I love this place! Really great collection of kids stuff, ranging from clothing to toys to books. A good place to find something fun for all the special kids in your life. The staff has been really nice, friendly & knowledgeable. I feel lucky to live so close by!

Magpie Kids has created a really beautiful store in the former Eddie’s Furniture space by Porter Square. You can tell they put some serious investment into it, and I would say it really paid off.
The main area of the store has toys, and there are separate rooms in the back both for clothes and for books. They toy selection is really well curated. You’re not going to find superheroes, Barbies, or Star Wars things there, but that’s the point, isn’t it? You’re looking for things you won’t typically find at Toys“R“Us.
I was really impressed with the huge selection of interesting, creative books in the book area. I didn’t go into the clothing area this time, but I saw some Tea Collection, so that tells me they’re stocking good kids clothes, too.
We were looking for something for a birthday gift, and David (the owner) was extremely friendly and helpful. We’re blessed with a lot of great stores catering to kids in the area, and this is one of the very best.
