We stumbled upon this place after a bad wine tasting a few doors down. What a breath of fresh air! Great wine! Great service! Great ambiance! They have trivial pursuit cards on the table for drunken fun! We liked the wine so much we bought some to bring back. Prices are very reasonable! Generous pour!

Wonderful winery! The owners are very friendly and have an interesting family story about the wines they make. They stayed open late; great place to visit if you’re in solvang.

Owners are so sweet. They serve you bread and olive oils and a variety of balsamic vinegars with your tasting. The fig balsamic and chocolate cherry are to die for. This is a must go to tasting room!

DELICIOUS wine. What brought us in was the sign that said«Kids and dogs welcome.» We were more than just welcomed. The owners were so generous and accommodating along with all of the staff. The owners wife even held my four month old baby and left a lipstick mark on his head! So funny. They are Sicilian and it shows. The wine club is only 6 bottles a year. We joined immediately after tasting. One of the best wine experiences we have had in a while. We frequent Paso Robles and taste often at many wineries but this unique experience in Solvang will stick with us!

Dan’s not only the owner, but a wonderful host as well as a very knowledgeable sommelier. The Dago Red caught my eye right from the start and I must say it was a delightful experience to my pallet. We also enjoyed several other bottles upon his recommendation. I recommend visiting this establishment anytime you are in the area. It was a real treat and a genuine pleasure to meet, Dan, at the bar.

Dan and his wife are absolutely fantastic. I am a wine club member and visit whenever I’m in Solvang, and enjoy all of the varietals they make. Literally every bottle is delicious. My favorites are the 2011 and 2012 Pinot noir, Grenache, and Syrah. I order the frog balls(pickled Brussels sprouts), picked garlic and hot pepper stuffed olives a few times a year. I definitely recommend going in for a tasting if you want to meet some cool people, drink great wine and get the lowdown on what to do during your visit!

What a great place to have a few glasses and hang out with friends! Their staff really know how to make you feel like home here! We went for their wine tasting and it turned to be a very good one. In particular, their Syrah was excellent. The place is fun and welcoming, and we had a great time listening to Bridgette and her stories. If you are in Solvang, you have to pay this place a visit.

Came here accompanying my friends for wine tasting. Not a drinker but for the company. Bridget, owner of the family-run place was very friendly and sociable. She shared lots of fun stories about her family and folks helping out at the place. My friends said the wine were pretty good too. Thumbs up!

This is a great wine tasting in Solvang. The boat Thorn was very knoeledable and friendly. I really apreciate that they provided complimentary crackers to cleanse the palate which surprisingly other wine rooms did not do. They are also children and dog friendly proving little games and dog treats. Out of all the trading rooms you will enjoy this one a lot.

I love this comfy and welcoming wine bar! The owners are very nice and helpful. It was really nice to relax with a glass of wine, not feeling rushed and play a little trivia with my husband. The wines are delicious along with the olive oils and vinegars! I highly recommend this little place!

Had a spontaneous trip to Solvang with my boyfriend a few Sundays ago. Around 5:20pm when we arrived we scrambled to find a wine tasting that was still open. We ended up picking Casa Cassara because they had a check in special. came and sat at the counter where Dan greeted us — super cool guy and really knows his stuff. I am a little more knowledgeable than a novice Wino — so it was great hearing him tell us all about the wines and the story about his grandfather coming to the US. My goodness were they DELICIOUS! I loved every single one and a few had some amazing pairings. I ended up buying the Chardonnay but it was a hard toss up between that one and the Sangiovese. I hope to return soon!

Summer Passes are available for pick up here, so this was going to be our first stop until we realized they don’t open until noon. So we went to Sort this out Cellars first and then back to Cassara. The owner was there to greet us. He had a long beard and looked like he might ride a Harley which made it feel down to earth to me. He was super nice and friendly and happy to talk about his wines and wine growing. He had a nice story regarding the Dago Red wine and his grandfather. I enjoyed the pinot and the Dago Red the most. Also available is a variety of olive oils, jams, lotions and other items great for souvenirs and gift giving. I think you can also do olive oil and vinegar tastings. This is a tasting room I would visit again and I would also look into the $ 40 Summer Pass. It’s a great deal with one price for free tastings at several wineries in the Solvang and Los Olivos areas.

The place was nice and welcoming, just like the owner(who looked like be belonged to the group ZZ Top) He explained all his wines and had a wonderful conversation with him and his life as an owner of a winery and the history of his family owning it. We will be back and bring family along to enjoy the great wines he sells(bought a few from him). His wife is just as kind and very friendly.

OK wines poured by knowledgeable but unpretentious people in a classically quaint, dog-friendly tasting room. Best of all, we learned about the Summer Pass there, as they are the only tasting room in Solvang where you can pick one up. An incredulous value worth an inquiry.

A cute place for wine tasting. I enjoyed all the wines, and it was a good deal. There are 2 for 1 coupons everywhere, you can pick some up at the Visitors Bureau. With the coupons you pay $ 10 for 2 tastings. I think you get to try 5 wines for each tasting. Each one was enjoyable. Some unique features of the tasting room included an old-timey player piano, which was at once cute and annoying. Cute because it’s a player piano! Annoying because the little girl who was playing it while we were there was like the Energizer bunny — she never stopped playing! Also, each table has a deck of trivia game cards, which I thought was a nice touch. We had a fun time testing each other with trivia questions while drinking our wine. Overall, this tasting room isn’t a must-see, as the ambiance of the room isn’t amazing. However, it’s still relaxing, friendly, and worth a visit.

A cute little place in Solvang. I am glad we stopped by, the wine tasting was reasonably priced and the wines were very tasty(also the Unilocal check-in deal was great!), but the experience overall was just okay. We came in, shuffled around for a minute to get the lay of the land, sat down, tried a few wines, had to get up to get our last tasting, and then got up again to ask for the bill, and left. There was just not a lot of information about the wines and although the staff was friendly, I wouldn’t describe the atmosphere as particularly warm or welcoming– it felt more like buying wine in a store than going wine tasting.
