Broadway Eatery

I live right around the corner from this place, and I don’t understand why it isn’t always full. I usually order their BBQ Chicken Bacon Ranch Calzone, which is mouthwatering and huge and typically provides me with lunch and dinner for two days. The last time I placed the order on Foodler it was ten minutes before I realized I had accidentally ordered just a plain BBQ Chicken Calzone — I called up immediately and asked if it was too late to add the bacon and ranch, and they said that even though my calzone had already been made (in ten minutes!) they had no problem making me another one to make sure I was happy with it, just give them another ten minutes or so to whip up a new one. Super grateful to have that kind of customer service (along with their amazing food) so close to me. I hope they stick around for a long time!

Pretty sure my chicken was contaminated and gave me food poisoning. Will not be going back.

The Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwich. It is glorious.
Also, the owners are super nice and seem like generally rad people. If you have an issue, let them know and they will try to make it right. It’s also clean with plenty of seating. I just wish it were a bit cheaper so I could eat here more often!

I gave this place an honest review based on one bad experience and one less than stellar employee (unfortunately he was new) and they deserved better after speaking with Joanne the owner. She was great and you can tell she cares about her business. We ordered again and it was great, from beginning to end and we will be back. Thanks

By Far the best food in Somerville, Medford Area ! Very clean, nice staff. And of course yummy, tasty food with all the fresh ingredients. Give them a try you will not be disappointed .

I have given this place more chances than they deserve. They once took an order of mine over the phone and told me it would be a half hour until it was ready. I arrived for pick up a half hour later and they hadn’t even started cooking it yet; clearly forgot the order. I waited another half hour for it to be ready.
I gave them another chance and found that they also regularly undercook their food. After eating a pizza, I had bad stomach cramps and my cousin was up all night vomiting. Days later, my roommate told me he ordered from Broadway and had the same issue. He had to cook it in our oven for 20 mins for it to be edible. We will not be ordering from this place again.

I’ve only ordered delivery so I’m not sure what they’re like in house.
This is a pretty decent casual American delivery spot. I’ve never been upset with their food, but I’ve never been super impressed either. Prices are good and they’re close to my apartment which is most of the reason I’ve ordered from them.
I was a bit disappointed, I ordered online (through Unilocal) and requested plain chicken tenders with buffalo sauce on the side. I had selected the buffalo tender option because that cost a dollar more and I didn’t want to skimp them, but wrote in the notes to please put the sauce on the side. I received just regular buffalo tenders and also no blue cheese (which I’d also requested).
It was good, just not what I’d ordered. If you’re going to offer online ordering you need to pay attention to the notes people add to their order or it just becomes a frustrating customer experience.
Their salads are huge so I do recommend those.

Worth every penny! I’ll definitely be going soon. Great hospitality and very chill environment.

Really good California salad is super fresh and the Mediterranean wrap is also really good, staff is super friendly and the service is fast! Can’t go wrong if you’re looking for a quick bite to it!

Was disappointed with the italian sub. The roll was thin and small. I expect more meat on my subs at the good places in Somerville.

Ordered takeout from here via door dash. Delivery came within the expected time frame and was still fresh.
I got the loaded fries which were greasy and good. Cheese was cold but that’s to be expected with delivery.
The «homemade» chicken tenders really seemed like they were frozen to me so that was a big let down. They were super thin and not very crispy.
Excited to give this place another try and try something else on the menu!

My girlfriend and I went into Broadway eatery excited about a new place for pizza and sandwiches.
She ordered 2 pieces of pizza and it was dry, oily and absolutely flavorless.
I ordered one of their «famous roast beef sandwiches» and they forgot to add cheese that I paid for. When I asked where the cheese was they were rude and snappy saying I never asked for cheese.
Service was unpleasant from two employees, food was below mediocre
Won’t be coming back even if this was just an «off night»

Since the new owners took over this place it has taken off. The food quality has gone way up and they are extremely friendly to customers on the phone and in person. I have tried a lot of the food here because I live right around the corner and I would recommend you try them out when you want to order or pick up some good food. Their California salad with steak tips on top is phenomenal. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

Ordered a veggie black bean burger (options added: cheddar, feta, mushrooms, onions, tomato).
Solid taste. But probably not their speciality. Burger patty was perhaps a frozen patty reheated.
Wi-​Fi
Works well. Solid place to do work as long you’re bothered by TV sounds. I put headphones so didn’t care.

