Pros: 1.) You will get a serious workout-VERY hard class 2.) They have towels, water, and yoga mats which is great-you don’t have to bring anything. 3.) Teacher is nice Cons: 1.) This class is advanced. The teacher wants you to do crow and hand stands and generally advanced moves. 2.) Teacher calls you out if you can’t do advanced moves in front of the class. 3.) This is yoga, you should never be called out or forced to do moves you aren’t comfortable doing. 4.) The room was 85 degrees. This is HOT yoga. Be forewarned. No where does it list it’s going to be hot, but it is. 5.) They BLAST hip hop and pop music. Not relaxing at all. I like my yoga to be peaceful so this was very overwhelming for me. 6.) The class is located in this woman’s house so you hear all the street noise and it’s just clearly in a house. Not the best environment. 7.) This is more like Pilates yoga. We did a lot of Pilates and cardio moves. I would have gone to Pilates if I wanted to do Pilates. Not my kind of yoga.

I have attended three different yoga classes here(two with my 3 year old son and one blissfully alone). I have always found Yoga slightly terrifying — I am not flexible nor do I relax and get«centered» very easily — but Lisa’s classes give me new belief in yoga. She is patient, immensely skilled and knowledgeable and has the ability to make everyone in the room feel challenged — and indeed centered — in a way I didn’t realize was possible. I would recommend her classes and lovely studio to ANYONE and EVERYONE. You do indeed feel like you are going«home» when you step inside and she greets you with warmth and humor and energy you can’t help but love and want around you all the time…
