was simply mesmerizing, he took such care in each pull I could not look away! I will always come back to Tuckaway’s with hopes that one day Craig will come in contact with my alcohol once more.

Typical overpriced tavern in a hotel food. It’s nice… it’s quaint… it’s dark… drinks were good, but my burger was very over cooked and dry. AND(I know English majors… don’t start a sentence with and)…however, I wanted to add that my bill was $ 27. I had one drink and a burger!!! $ 27 for that? Again, typical over priced hotel.

Long wait, poor service. I don’t normally complain but come on; finding out 30 minutes later the soup you ordered is not available and the substitute soup comes out cold? Having to ask for utensils and water which I still haven’t seen! And now my Cobb salad arrived with no dressing. The manager isn’t charging us and we left.

Really surprised by the food. I had pretty low expectations for a hotel restaurant, but glad I tried it out. I got the green mountain melt sandwich on gluten free bread. The ham was really flavorful, the apples were sauteed, and the cheddar didn’t take over the show. The ingredients were fresh and local, which made a big difference. The side of fries were typical restaurant fries, nothing special.

Moderately good restaurant with limited options. The house salad would be much better if made fresh. And how about homemade salad dressing rather than store-bought? Friendly service, nice sized portions… Add about three more entrees and make your salads fresh, you’ll get more stars!
