Subzi Mandi Plaza Food & Spices of India

This small market near by my friend apt… this is small place but you can find everything you need in there…
Price is not expensive, they have parking of the frond market.

The real name for this place is Subzi Mandi Plaza, which appears to be an Indian grocery chain.
The prices and selections reminded me of the Mexican stores in Chicago and California – tons of fresh fruits and vegetables at incredible prices (limes 10/​$ 1, tiny eggplant $ 1/​lb, baby potatoes at $ 1/​lb), plus all of the spices, herbs, and other items (ie mustard oil and dozens of ghee varieties) to make authentic food. Then there was the bean room – Jim had no idea that so many types of beans even existed. Minimally, 30 – 40 varieties? Plus dried fruits and nuts. 50lb bags of rice – at least a dozen varieties. Ready to eat meals (Indian brands of Spicy Bite, half the price). At least 4 types of coconuts and 6 versions of eggplants. And green beans which were 14″ long and tied in bundles.
Fairly chaotic, but friendly.
