COPT and the entire staff(Payal the physical therapist, Kristie the receptionist, and the assistants) are great– Helpful, friendly, patient and fun. I came here because they had great reviews on Google. I had been to PT before for tension headaches which had developed into shoulder/arm pain as well. At COPT I felt like I was really strengthening my muscles and improving my posture. I plan to continue some exercises at home so hopefully one day I will be pain free!

Comprehensive Orthopedic Physical Therapy is the best physical therapy center I have ever been to — by far… seriously, by far the best! I recently changed physical therapy centers because I wasn’t happy with my previous location and thought there might be something better out there. I feel so, so lucky to have found Comprehensive Orthopedic Physical Therapy; this place has actually made doing PT enjoyable! The team at COPT is amazing, and it’s just that — a team — not just a staff; it’s clear that they enjoy their work and each other. My physical therapist is Payal Patel who has her doctorate in physical therapy. Payal is absolutely dedicated and knowledgeable; she pays close attention to me as an individual patient — both in terms of her hands on attention during my PT sessions and in terms of my ongoing PT regimen, which she is always developing and tweaking — she is precise about proper form and she doesn’t let me slack. But at the same time Payal is such a pleasure to work with; she’s lighthearted, approachable, relaxed and fun. She listens closely to my questions and concerns and I can tell that my individual care is a priority to her. Christine is the therapist assistant that I work with and she’s the best! She’s such a pleasure and such a big help. If I’m not working one-on-one with Payal then Christine is helping me out with the equipment, checking in to see if I need anything or watching my form — she also doesn’t let me slack. Even though she is an assistant and not a physical therapist per se Christine is attentive, knowledgeable about proper form and implementation and she clearly takes her work very seriously. And that’s the thing — everyone at COPT takes their work very seriously and yet it’s not a serious, dreary place; it’s a fun, lighthearted place — even if you happen to be doing some dreary exercises. Unlike just about every other physical therapy place I’ve been to, at COPT from the moment my secession begins my therapist or assistant is either working with me hands on or watching me closely. I always feel like a priority. I’ve been going there for months now and the attention that I got in my most recent session seemed just as focused as in my first session. Again, this place is unlike any physical therapy I’ve been to, where often after a few weeks you are left alone to do your own thing. Although I don’t typically work closely with George(the owner) or Liz(his assistant) they are both always very helpful, personable and upbeat and of course, if they ever catch me, they also don’t let me slack! George has created a real special place in Comprehensive Orthopedic Physical Therapy where the skill and focus of the team is matched by their warmth, their sense of humor and their ability to enjoy their job and their patients. I should also mention that they’ve got lots of different types of equipment and none of it’s old — this place is modern. Though I’m not currently working on my arthritic knees, I’m looking forward to one day trying out this anti-gravity treadmill thing they’ve got — it’s like a treadmill that can somehow let you run/walk at like 1⁄5 your body weight or something like that. Kinda crazy. Anytime I get excited about using some treadmill, you know that’s some next level stuff. In any case, the facility is bright and modern and they’ve got lots of different equipment available. Free coffee in the waiting area to is also a plus. Again, I could not be happier with Comprehensive Orthopedic Physical Therapy; I could go on and on about them! Check them out. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
