Disorganized, poorly stocked store staffed by unknowledgeable and largely uncaring employees. Avoid this store and go to LL Bean where the employees are energized, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Dark, disorganized, soulless. I eventually found the hats I was looking for — I had checked first online and knew they were in stock — after I hunted down an employee in the virtually empty store. She had no idea where they were supposed to be displayed. Eventually she went to the back, found an open box filled with random hats, plopped it on the floor at my feet, and returned to the registers. I imagine the random hat box will sit there for a while because everyone else knows not to bother coming here.

I enjoyed visiting this store. I am neither super outdoorsy or very athletically inclined, but I was fascinated by all of the products, clothing, equipment they have. I was equally enthralled by the amazing mountain biking video they were showing.
My boyfriend and his best friend needed (aka wanted) some new biking gear, so we went here. My boyfriend is just getting into biking and needed a camelback or something of the sort. The salesman that he spoke to literally spent almost 30 minutes going over all the pros and cons of every pack my boyfriend was considering.
The only reason I did not give 5 stars was that they could not accomodate my boyfriends’ request for biking shoes in a size 13 wide.. .but then again, not many stores can.
