Bought my family three gift cards off the RMCF web page for holiday presents. Shop cannot figure out how to honor them even when the recipient walks in with a receipt which includes name, email, date, value: «we have to call Denver.» Avoid them, or use cash. Right now I’m out $ 75 with not much to show for it. Staff are admittedly working on the problem, but with little evidence that they realize that most shops can handle gift certificates with great ease. Avoid this place. Too bad, the chocolate is tasty.

Delicious chocolate!!! Avalanche bar was to die for. Truffles were good too. Definitely recommend stopping off at this place if you are in snowmass.

Came here for a Hot Mocha because we needed some caffeine to keep us up a little while longer after a day on the slope. The goal was to get good, long sleep and up early when the lifts open. I grabbed a piece of their SeaSalt Caramel in Milk Chocolate as a treat and enjoyed it thoroughly. The next evening we once again agreed that caffeine was much needed, but really for me it was that chocolate, doh. Prices varies for chocolates, candied apples, and marshmallow since everything is weigh. About $ 2 – 4 for a hot drink and $ 3 – 5 for ice cream scoops. Spend 20bucks to get a free piece of Sea Salt Caramel that cost about a buck? A challenge but worth it.

The most difficult part about visiting the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is deciding what type of superb chocolate to purchase; every item is absolutely delicious. Chocolate covers everything from graham crackers to pretzel rods; fruit and nuts to marshmallows and potato chips. It makes everything taste that much better! The sugar free candies pack just as much flavor as their full-sugar counterparts.(The sugar free English toffee is A-MAZING!) The chocolatiers are always friendly and helpful – another reason why I find myself coming back to this shop year after year.
