These are my favorite bagels. They make the egg(they aren’t sitting around) for each sandwich. They have veggie sausage and many good varieties. My personal favorite is the Vermont country. Every time I’m in the Burlington area this is a must. Also they are very efficient so don’t be daunted by a long line and do not lose your receipt! It’s needed to get you bagels!

I kept hearing about this place, so I had to go in. I walked in on a Saturday morning around 8AM– there was no line. I stared at the bagels and then decided on my standard one; sesame seed toasted with cream cheese and lox. It was ready pretty quickly which I liked. My partner ordered two bagels with cream cheese and those took forever! Okay, fine, it didn’t take forever but it took a while and the old people staring at my colorful outfit made the wait seem all that much longer… Anyways, it is a pretty roomy place. There is a wide selection of bagels and they were really tasty. I liked the proportion of cream cheese to bagel, though the lox could have been better laid out so that it was all over the bagel and not just stacked towards the middle. Definitely worth a stop in. Can’t wait to go in and order a full sandwich!

Expensive average bagels. They have some good choices for types of bagels and cream cheeses, but good god im surprised i dont see more people commenting about how excessive and messy the amount of cream cheese they give you is. I literally ALWAYS squeeze out about half the cream cheese and it goes to waste and its usually all over the outside of the bagel and unevenly spread too and honestly EVERY person ive talked to about it feels the same way. Settle down with the cream cheese. That kind of attention to quality really irritates me as ive worked in sandwich shops before and would pride myself on my cleanly presented food with well spread out ingredients. It REALLY isnt hard to spread ingredients out no matter what it is, nobody wants a mouth full of cream cheese one bite only to be followed by a bite full of mostly bread. As well as nobody wants a mouthful of jalapeños in one bite followed by a bunch of pickles the next, it is so simple and takes a minuscule amount of time to put in the care to make a perfect meal. Teach your staff better.

The bagels are delicious and they have a huge variety of bagel/cream cheese options. The everything bagel with veggie cream cheese is a personal fav. I’m taking away two stars because there is never any parking. The lot is too small to accommodate the breakfast rush. It’s also very loud! If you want a peaceful morning this is not the place for you.

Yummy yummy yummy! Came here this morning to grab some bagels and I’m so happy I did! I got the cheddar dill bagel with spicy Mexican cream cheese and my husband got the Asiago bagel with spinach and artichoke cream cheese. He ate his so fast that I can’t rate his but in his exact words–«mmmmmm!!». I have to say that I completely agree. BBB has got their bagel game down perfectly! The consistency of my bagel was great– soft, chewy(but not overly), and toasted juuuust right. I was really impressed. Also, my cream cheese was just the right amount of spicy. I definitely needed a drink of water afterwards but I didn’t feel like my mouth was on fire. This feels like more of a west coast bagel place since it has way more funky choices for bagels and cream cheese flavors than the norm but it’s done really well. I will definitely be back!

Friendly staff, quick service and amazing food! Everything you want in a breakfast /lunch stop. I nearly always get the lake champlain(bagel & lox) but have ventured out to try a few other sandwiches lately, they are equally as amazing and unique. Very savory flavorful sandwiches and a broad flavor combination of bagels and cream cheese. Have yet to try the bakery and breakfast side of things. Highly recommended to buy there coffee mug for 12 dollars and get free coffee every Tuesday which has a variety but especially love speeder and Earles roast.

I used to eat here somewhat frequently as a kid, but probably haven’t been back in 15 years. It doesn’t seem to have changed much, which is good in this case. I stopped in for lunch on a busy Monday and was pleasantly reminded that I should get to bagel spots other than Bagel Market when I’m home. I ordered a harvest sandwich(turkey, spinach, cheddar, apples, cranberry mayo) on a cranberry-granola bagel. The combo worked. The bagel had a nice level of resistance on the outside and a soft, slightly chewy inside. The sandwich was simple, but filling and you could always switch to a more savory bagel if the sweetness from the apples/cranberry mayo is too much to combine with a cranberry bagel. It was less than $ 7. I’ll go back next time I’m on Shelburne Rd and want a bagel.

Bagels bagels bagels! I used to frequent this place a couple years back and had the opportunity to stop in again yesterday morning. The bagel inventory was well stocked(nothing worse the selecting your flavor to find they are out), and the line was surprisingly short. In times past(the lunch hour) it’s been a bit of a mad house trying to get a bagel sandwich or place an order. They always have 3 or 4 staff running the bagel counter though and the service can be a little hit or miss. I’ve had stellar service and other times not so much. The bagels themselves are pretty big — and if you order with cream cheese or any sandwich fillings, they definitely load it up(which sometimes results in difficulty eating which depending on who’s eating can be a good or bad thing). They also have a small section for day old items at a significantly reduced price, a cooler with salads, pastas, fruits, yogurt, chips, drinks and pastries– anything to complete your meal. If you haven’t had the chance to try them out, grab a bagel, one of their homemade pastries, and a drink and and enjoy in their open café space! My only suggestion: why isn’t there a Montréal spice flavor?

