The prices are on point and everything tastes fresh!

This place started out as our family’s favorite pizza place. However, the quality has deteriorated with time. We gave this place several more tries, but we just couldn’t stomach it any more. Papa Murphy’s is better than this place now. They may still beat Papa John’s.

I can’t even look at Papa Murphys anymore! This place is wonderful!!! great pizza and great customer service. They could be a little cheaper but their pepperoni family size is always $ 9.99. & I love the fact that you can do four diff quarters on the pizza to try new things! Love it!

My whole family loves this pizza! Always great pizza~ fresh ingredients, great cheese, excellent crust. The service is stellar too. Every time I’ve called they have been cheerful, and my order is ready within 10 minutes. Always. When I pick up my order, they even hold the door for me. This is great take and bake~ better than the rest. Top notch pizza and friendly service!

We got half Big Star Combo and half veggie.
The Big Star Combo half was my favorite! The veggie was good, don’t get me wrong, but the combo was the best.

Good toppings waaay betta that Papa Murph’s. Not a big fan of take and bake. The salads are fresh and plentiful.

Seldom do I write reviews, but felt compelled to after trying Big Star Pizza… The Pizza was great! Undeniably, the best pizza around. If you like fast food pizza Big Star is not for you. The ingredients are home made, fresh and you will actually feel as though you have had a wholesome meal… Not sure why it is germane to the subject of «new owners», as TJ pointed out, which is all the more reason to support small family business… and not corporate chains. The fact is, that this is a family owned business, who actually cares about the quality and the product they provide to their customers, unlike a fast food pizza chain, whose sole purpose is to mass produce «pizza» .
I do have to say, the owners are very friendly, customer oriented and actually go out of their way to earn your business… Service you rarely see elsewhere.
Also, the first time we stopped, originally intending on going to Quiznos (next door), the «King 5 best of the Northwest», attracted us to give Big Star a try. glad we did!!!

I wanted to update my review. I am sad to say, although its the best take N bake. Under new owner, the crust has changed and that was my favorite part of the pizza. I miss it, to bad the other owner didnt give it to you!

Excellent Pizza. It is the only place we go to for it in Snohomish. The salads are huge and excellent as well. The staff is very nice and helpful. My favorite is the sausage and mushroom

For various reasons, this location has been through 3 owners in three years without much fanfare. One thing that did not go unnoticed with the recent change: The crust. The crust that is being used now tastes similar to what you get at those grocery store made in-​house Pizzas. Kind of a floury after– taste… They used to make the dough fresh on site and I’m pretty certain those days are gone. Different recipe for sure. The toppings however are fresh and dont have that «right-​out-​of-​the Costco-​bag» flavor. They offer one size pizza and one size only so if you’re bringing one home for yourself, be hungry or make room for storage,. I would place it in the «medium» size category at most other places. The staff there is friendly and helpful. You come in and they’re glad to see you. No snot nosed pouty sullen teenagers in evidence. Nice folks.

I just started a strict diet and I’m a busy person so I need a good salad in a hurry… I HIGHLY recommend Big star pizza in Snohomish She is SO sweet and the salad is out of this world fresh and so full of all the good stuff. I’m SUPER picky about fresh salad and this is bomb. The pizza is awesome too, so my husband and kids say, I was a good girl and only ate the bacon off the top HAHAHA! Good stuff, go there!

I knew there was a reason that I struggled on 3 vs. 4… this is the first time that I’ve changed a rating and here’s why. My grandmother has been intollerant to gluten for about 10 years now. She hasn’t or should I say hadn’t had pizza in 10 years. Personally, I can’t even fathom that fact. So, I invited my grandparents over for gluten free pizza. When I was serving up my grandma I asked if she would like two pieces. My grandpa said to only give her one because she wouldn’t eat two, as Grandma is generally a picky eater. Well, she actually ate the two, and one more for good measure to Grandpa’s surprise. She couldn’t have been more satisfied. Of course I had to try it even though we got a regular pizza too. It was really well made and tasty! Based on the quality of the gluten free pizza alone it kicks it up to a 4 with ease. But the fact that I got to watch my grandma enjoy pizza for the first time in 10 years. You can’t put a rating on that. It was precious and I’ll never forget it. I would like to end in saying thank you to Big Star for making that moment possible and for responding with such grace to my initial rating. You will see me again for sure.

