I’m a big fan of subway. But this one is terrible. i was terribly disappointed bt the volume of greens that the girl fills my sandwich. I don’t know if its discrimination or just its their way of doing, I once felt terrible to ask for more veggies. I decided to not go there anymore. I will try to locate another subway nearby. This is the worst Subway I have ever seen.

It’s a Subway. You know what you’re getting going in. However, my last trip here changed my opinion of Subway. I usually go to Anna’s, Blue Shirt, Diesel, or Mr. Crêpe for a quick lunch(or dinner), but it had been a while since I came here and decided to give my regulars a break. I went for my usual — sweet onion chicken teriyaki on honey oat bread. The bread was like eating straw and the sauce didn’t have much flavor. Yes, it’s a healthier alternative to McDonald’s, but I’ll pay a little more for much better quality at my regulars.

Some people choose an apartment location based on access to transportation, parking accessibility, or proximity to a downtown area. I choose my apartment based on proximity to Subway as in the restaurant not the transportation. I mean how else am I suppose to get my daily source of vegetables? Just when I thought Subway couldn’t wow me any more, they come up with this Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. The commercials and advertising say it’s low fat but I just don’t think it is possible. I feel like I should investigate similar to the Seinfeld Episode when they question whether a nonfat frozen yogurt is really nonfat when it tastes too good to be nonfat frozen yogurt. Look, I know what most will think; I’m going a little overboard about a Subway sandwich as it’s not some gourmet sandwich like the pricey Domino’s Buffalo Chicken Sandwich offered a few walking steps away. For the inexpensive Buffalo Chicken Sandwich at Subway, you can walk in with a penny jar, where Domino’s you better not go in without an American Express Card. I really like Subway’s sandwich for its simplicity, taste, price, and as a great alternative to greasy fast food. Random Notes: The four star rating is only in comparison to other fast foods. Also, the service is particularly good here, and the staff loves the owners(invited the staff over for Thanksgiving), which is the type of place I like to support with my business.

If you’ve got the balls to post giant delicious pictures of sandwiches stacked high with deli meats… have the balls to make your sandwiches look like the pictures. i mean, the contradiction is astounding. Picture: bread, meat stacked like 2 – 3 inches high, veggies, bread… Reality: bread, thin line of meat 1 – 2 slices thick, sparse veggies, bread… Subway — i know you’re trying with this 5 dollar footlong promotion, but COMEONNOW… your portions have earned you a GIANTFAIL! Why would anyone go to Subway in Davis Square, when you have such other more satisfying, tantalizing sandwich options like Deli-icous, Mike’s, and Diesel…

I must frequent this subway once every weekend. I am quite picky about how I like a subway sandwich and everytime I go here its always the same! They have figured out how to make the perfect vegetable, meat, bread ratio. None of the loaves of bread are ever old and hard or old and chewy. It really looks like the people who own this franchise really take care of the place. It’s alway realively clean and the bathroom isn’t a horror movie. It’s hard to find consistency with fast food restuarants but I feel this place does a great job. Keep up the good work!
