Friendly local barbershop with lots of Televisions and plenty of skilled barbers. The haircuts are usually consist and they are willing to accommodate a particular style that you are looking for. The only downside is the wait sometimes you can wait 5 minutes or wait an hour but it’s common sense that if you go at peak times there going to be busy.

Inconsistent haircuts. It’s not worth the random walk-​in waits of over an hour. Spend that time at another place that provides better service, consistent haircuts, and a scheduled timeline.

Only barbershop i go to! Everyone there is chill and the service there is amazing and obviously great haircuts! I live 40 min away but the drive is worth it when it comes to getting my haircut. 100% recommend everyone to come here!

After moving last month I needed to find a new local barber. I stopped in Saturday based on the previous reviews. There were 6 barbers working and the place was packed. But in about 35 – 40 minutes I was sitting in the chair.
I usually get a buzz cut as there’s very little left to cut but this guy used a comb and scissors for most of my trim. Then he trimmed and evened ny beard.
Great place, professional barbers.

This is a great shop, very professional and clean. I have been coming here for about 6 years. I also have been bringing my son here since he was two. They have a core of guys who have been there for years and are great. The only bad cuts I have gotten was when I was in a rush and strayed too far back to one of the brand new guys. If you don’t know the barbers, keep to one of the guys at the front, closest to the door. They are the best. The ones at the very back are the newest and may or may not be good. I also like that they take credit cards.

There was almost no wait, the haircut was super on point (they even razor shaved the entire line from the side of my forehead to the back of my neck), and I left feeling like it was totally worth the $ 17 dollars they charged me – the guy even trimmed my beard for me too! I gave him a $ 5 tip and will definitely be back again.

I had one of the worst haircuts ever. The guy who did the haircut, sounds like it is his first time to cut hair! I was having the feeling, while he was working, that some areas are being missed. When I am home, I was right, each part of my hair was having a different length! Although I stressed out that I want my hair to be all even. They charged higher than what I was expected, adding the fact the I used my own clippers at home to fix my hair (at this point it was extra short, but I had no other option!), I will never get back there again.
Did I mention that he was revolving my chair all the time because he was lazy to rotate around the chair? He got me really dizzy!

This place is always on point. It is one of the oldest barbershops in the area that was just completely redone. The barbers are nice and professionals I highly recommend this barbershop to anyone in the area!

I was between 4 and 5 stars, but the quality/​price ratio deserves the 5 stars.
I’ve probably been to this place 5 – 6 times. I started going ever since one of my friends showed me this place. There are so many places to get your hair cut at Rutgers, but this is my favorite place. Nice sized building, and comfortable, but the décor is nothing special. I like the atmosphere a lot. Everyone is always talking, laughing, and it makes the experience a comfortable one (I hate getting a haircut more than going to the dentist). The amount of detail they put into making your hair perfect (or as good as it’s gonna get) far outweighs the price they charge. $ 15 bucks for an adult haircut, and they put supercuts and other places to shame. They’re meticulous with detail, and they take their time. That’s a good sign. The staff is mostly young Latino men, but their customers come from all demographics.

This shop is horrible. If you have a reputation for a fresh cut. Don’t come here. Odds are that you will get out the chair, pay and step outside looking like you need a cut. If you like taking risks with your hair… by all means… come here. Strap yourself in for an adventure. Hell, the barber probably won’t know what to expect either. If you have a regular barber that might be farther or have a longer wait I will make this simple… what’s the saying… don’t date down… don’t cheat down… one of those. Because if you get in one of these chairs you will probably get a haircut less satisfactory than you would from your regular barber. In my sons case he had to get his cut fixed a few days later. If you are seriously looking for a shop, do your research. This review is strictly a warning.

Came here for the first time this week. Entered and waited no more than 60 seconds for a cut. Best haircut I’ve had in a long time. Really consistent. Barber paid attention to my needs, moved fast but was sure not to make errors and paid close attention to his work. Friendly service and non-​sense. Only $ 15 for a great haircut, highly recommend and plan on returning.

I come here from Philadelphia to get my haircut, which is consistently very well-​done. No matter who you get, each barber truly pays attention to every closest detail. Despite the great quality, each cut is just $ 14. Like any good barbershop, it’s packed on Friday afternoon, so it’s best to go at some other time. I’m pretty sure they’re open 8:30am to 6pm.
