The food here is delicious. However, I don’t think they have ever correctly filled an order of mine. I ordered the greco sub which comes with chicken, feta, tomatoes and Greek dressing. I asked for dressing on the side and for them to ADD onions and pickles. So naturally they took away the feta and the tomatoes and only added onions. Like, wtf, guys? I try to be as clear as possible when I place my order and it’s never EVER been right. Once, I asked for lite dressing on my Caesar wrap(because they DRENCH everything in dressing) and I received light Italian dressing in addition to my wrap being covered in so much dressing, it was virtually unrecognizable. I actually laughed at that one. It’s very frustrating. The food is good but I don’t receive what I order, so I will most likely not be ordering from this place again. I work in the area and don’t have time to call them and a ask them to fix my order. I’m usually very forgiving, as I have been in the restaurant business. It might seem like small mistakes but this is WHATYOUGUYSDO. I know I probably sound like a b****. Well, this b**** pays for her food like everyone else and expects it to be what she ordered.

Got the steak bomb today. It was what it should be. It was satisfying. Was a large sub but finished it. It was 9 bucks. I was happy with it.

Should be less than one star(or less than zero) I like my steak tips cooked rear. Asked the owner twice if he could do it that way. Didn’t recommend it but told him it’s the only way I can eat it! Anyway I come back 10 minutes later & he shows it to me all cut up like the dog food I feed my friends pitbull. This place should be shut down. Almost $ 4 for a slice of crap! It makes me ashamed to be from daville. Then I realized hipsters have taken over Davis sq so they don’t know good food! Guess I’ll have to go to papas in maldunn or kelley sq pub in eastie(that’s east Boston for your toonies) for good steak tips! Davis sq pizza should just close its door!!!

If you order takeout online, don’t even bother showing up until 20 minutes later than the time you’re given. I’m sick of getting here on time just to find out that they haven’t started making my pizza yet. They prep the pizzas right in front of you so you know what’s going on. But they tell you it’s just going to be 5 more minutes, which is an obvious lie. The worst is when you sit there waiting forever and then you get it and it’s overdone. What?

One Friday evening I and 2 of my roommates badly wanted Pizza and badly got disappointed with the Pizza we had received. It did not take them that long to deliver their«product». But upon tasting it we kept gathering for a long time what is actually on top of it… Nd how such a good crust could be ruined. Giving it 2 stars only because my roommates liked the crust so much that ate all of it around the filling. I think the place has potential. Please, work on the ingredients you add to your good quality crust.

I have to admit that over the last few years living in this area, I can always rely on Davis Square Pizza & Subs. I phrase it that way because I guess I really didn’t anticipate that this would become my go-to delivery place. I personally wouldn’t order their pizza, but I always find myself craving their Chicken Kebob/Greek Salads. When I’m really unsure of what to eat for dinner, and I’m feeling a bit too lazy to cook, this is my go-to place and my most common order. It is always, always good, they are heavy handed with the feta, and they give you a piece of pita bread along with every salad. What more can you ask for? I also really loved one of their calzones which was filled with buffalo chicken and blue cheese. Awesome! And personally, I am a big fan of their fries which are hand-cut and have the skin on them. My boyfriend doesn’t like them, he says they are always soggy… To each his own. Delivery has always been rapid as well– 20 – 25 mins every time! I do have one pet peeve about this place. They charge an additional fee if you want bacon on a «Club» Sandwich. A club sandwich *has* bacon on it, otherwise it’s not a club sandwich! That is kind of like saying that you’re going to charge extra for sauce on your lasagna… Change the name of your«club» sandwiches sans bacon, or add the friggen bacon and change the price.

Pizza is ok. But the service is horrible. They always say«20 minutes» for take out but rarely have they EVER been ready in time. The guys there are unapologetic and don’t seem to care about customer service. Gave them multiple chances to redeem themselves but I’m done now. Will be going elsewhere.

We got a BBQ chicken pizza and a pepperoni pizza. The BBQ chicken was better, in my opinion, but both were very good. It wasn’t earth-shatteringly great, but I’d definitely order from here again.

My business recently had an all-staff meeting and the owner sprung for dinner & drinks. The food came from Davis Square Pizza & I was impressed! The pizza was super fresh & delivered right on time, per our advanced phone order. Several of us commented on how good the pizza was, & this being my 1st time eating from this establishment, I will definitely be going back!

So good! We were so pleased with the service and the food! The gentleman that delivered our pizza was so kind he came all the way back to us when we had not gotten the crushed red peppers… now THAT is true service!

