Great music! Lots of options, prices are decent. Nice if you want to hang out with locals.

Really enjoyed this place. Randy is a great guy even though his Vikings kicked my Chargers asses! Was there the night before and there were two guys playing acoustic guitars making some great music. Good draft beer, good wines and bring your food in from the local restaurants

Perfect experience watching the United States Men’s National Team (soccer) play yesterday. The bartender (owner?) turned off the music and put the sound on. Thank you! He said he was happy to do it and «loves fans.» It can be hard to find a good sports bar if you truly want to watch the game. If that’s what you’re looking for, this is your spot.

We had a ton of fun here! The first time we went it was pretty quiet, we went back Saturday nite and it was packed with dancing and a fun band… super casual and laid back!

Great place to hang out, drink good beer, and play shuffle board! The space is really big so plenty of room for everyone. They sell pitchers of beers with glass pitchers! (I’m a snob like that) the shuffle board is a small version but still so fun! They had live singer singing cover songs which I love vs the radio. All around great experience and will go back next time we are in town!

Games were fun. Bar tender was awesome as was his beard. ;-). Drinks were full at all times and did not need to wait for the next one. Only minus was for the fact that the bathroom was a bit dirty.

Randy’s is a great place to stop in to check out awesome beers. Great selection, and fantastic service! Everytime I’ve been here, it’s been woefully empty, so I hope that I’m either coming during lulls of customers or attendance begins to pick up soon (maybe if more people checked out all of the 5-​star Unilocal reviews here, they’d be more inclined to drop in). Definitely a place to go if you enjoy beer or just want to hang out and relax! Can’t wait to see a show here!

Randy’s Taproom is like walking into Cheers. If you’re not a beer connoisseur, as I’m not, that’s ok. Randy will guide you from novice to expert. The local musicians who performed were entertaining and have great voices. Bravo! Plus free fresh popped popcorn… what more could anyone want?

This place is awesome Randy is the owner and and this place has a great atmosphere where you can hang out and have a great beer.

Coolest bar I’ve ever been to in Solvang. Other reviewers have described the uniqueness so I won’t again. Bartender (owner?) Drew is great, super nice guy. They have a good selection of craft beer, bottles and tap. We did the sampler of 4 beers for $ 7 while watching the playoffs. Interesting crowd too. I thought with live music it would be crowded but it wasn’t at all. Oh and you can bring in outside food. Note Olsen’s Danish Bakery is next door, as is Solvang Brewery with a full menu. Good beer at a unique bar, burgers and danish, not a bad night in Solvang!

My wife and I had a great time there. Great way to relax in Solvang. Beer for me, wine for my wife. We played pool, shuffleboard, and darts. What more could you ask for. Patio looked nice with flowers and all, but it was warm for us (almost 90), so we stayed inside.

I like the feel of the place. it is like a bunch of living rooms and play areas thrown together with a bar. They have a nice selection of beer, some table games, and a bunch of stuff to wonder through and look at.

LOVE this place! It’s odd that it’s in the back of a furniture store but it’s so casual and inviting, plus they have boards games and a lovely back patio. They serve some great micro brews too which are a refreshing change after wine tasting all day. Local bands play at night on the weekends. A super fun place to chill when you’re in Solvang :)

A good place to chill after a long drive. Have some drinks and listen to the live band. I would have liked if they had some snacks.

A great place to try some locally brewed beers, I highly recommend checking this place out. A great selection and great prices (!). If you aren’t happy with a particular brew, Drew will be more than happy to find you something you’ll enjoy.

Very cool vibe at this place featuring microbrew and Mrs. Pac Man in addition to live music and dancing. I spent most of the evening playing Mrs. Pac Man with a buddy while our ladyfolk drank at a 130 year old poker table.

Solvang may be far and away from the far southern tip of the state, but these folks have done the driving for us. Good thing because I can’t stand Highway 101.
They’ve not only managed to gather some local favorites to put on tap, but they’ve begun gathering great brews from all over Southern California. No need to go on a road trip hours away for a tasting anymore.
I’ve been coming here since Randy’s Taproom opened, and they’ve yet to stop expanding and adding great stuff. I’ve started seeing unique bottled brews for sale, and it’s nice to see that in our small town. I like not having to drive to Downtown Santa Barbara to find a bottle of thick strong beer I can chew.
Aside from surefire selection, Randy’s is a haven for us locals who want to get out in the evening after work but still want to stay close to home. Multiple Sports games playing on multiple widescreen HD TV’s isn’t the only thing they’ve got goin’ on. They just recently kicked it up a notch with — A MS. PACMAN COCKTAIL TABLE.
Dude.
… and it still only costs $ 0.25 cents, just like in the 80’s.

Love this place!!! Me and my girlfriend went to solvang for some wine tasting and refill our growlers at are favorite brewery. We walked in to this place to grab a beer and Drew totally made us feel comfortable. Not only was the beer cold and the place welcoming but Drew also helped us to find some local eateries to make our stay even better. Next time we are in town I will surely be stopping by here to grab a beer or five!!!

It’s 10AM and you aren’t ready to get in the car to taste wine but you don’t want to wait until 4PM to drive to Buellton to try Figueroa Mountain beers – where do you go? IT’S HERE! Yes, Randy gave us flights of beer 3 Figueroas (Davy Brown, Danish Red and Hoppy Poppy) and 1 Jubilee IPA from the tap for $ 6 per flight. I bought a bottle of the Figueroa Stout to complete the experience. Great fun! Figueroa Mountain beer is very good – Davy Brown was the favorite – and has won awards. Blue Moon was also available on tap as were other standard bottled beers – but why buy beer that you can get at any supermarket?
The taproom is in C&R Imports. Look around – there is interesting stuff. But the beer rules!!!