I love this place. Certainly my favorite place in town for bagels. The consistency of the bagels is chewy and substantial. Great taste. Good variety of flavor. Expect to wait in line on the weekends as seating is limited and demand is high. Lunch is also busy.

I went to get a bagel to go and was happy about all the crème cheese flavors and bagel varieties, but when I got home, I opened the package and found that they hadn’t given me my crème cheese, just a toasted bagel. Not impressed, but I did’t feel like going all the way back there. So just check to make sure you get what you want.

I’ve been going to the BBB regularly for almost a decade now. It’s one of my favorite places to grab a quick bite. Traditionally the value has been great as their prices have historically been lower than the competition, without sacrificing quality. I still think that’s their intent, but a recent price increase puts them more in line with the competition. The staff is super friendly and cares about the quality of the food they prepare. There are a few exceptions I’ve seen over time, but they never seem to stay for long. I particularly like how they cook items like the eggs and bacon that go on your breakfast sandwich to order. You can taste the difference. I also saw them introduce bakery items like cookies, brownies, muffins, etc. WOW. Not only were they good day one, but they keep improving them. Cream cheese frosting that tastes like cream cheese. Peanut butter frosting that tastes like peanut butter. Strawberry muffins with giant chunks of sweet fruit. I’ve seen them introduce a lot of other products too, all one at a time. Salads, paninis, soup, espresso drinks, etc. Considering the slow deliberate way they release new items, it’s safe to guess they’re carefully developing the product first before putting it out there. Overall, you can tell that the owners take great pride in continuous improvement while still keeping prices affordable. Maybe that’s why there’s always a line out the door on the weekends.

We stopped in for a quick breakfast and were very impressed not only with the selection but the food itself. Great bagels, great cream cheeses. Can’t wait to go back for more. The staff was friendly and fast even though the line was out the door.

My partner and I cannot pass up a good bagel. Driving home from a weekend trip hiking, we were excited to see a bagel place and had to stop in. It was pretty busy but the line went fast. Good selection of bagels, and really nice selection of bagel sandwiches. He got lox on a whole wheat and I was adventurous and went with one that had cheese, bacon, turkey and apples(wow!) on a rye. We also got six bagels to take home and maple walnut spread. The sandwiches were more than we’d normally pay. I thought mine was good but nothing special. He liked his. The bagels we got to go were a bit stale(we tried them within an hour). The spread was yummy. We also got an iced hazelnut with soy milk that was delicious. Over twenty-five dollars though which is expensive for the quality and quantity. Nice to try, but I wouldn’t make a special detour to try them again if in the area.

We went here two mornings in a row for breakfast, and there is a reason, and judging by the constant queue out the door and stream of people going in and out, it was clear to us that this was one of the locals’ favorites: — Lake Champlain sandwich: D ordered this on a sesame seed bagel the first time, then on a sunflower seed bagel on the second visit(pictured), and it was apparently very, very good! — The Denver breakfast roll: I had this on everything bagel the first time, then switched to toasted bread the second time, as I found the bagel hard to chew, which is also why I’m not crazy about bagels in general. Anyway, this was awesome both times, especially good the second time obviously. Cooked freshly with good ingredients, and at $ 4.50, I think we can all agree that it’s a great value! I enjoyed seeing what the locals were wearing and all those people getting a bag of a dozen day-old bagels discounted to $ 3 or something. Plenty of seating and and parking, this was one of the best finds in Burlington.

Went in today for lunch. Staff was friendly as usual during my visits. Bagels were flavorful and had plenty of cream cheese. They got us through the line quick. My fiancé who previously didn’t care for BBB said today everything was very good.

One of my favorite spots in Burlington(well, South Burlington). It’s a little far away from downtown Burlington. It’s located on Shelburne Road, close to the shopping plaza with Lowe’s Hardware and Hannaford. The quality of the bagels here are great though they won’t compare to those in NYC. When you come here, you need to get a bagel sandwich. My favorites are the breakfast bagels(around 3 – 4 dollars depending on what you get) and Reuben(5.99). Compared to those ridiculously overpriced joints in downtown Burlington, this place is definitely well priced and the cost: quality ratio is excellent. I do not recall exactly what the app is called but it’s something along the lines of «college deals.» If you have this app, you get two sandwiches for the price of one. Plenty of parking. Friendly service. The line can be sometimes long but they move very quickly as there are multiple girls working behind the counter. They take AMEX too.
