Hampton Inn Cleveland-Solon

This is an obvious place to stay near to my company HQ. The staff, cleanliness, etc are great I would highly recommend this hotel. I am a regular there now and enjoy that no matter what time I pass through the lobby (sometimes late) there is always something out… not always food but usually there are cookies, though anytime you can grab tea, coffee, lemon water, and occasionally they have a complimentary HH.
My only qualm, which is a very important qualm based on the location and the demographic of mostly business travelers, such as myself, is the internet. I believe that the internet could be faster, either by increasing modem capacity or updating access points… or both. I am not sure where the bottleneck is but this in important amenity in keeping me coming back.

We spent 4 nights at this hotel. The entire staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and the HVAC worked perfectly. The fitness room was small but it had a decent assortment of equipment including dumbbells up to 50 lbs. The breakfast had a broad assortment of hot and cold fare and they changed it up a bit to provide some variety. The breakfast staff was super nice. The price was right and it’s closes enough to the city that commuting is not a problem. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly. I didn’t like the out of date heating/​cooling system by the window. In Oder to maintain room temp it has to keep cutting off and on and it was loud. The breakfast was typical and they do have a Manager’s reception at night with beer and wine and some bag snacks. Not fancy but a good deal for the room rate.

The nicest place I stayed during my three night trip to Cleveland for work. I normally stay in Marriott branded properties when traveling for work (Fairfield, SpringHill, etc), but all of the locations I was visiting were either non convenient or not looking so great. So this was my Hilton branded trip.
I arrived around 9:00 PM after a full day of travel. Parking was easy and I was greeted right away at the front desk. The young gentleman quickly got me checked in and provided me with some info about breakfast and the other amenities. The room was located where I wanted it (top floor, near elevator) and my bed preference was taken care of (only trifecta of my trip). Room was clean & comfortable. Love the lap desks (great for eating your dinner in bed, as well as some laptop work!) and the comfy beds.
The only oddball was the soap dish in the bathroom looked pretty scummy. Not sure if the housekeeper just missed cleaning it between guests, but I just put my soap in a cup instead.
I’d definitely stay at this location again.

Clean and up to date. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff is great and really helpful.

Hampton Inn really was a great deal for the weekend! We had to go down to Ohio this past weekend for a wedding. Hampton Inn made it easy for us!
The staff here is great! very friendly and ready to help you with your needs. We checked in around 7pm at night on a Friday after a long 10 hour drive from Vermont. The front desk lady was there and checked us in quickly after welcoming us. No wait or anything! Also the next night while we where wrapping the wedding gifts we noticed we had forgotten tape. After running down and asking for directions to a Target to buy some she just offered us some! So we took it and brought it back down when we had finished. We only had to tape a few things. So it worked out well for us. Check out was just as easy.
The hotel is located in a good area of town as well. Just outside of Cleavland. Some parts of the city are sorta sketchy but this area of the town felt safe to us. They offer a ton of parking outside and best of all its free! You will also notice they have a few restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Just in case you don’t wanna travel into the city for some dinner/​lunch. There is a Longhorn and taco bell right next to each other. (Note: We did not eat at these locations but they looked good from the the outside.)
The room we got had a king size bed, microwave, fridge, and even a couch and coffee table! It had a lot of space to move around in. The hotel also offers a lot more amenities. I will list them below for you.

Over all we spent about $ 85 a night. With taxes and fees our grand total was around $ 207. Very fair in my book!
They have a great staff of people and good prices. Very fair in my opinion. If we return to Ohio we will be booking with Hampton Inn again with no questions asked.

we were traveling with our miniature schnauzer, Louie and I had a medical emergency… the manager offered to take Louie in his crate into the office while we were gone for a few hours. I had said that he would be fine in his crate, but not only did they walk him, but when my husband picked him up, he was in the manager’s lap loving it! Definitely a PET FRIENDLY HOTEL!!!

This hotel is where we stay when we are in town to visit family. We’ve stayed here at least 6 times over the past few years. Every time, our experience is consistently good.
The hotel is always clean, and complimentary, fresh cookies are offered at the Reservation desk. and staff is always nice. They also have a fireplace and couches with a large flat screen TV in the lobby. I’ve seen many people gathering here at night to watch games or enjoying breakfast in the morning.
The rooms are also consistently clean and spacious for a standard room. The beds are also very comfortable. I think it’s safe to say that they are one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve stayed in.
In the a.m., we always hit up the complimentary breakfast buffet. The offerings are pretty standard. There are a few hot items that vary each stay. They also have bagels, fresh fruit, cereal, and endless coffee.
This is definitely a good place to stay if you’re looking for a reasonably priced hotel in the area.

Awesome, high quality hotel in the medium hotel price range. They were very friendly and helpful when we needed directions, and their cleaning staff wasn’t trying to force us out of our hotel rooms first thing in the morning so they could get their cleaning done (Holiday Inn, I’m looking in your direction).
Our room was also totally sound proof and pleasantly spacious, plus it included a large and very comfortable bed that felt like a cozy black hole of sleep compared to most hotel beds. Large bathrooms with working hot water, a half decent continental breakfast (with multiple fruit options and real bakery items), and a wide variety of cable channels rounded out a very pleasant stay in a surprisingly affordable hotel (prices float around $ 100).
