I have ordered from Dankin Farms on line and was excited to visit their stores. I visited both stores and one thing was clearly evident at both locations… no customer service. We were never greeted, never helped and never even talked to at both locations. It was disappointing that we expressly made it a point to visit the stores after our wonderful online experience only to find out that the employees could care less that a customer is in the store.

Free samples galore! Their unsweetened jellies are amazing and naturally sweet. Their smoked meats are very flavorful with hints of detectable, delectable spices. I would especially recommend their pork sticks and their maple mustard.

I absolutely love the products. However I called to place an order because the website kept timing out. The gentleman who answered the phone couldn’t spell and I had to repeat myself every word. You shouldn’t have someone answer the phone that can’t soel. Boulevard should be pretty easy. It was painful. While I was on lithe phone trying to place an order for just three items I asked if he had slab bacon in a smaller package than 4 lbs. he said can you give me a product number. He should be able to look that up. I told him to cancel the order. I’d get something comparable at another purveyor. Don’t know that I will order again.

Love me some Dakin like I love me some Cabot! What a great little store. I’m vegetarian but I get the Dakin smoked bacon ends for my son for $ 4.95/lb. Best bacon ever and best deal for the best bacon in the world. Love this place! And yes they have samples!
Dakin == Cabot == Amazing Vermont Food.

Abandon all else, Dakin is your 1 stop shop for all edibles Vermont! On our way home from a wedding, we stopped in for our normal cooler full of VT staples.
Great selection of cheeses, meats, syrups, spreads, preserves and other tasty treats. Also, you can sample just about everything they sell.
So, if you already have your regular VT stop, try Dakin instead, you will be pleasantly surprised.

I do and I sure as heck hope that you do too because that’s what you’ll find here at this branch of Dakin Farms.
I always get a bar of their smoked cheddar cheese and roll of beef summer sausage– it’s some really delicious stuff. My friend enjoys the maple syrup and a bar of their sharp vermont cheddar.
The staff here are really friendly people, the place is nicely decorated and the cheese is just delicious.

I like this place.
Find a variety of summer sausages, cheeses, honey, butter, and jam in every flavor and color of the rainbow here. I walked out with a jar of strawberry rhubarb jam and a tummy full of cinnamon butter and sausage samples.
Plentiful selection, friendly staff.
