Best pizza around! Their meals are great too! Chicken franchese is amazing and their cheesesteaks are better than most places in philly! Lisas is a staple at least once a week!

Our first time there and it was delicious! We were walking around by the water and decided to check this place out. I really thought it was just going to be okay but I was wrong. Really good pizza and the best garlic knots I ever had! The kids loved it. Wish this place was closer to where we live. I would travel the ½ hr to get it again though.

The food is so-so and nothing special, seriously. The owner on the other hand has a wonderfully explosive temperament– if you are a sadist and enjoy that sort of thing. Last year, I had personally witnessed him berate a teen employee in front of his customers because the kid misunderstood his boss’s instructions. It was quite a sight and honestly, I felt like leaving. I felt so bad for this kid! Then, the other night, my wife picked up a couple of pies and a sandwich. She had a coupon that had very recently expired. She explained this when she called in the order. The owner told her that since the coupon had expired last week, he would give her 2 pies for $ 21.99 instead of the coupon price of $ 19.99. She said«Ok, whatever» and agreed. She picked up the order and he told her it was $ 32.05 with tax. When she came home, we noticed that the receipt was not in the bag. I checked my credit card statement a few days later on line and noticed that the establishment added a $ 7.00 tip for this pick up order. I called Joe(the owner) and asked for an explanation. He gave me «It was an honest mistake» excuse. I told him ok and asked him to refund the $ 7.00. Then I asked why he didn’t give my wife a receipt. His reply was that they go through 2 — 3 rolls of receipt tape every day and at the end of the month it adds up and gets expensive. So, he told me that receipts are not supplied to customers UNLESSTHECUSTOMERASKS! I called my credit card and disputed the $ 7.00 tip and my account was credited immediately. I have not exaggerated any of this. It’s precisely the way it happened.

The food quality & portion size was good. I had the eggplant and it was a generous size. The sauce was flavorful and the house dressing for the salad was tasty. The service however was average at best and this was no fault of the waitress who was very good. Note to owner, one waitress for six tables on a Friday night is not adequate. What probably should have been a 45 – 50 minute visit was about an hour and 20. All things considered, better than average but might do pickup next time.

Anyone that is over when we order pizza agrees that it’s amazing. My husband loves the chicken Parmesan and I’m a fan of the broccoli rabe with sausage. The salads are consistently good. Unless you get the nice girl on the phone, prepare to be a little taken aback by the attitudes of the guys behind the counter. But I have enough friends, I don’t need to be friends with the pizza guy. I just want great pizza… And that’s just what I get!

Having tried so many other Pizzerias we have not been able to find anyone with the same consistent quality and taste week after week and year after year. Their pizzas will exceed your expectations. We have never had a bad meal or pizza there anytime we’ve gone.

I just moved to the area and was recommended Lisa’s. Let me start by saying I was really disappointed. The Chicken Fingers was sliced up cutlet and chewy. My boyfriends Meatball Parm Sub was all Parm no meat. I had the Chicken Parm dinner which was ok. The delivery guy was at least nice. Don’t think we will order from there again

Excellent place to eat! The best pizza around that area. I get delivery at least 1 time a week and the pizza comes hot like it just came out of the oven. Thumbs up AA+++

Growing up, I didn’t order dominos or papa johns or those pizza chains. We had Lisa’s because of their 10 dollar pizza special Monday nights and their location in the harbor, and to me their slices scream nostalgia. Their pizza isn’t the best by any means, but it hits the spot every time. However the pies coming out are very hit or miss, sometimes I get a pie that is perfectly crispy and other times I get a pie where it could’ve stayed in the oven a few more minutes and isn’t brown enough. Their dinners are very good too, solid pizza shop not bad by any means

Live .4 miles away and it takes them 1:30 to deliver a pizza. The customer service is horrible. Everytime they answer no one cares about the customer and they are absolutely fresh. I do hope they fix their issues because they have excellent food. Customer service is disgusting.

I use to order from here all the time but I think svc has declined. I now call attillios in Matawan for the suber sized slices and pies like at the shore

My friend asked for two slices and was given one slice that was cut in half. Ridiculous. $ 2 each?! Good job ripping people off. Good sauce but way too doughy. I used to really like this place. But after that I will not be going there again.

The pizza is always good when we come here. We got sandwiches the other day, and they weren’t bad. The wrap came with fries(which I didn’t want and wasn’t asked about). Their small sandwich is a footlong, so if you want an actual small sandwich, be prepared to split it. Whoever was on the slicer that day was slicing the meat and cheese way too thick, but that may have been a fluke. We also waited 20 minutes for a wrap and a sub, which is kind of excessive when there are 8 people in the kitchen and 3 customers waiting at tables for eat-in.

Their chicken cesar salad $ 8.95 is OUT of this world. Their penne vodka is soooooooooooo good, the sauce is unbelievable. This place is across from a naked gogo bar right on route 35 in LAURENCEHARBOR/cliffwood beach/old bridge.

Excellent pizza and meatballs! I stopped by this place while driving through New Jersey from Portland Maine, with my well behaved kids lol, and this was the best italian food I had the whole trip. Great pizzas sauce and excellent meatballs. I wish there was real Italian people in Nogales so I could get authentic pizza here but at least I got a chance to get this in NJ. Wonderful!

I’m really surprised that there is only one review for this place because when I came here the other night, it was a full house! This place is definitely a diamond in the rough; a small, casual restaurant in the back with a take-out pizza place in the front. The food is great though and the service is so friendly, as soon as you come in they know you and it’s like you’re family :) Came with my mom & uncle and we sat down in the back restaurant. Surprisingly, the menu selection is quite large. They offer several different types of pasta, which I really appreciated, along with veal, seafood and baked dishes as well. All of the food was great from the simple bruschetta starter to the pasta dishes and desserts. I got the penne vodka and it was sooo yummy. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was very flavorful, especially with the addition of the nice big pieces of chicken. The portions are also HUGE, I had to take half of my dish home and just ate the rest of my leftovers for breakfast this morning. Delicious! The desserts aren’t homemade but they’ll still satisfy a sweet-tooth and the chocolate cheesecake is SO rich, you’ll definitely have to break your diet when you come here. I look forward to coming back the next time I’m in town!
