I’m so happy that Amer-Fil is only minutes away from my job! — Located in a strip mall so there’s plenty of parking — 5 or 6 tables to eat — Great price point — Only deducting a star because I feel like the food variety is lacking. I’m surprised they don’t serve bopis or sinigang which I feel are pretty standard at Filipino restaurants. I got the combo — rice with 2 entrée meals. I chose a pork BBQ skewer and tocino(sweet, cured pork) as my entrée meals. Then I got the turon(think of a sweet deep-fried eggroll with banana and jackfruit inside) and halo-halo(popular Filipino shaved ice dessert) for dessert. I KNOW I KNOW, I WENT A LITTLECRAY… but it was cheap and delicious and I’m working out tonight so I regret nothing! And neither does my wallet. I only paid $ 13.53 total for the combo, turon, and halo-halo. A really fair price! The man at the counter, Tony, is so sweet. I’m not sure if he’s the owner or not, but he’s extremely friendly and even gave me a little extra ice cream when I told him how excited I was to be having halo-halo for the first time in years. :) I better get back on my work out grind because I really look forward to coming here more often in the future.

I lived in the area for 10 years, and passed by every other day on my way to work. I missed out this place for a good quick lunch. No more McDonald’s and Wendy’s lunch. Home made lunch from now on. No more Fast food.

I looove Amer-Fil’s hot dishes. I’ve tried their lumpiang shanghai, pancit, and stir fried string beans– they are all amazing. Go during their peak lunch hours(I’m guessing from 11:30am to like 1pm) and you will get huge portions. Their prices are very fair too. The guy who mans the counter(I never caught his name) is great also. Very patient and kind.

I’m glad that Amer-fil is serving great Filipino food in the area. It’s the best around. They are open for lunch and take take-out orders for trays for parties. I especially like their lumpia shanghai, adobo, fried catfish, longanisa, pancit, etc.

I found a new place for good Filipino food for lunch during the work week! It is a market as well, but I went straight for the food. The gentleman working there was awesome. He explained what everything was and even offered me some free egg rolls too! They have a few tables there and since I was there pretty late in the afternoon, I was the only customer sitting there stuffing my face. I got the adobo Chicken and the chicken and potato stew. Yum! They also had Turon which I am a HUGE fan of. I have been looking for Turon at other establishments and never have been successful in obtaining these delicious gems so I was incredibly surprised to see them and jumped at purchasing a few of these! I am so glad I did. Delicious!

I love eating here on a Sunday after church. Pancit is my favorite and lumpia shanghai is good too. The Turon is to die for. Decent prices and people who work there are very friendly…

Not too shabby! The place have your typical asian food products. From asian drinks, chips, cooking ingredients, etc. They have homemade filipino food too. I recommend their lumpia which is a filipino eggroll. Ask for thai chili sauce too with rice on the side. Place isn’t that big. But has variety of things to buy. People there are very friendly.

They have the best lumpia(Filipino egg roll) in NJ! You can order trays to bring to parties at reasonable prices. They have combo platters where you can get two sides with either rice or pancit for a good price. You can also purchase Filipino items here such as marinades, chips, and ice cream. Check it out!
