What a week. Guided to this hotel via a local softball tournament. Never again. The beds were stiff, the shower was mildew covered, the wall paper in the room was peeling off, on 6⁄25 I came downstairs at 5:30am to find the manager passed out on the lounge sofa, the girls were refused towels at the pool and told to use towels from their room, shall I go on? There were horror stories from other parents on our softball team regarding room cleanliness at check in and theft of personal items from the room. It soured an already rough trip(bags lost in transit, next Unilocal review).

Went last night to see a great 80’s band in the bar there. There was this angry Steven Segal look-alike bartender(failed actor type) who was angry and rude to everybody. He surely didn’t want to be there, and has no business dealing with people. Maybe the Marines would take him. The place was really hot inside and the bar didn’t smell clean. I probably would not go back.

Sheets on the bed have holes and stains mattress cover does not fit the mattress and bunches up in the center really poor quality. We walked into the restaurant last night to eat at 6:30 and the bar was full and we did not get noticed because the bartender was too busy with the bar so we walked out. We will not stay at this location ever again with this poor quality for the price. One star is too much for the quality or lack of that we got

Recently did a fashion show here and the accommodations were sub par. The banquet room in which they provided was very small and there were issues with the lights the entire time. The rugs in the banquet hall looked a little grungy and there was no tissue in any of the bathrooms. This definitely not be my first choice for a hotel and/or banquet hall.

«A deal?» Jan 10, 2013 richrhon Came into NJ for a funeral. Needed a last minute hotel that was inexpensive, clean and conveniently located. I came across this hotel on Kayak originally. Had only stayed in one La Quinta property previously and it was very nice so I figured why not. We walked in to a decent looking lobby area and had a very easy checkin. We had booked 2 rooms for older kids. Rooms looked decent but open closer inspection found the sheets to be all wrinkled as if never changed. Also, there were lots of marks on the sheets and covers. Bathroom had minimal toiletries. Shower was great. Nice pressure Multi shower head. Breakfast-horrible. Cold eggs, cold potatoes, stale bagels, lukewarm water for oatmeal. They can definitely do better for breakfast if they’re going to offer one. Overall it suited our purposes but would probably not stay here again

This is the worst La Quinta I’ve stayed at. It’s $ 100 plus tax and here’s what you get for that: 1. Room was dirty upon arrival. There was a plastic bag on one bed, a take out soda glass on nightstand and debris in the bathroom. When asked, the front desk manager retorted, «Well, were the beds clean?» 2. They have a restaurant that turns into a bar at 9pm that plays loud dance music. When asked, the front desk manager said, «Oh yes Miss Munroe, it will be finished by midnight or before or within one hour after that.» I’m on the 2nd floor, it’s after one and the bass/music is so loud It might as well be here in the room. 3. Due to said party, there is NO parking available for guests checking in. 4. Upon closing the cabinet door to the fridge broke and fell off onto the floor. 5. The«free» wireless internet did not work. Ever. 6. The entire hotel was dirty, smelled dirty and while there were plenty of rough as sand paper towels in the bathroom… they were what you’d use to line the back porch for your dogs to pee on. Oh, and the tub was dirty. 7. The smoking room had no ashtrays. 8. The carpets throughout the hotel were so disgusting you have to wear your boots from the bed to the washroom. 9. It is 100ft from the highway(and it’s noise) and directly across from a working g train track. 10. Keep driving.

Pretty nice hotel even though they did not have enough towel racks in the bathroom and only 1 mug next to the cofee maker.