I haven’t started going to Broadway Eatery until lately. I probably started ordering this summer when I noticed them on GrubHub. And it’s become my go-​to location for delivery since. I’ve tried most of the food from the wraps, pizzas, and a lot of the sandwiches.
While I don’t love the chicken they use for their Buffalo Chicken Ranch wrap, I’ve always become fond of the wide variety of pizzas and the roast beef sandwich is phenomenal. The sides are good and the dessert pizzas are serviceable, albeit a little pricey for what they are. Either way, I look past what turns out to be a pretty hefty bill due to the sheer quality of the food and service.
The service has always been great and delivery times have always been on time based on the time range they always give upon order. I’ve never been to the location itself, but it is now my top choice for whenever I get delivery.
Some orders are definitely standouts while others are passable, but overall I would recommend the Broadway Eatery to anyone in the area who needs some delivery. The pizza is good, the roast beef is great, and the wraps are serviceable. I will definitely keep doing business with Broadway, which is saying something with how picky I am with delivery places. My only wish is they were open until 11pm!

This is a 4.5. I LOVE Broadway Eatery. My fiancé and I order from here via Foodler at least once per week. Their delivery times are almost always reasonable, and on the few occasions they have not been, they’ve brought us a free bag of chips to apologize.
I’ve tried a variety of stuff from their menu and everything is great, but the fries and subs are particularly noteworthy. I LOVE the pastrami and steak bomb subs. The fries are the BEST. If you order them, make sure you get the garlic cream sauce for dipping. There is no better fry dipping sauce on the planet, I’m convinced.
Also, I’m eating low carb/​keto right now, and Broadway is a GREAT option for this. The past couple orders I’ve taken advantage of the Foodler option to add meat to my pastrami or steak subs for a very reasonable cost of $ 2 — they give you like a half pound of meat so it’s a great deal. I’ve also asked them to hold the roll, and they’ve gladly obliged, instead putting all my meat into a nice to-​go container. It’s a keto takeout lifesaver.
The pizza here is pretty decent… unfortunately there’s no really awesome Greek pizza in the North Cambridge/​Davis/​Teele area IMO, so Broadway is your best bet. I always ask them to cook the pizza well done though, otherwise they deliver it pretty lightly cooked.
The salads are decent, nothing amazing but good if you’re in the mood for a pizza joint Greek. I like the House dressing too — it’s some sort of wine vinaigrette.
My fiancé often gets the wraps from here and he likes them. He’s also ordered the chicken tenders and the poppers (appetizer stuff) before and they were good. Calzones are also yummy! My point is, you really can’t go wrong here.

I wish I could give 4.5 stars here. I love shooting the breeze with the owners before grabbing my food. Stefano, one of the workers, is as funny as he is friendly.
The food has been pretty good! Sometimes it’s amazing, sometimes it’s only pretty good. The burgers have been reliably very good and some of the other items like the gyro aren’t as consistent.
Still, I like this place a lot and recognize that they are a new business who care about their customers. Been there several times and will be back again.

I’ve never actually been to Broadway, but it’s the only place that I will order pizza from these days. I discovered them on GrubHub, and they now come by our place at least once a week. Delivery is not always quick (depends on how busy they are), but they never deliver later than they quote us.
The pizzas are really good. Fair warning — they are huge. Two slices and I’m entirely done, but they are pretty awesome. They’re also quite greasy, but sometimes that’s just what you need (read: the perfect pizza to go with or after a big night of drinking). The faves are the Chicken Bacon Ranch, Red Sox, Greek, a Cheese with pepperoni added, and for something strange but good — the Patriots.
If you’re getting fries, it’s worth the extra dollars to add cheese and bacon. It’s also pretty awesome that you can get a pint of Ben & Jerry’s added to your order (and they have a good selection of flavours).
I’m not a huge fan of the chicken tenders. They’re pretty dry. The burgers are also inconsistent. Sometimes too much sauce, sometimes not enough, and the lettuce is usually wilted and a bit gross. But then again, I always get delivery. Perhaps they’re better in store.
There’s a reason I keep ordering from here. By far the best pizza joint in the area.

Get the super beef with BBQ sauce. Thank me later. Seriously, this Super Beef, is SUPER BEEFY!
Nice roast beef with some nice bbq sawce and a grilled (I think buttered) onion roll. $ 7.50.
I’ve had two in 40 hours.

My husband brought me a black bean burger and it was tasty AND homemade. One of the best I’ve had in the area. He had a burger as well, I’m not sure which one but he said he loved it. The pizzas are also tasty! I thought a pan pizza would be oily, but it was not greasy at all. The prices are super affordable, owners are friendly and the food is delicious.
Update: the quality of food is inconsistent during busy times, so maybe plan on off peak hours for the best experience.