Dear Davis Pizza, Please don’t forget to smile. I understand that today was the St Patricks day parade and that you probably had a slew of drunk folks streaming into your establishment, but hey. They are providing you with business, right? Paying customers? As for myself, I was just looking for a slice of pizza on the way home from work. The pizza was adequate, but your ability to look inconvenienced by my presence was above average. Everyone that walks into your establishment wants to fund your business… Your ability to host them only encourages them to come back. So, smile, it goes a long way.

I have a monthly budget set aside for Davis Square Pizza, that’s how often I order from here. Honestly the 1 star ratings must’ve come on the darkest of days because I have never had a problem here, neither with the quality of food or service. I tried getting a thin crust buffalo chicken pizza, and instead of saying yes and sending me crap, they said the sauce would overflow and to try a different topping. Thin crust pepperoni all day. This is my first Unilocal review, couldn’t believe there was even a little hatorade spilling on these guys. Great food, great people, much love. — 5 appleton boys

The pizza was horrible, and the customer service was even worse. The people who work there(at least the day I dealt with them) were rude jerks. But seriously, I took the pizza home, and it was so bad it was almost hilarious. I mean, a pizza place should be able to make, you know, pizza. Yikes. Really bad, not much cheese at all, crappy crust. Just bad. Never going here again…

Terrible customer service. I’m done with this place. Every time I come in here, one of the employees makes some dickish comment. If you say something pointed, I’m not going to laugh. I’m not a fan of sarcasm, especially if I’m giving you money to perform a function I don’t feel like doing or providing me with food I don’t feel like cooking after a long day of work. Don’t ask me if I’m mad after you say said pointed comment — and that women shouldn’t curse when they get mad. Also, please note: don’t ask if «you all use them» when talking to a Black woman who requests napkins with the greasy-ass fries you serve. Ugh. Please close and never reopen.

Just your average pizza . Like some of the reviews have said the guy working there can be kinda a jerk. he gets all stressed out because he is the only one working there half the time. Dont you think you should have more people working on a Sunday? Football and pizza goes pretty well together. I only go there in a pinch.

Typical pizza place/sub shop. Things worth noting: 1) Sub rolls look/taste fresh; 2) They apparently don’t have cheddar(glad I thought to add a second choice); 3) I can only speak of the turkey, but it’s delighfully deli-quality– the closest to Boars Head I’ve been able to get delivered to me in Union Sq(Deli-icious hates me, wahh) Would definitely order another turkey sub, but would probably steer clear of everything else based on other reviews.

I’ve ordered from this place a total of two times — both times for deliveries. The average delivery time was 45 minutes, and my orders varied each time from burgers with fries to cold/hot subs. The first time I ordered, the food was OK. I got a veggie wrap in spinach tortilla and some fries. The fries were inedible. I ended up throwing them away because they were so dry — honestly just like cardboard. The wrap was OK, nothing special. But I refused to rate a restaurant based off of one order so I placed another one a couple of days later. And this is where the one star comes in. When I bit into my wrap on my next order, I felt something stab my gums and the warmth of my blood began to fill my cheeks. I quickly spat out whatever I bit into and found a piece of a plastic fork amidst the vegetables. How in the world does a whole piece of a plastic fork get wrapped?! I continued to unwrap my sandwich and found the fork pieces in 2 other locations — all sharp and placed in different locations of the wrap. WTF? I threw out the sandwich and quite frankly didn’t feel like eating any of the sides my meal came with. There was also plastic wrap in the sandwich. I am so disgusted by the lack of attention to detail and sanitary issues of this place. Never will I order from you again!

This might not be the best pizza place in Somerville, or even the best pizza place in Davis Square, but it is the closest takeout option to my apartment — so you’ll find my roommates and I ordering on a semi-regular basis(although we live so embarrassingly close that delivery is not an option, and pants and shoes must be put on). I’ve tried several pizzas here and my favorite is definitely the Garden, which comes absolutely packed with veggies and just the right amount of cheese and sauce. The South of the Border is also decent, with chicken, jalepenos, and a variety of cheeses including cheddar, but the shredded chicken can get a little messy. Strips of grilled chicken would likely work better. The eggplant parm was decent, although a little bland, and everything I’ve seen my roommates eat over the past year has seemed to be perfectly edible although not terribly interesting. This is definitely a family run establishment and the younger woman who works here is always very nice. If I move off of this block I’m pretty sure I’ll never come back, but for now it’s great for a lazy weekend afternoon when I can barely contemplate the idea of leaving the house but would feel too much shame if I ordered actual delivery.