To H#** with Papa Murphy’s. I have worked in many pizza shops. Big Star is the best take and bake in Snohomish. Their pizza is consistent and the staff is always ready to please. It is always quick from when I walk in the door to walking out with my pie ready to cook.
I always purchase a Hawaiian at a minimum. The BBQ chicken is also very tasty. Don’t be afraid of their menu, give it a try. You should not be disappointed. They do cost a little bit more then the other take and bakes but I feel that you get the value out of the customer service and quality of the pie. The crust is very palatable with a nice light flavor. Don’t hesitate and give them a try.

I had never even heard of big star until the latest owners took over. They are SUPER friendly and welcoming, they chatted with me and made me feel like I would be Their only customer that day (which of course is far from true).
Then came the pizza which was really really yummy. I have tried a few different ones now but my favorite like many other reviewers was the Daves Special. As far as take and bake pizza goes these guys are top tier, bar none fantastic.
The price is always very reasonable and my family loves it. Suffice it to say I am now a regular. I recommend you give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Taco pizza is AMAZING! Papa Murphy’s has serious competition… This pizza is pretty darn good for a take and bake pizza joint! Highly suggest and can’t wait to enjoy again!

Big Star Pizza… Hummmmmmm
I will try and be fair here.
I joked with the folks over the phone that this was their big chance to beat out Papa Murphy’s. Of course they told me they were way better.
Their Pizza is Mediocure at best. The crust is decent, but really thin on the Meat-​a-​tarian that we got. The sauce is merely a lack luster «red stuff» that has no flavor. I am not a huge nutmeg fan which is in their sausage, but quality of meats were good.
Cheese is Synonomous with the word pizza! These folks go way cheap on the cheese. Im serious, they give you hardly any.
In closing, this is they type of pizza you would expect to get at street fair or an event. Nice folks, I wish them well, but sorry the pizza is not exciting at all.

I’m not one who writes reviews unless I think a place is well deserving and goes above and beyond to please and the quality is superb. This is one of those places
Went to Big Star for the first time a couple weeks ago cause I saw a sign that said «Grand Opening Special: Large Pepperoni $ 5.00» so I was intrigued and got one.
Upon coming through the door I was greeted by a cheery guy around my age (24) who you could tell was new to retail or anything like it, but added enough finesse and personality that I didn’t mind that it took a little longer than normal to process my card.
The pizza was handed to me promptly and the first thing I noticed was that it had a smell. Not a bad one, a nice light garlic herb smell. The pizza weighed a good solid ton as well, lots of cheese and sauce.
Ok, so I get home, unwrap it, and realize that the smell was coming from the crust which had been brushed with a garlic herb oil. Definitely a nice touch.
Cooked the pizza, and by the time it was almost ready my wife and her friend were peeking out the door saying their adoration to the smell of it.
So I let it cool, slice it up, and proceed to eat it. This pizza was amazing. Simply put, I love it. It was far better than any other take and bake I’d had, and better than all but two pizzeria’s pizzas I have had. For $ 11.99 normal price, it’s well well worth it.
Today was what made me have to come on here and break my looking at reviews but never posting spree. I met the owners when stopping in.
Through it I found their dough is freshly made every other day, never frozen like the «other» take and bake’s out there. A lot of the unique pizzas are the owners creations which I am now just dying to try out (Especially the «Cracked Mushroom» which boasts a topping that the owner said is «like nothing you have ever had or imagined on a pizza» or their BBQ Chicken pizza). The owners were so friendly and believe in their products so heartily that I couldn’t but be struck by how great this place is. I was even given the pleasure of being lab rat for the co-owner’s new chocolate chip cookie recipe she wasn’t quite sure about; let me tell you, if this was a recipe she was unsure was going to be great, one she is sure of would kill people out of sheer cookie goodness.
All in all, their food has been amazing so far. Looking forward to trying many many many more things.
Menu items include:
Pizzas. Standard fare and some very interesting and new sounding recipes. Vegetarians take a look, they have a vegetarian pizza that sounds really good with a homemade pesto sauce even.
Salads. Have yet to try, but with the quality of the pizzas, I’m sure you can’t go wrong. My wife says they are good though.
Desserts. A few different kinds of cookies and their «Soon to be Famous» Cinnamon rolls. Can’t wait to try these as well.
