I live close to Ocharleys and it’s often thrown into the restaurant mix out of convenience. Unfortunately OC is kind of run of the mill place in Snellville. This visit we were greeted at the door and asked to sit at a table instead of a booth and that completely threw off the greeter. She didn’t know what to do. No thinking outside the box with her. After being seated we waited approx 7 – 8 minutes before our server showed up. She took out drink order and we told her we were ready to order our food and she didn’t want to do that. She said«let me get your drinks and get my pad to write down your order» Well … About 10 minutes later she came back with out drinks. I was just about done at that point and really was ready to take a walk and go somewhere else. We waited it out … Bad decision … Wrong salad brought to table. Then my ribs were crazy dry. My glass went empty a few times. Over all just not a good visit. I can’t say I won’t be back but it will be a tough decision.

We just had dinner there this evening. It was horrible. Totally unimpressive. I got the Battered fish and shrimp with fries and a cup of clam chowder. The only thing that was hot was the soup and it was not very good. The battered shrimp, fish and the fries were just warm, not hot and definitely not proper serving temperature. Our server never came back to ask if everything was ok and never refreshed my ice tea. We over herd the table next to us complain that their food was also not hot and service was bad. I will never go back.

Well I figured I’d give this O’Charlies a second try. Big mistake. Very slow out of the kitchen… chicken and fish entrees both only warm and very unappetizing. Avoid this pkace like the plague.

The restaurant has 86b on the board I can see why, called Allen the GM he did nothing but make excuses the bartender used his hand no gloves to add fruit to drinks which is on most all of the drinks, after touching computer/cash/cards…The(bartender) wiped his hands on the back of his pants each time. Told the GM most places use tongs/gloves fork anything but fingers. I can only hope his nails are clean his hands can’t be after taking money! Oh by the way stay clear of the crab cakes! If they do this at the bar in front of clients I hate to think of what go on in the back out of site?

This Snellville location keeps getting worse and worse. We come, don’t come back for a while, revisit and its worse. Service is soooooo slow. Salad was gross, slimy and all brown. Salmon was hot and good but the rice pilaf was cold and just a congealed clump. Keep you 20% off coupons. Not even worth a discount. Update: Haven’t been back yet but want to thank Alan, general manager at this location, for reaching out to us to try to make this right. We appreciate his concern for the experience we had and his willingness to take these issues into account to improve customer relations. A rare thing these days! Thanks, Alan!

We stopped in for dinner(we never eat at O’charleys) and sever was rude after I politely told her I ordered grilled chicken on my salad not fried. She looked at me and said«That’s not what you told me.» I don’t eat fried chicken, I believe I know what I ordered. Don’t care to come back here.

Service was slow and we had to wait 15 minutes just to get silverware. The loaded potato soup would be better named velveeta soup. I’m not impressed.

This is one of my favs but they took 15 minutes to take our drink orders. Smh. It wasn’t even busy. It was 4pm on a Tuesday None the less. After getting over that hurdle, I ordered my favorite salad in the universe, the southern pecan with salmon. My boo wanted the spinach artichoke dip so I helped him out with that! Lol. The dip was on point! Creamy & full of spinach. Best of all it wasn’t salty. When my salad came out I couldn’t wait to dig in. Good thing I didn’t dig too deep. THEMIDDLEOFTHESALMONWASRAW! I stayed calm. Didn’t want to create a scene. Today. So I calmly called over our server. He actually took the uncooked salmon & had the chef fire me up a brand new piece! Wow! Talk about customer service! The 2nd piece looked way better than the first. It was also busting with flavor & fully cooked. I was pleased. I will try this location again.

Had a great dinner at this place. When you come in ask for Devarus to be your server. He gave us the beast service we have had for a long time. Thank you Devarus.

(brace urself, i wrote a lot :) So I’ve never been here but had food from here courtesy of the wonderful pharmaceutical reps that stopped by for lunch at my old job… and they brought steaks for lunch so it was very good, no complaints my man and I decided to stop here for dinner otw home with the kids(or else it was Wendy’s) we sat down right away… our sever, I forgot his name but he was great and really friendly. I liked him off the bat. I felt like he knows what’s good on the menu… he offered us drinks. at first he said«what would u like to drink? strawberry lemonade, pink lemonade, Pepsi…» I said strawberry lemonade for everyone(but it would’ve cost $ 4 for the kids since it wasn’t on the kids menu, no big deal just a little much for just a beverage) anyway the kids got a pink lemonade and I said all this to say I trusted his judgment with the drinks and was not satisfied ATALL… it came in a fancy glass but tasted like overly carbonated strawberry fizz bleh! I only drunk it because i was thirsty from eating all that damn bread! so we got new drinks… so its time to order and the menu just didn’t have a lot of choices… ocharleys they are famous for their chicken tenders but I can get that at chick fil A/Zaxby’s.so I was deciding between shrimp scampi pasta and blackened cajun chicken pasta. to b continued…

I used to be a regular patron of this particular location. My fiancé loved their endless soup lunch deal. Until recently. They used to ask her If she wanted a soup or salad to go. Well she asked today if she could get one to go, and they told her that the server couldn’t pack it to go for her. Which would be fine, except that when she asked for the manager, the manger said that that is stealing(which is basically accusing my fiancé of stealing). It was explained that it had been done before, and the manger says. «Then whiever did it should be fired». Needless to say, I shall not be setting foot in this O’Charley’s ever again. Unless that manager is fired

Horrible server. They have great service because I witnessed it all around me. Our server was just horrible and full empty promises and lacked customer awareness. Next visit I will definitely ask not to be served by her. Note to self: say no to Jessica. Pecan pie not peach!!! Omg. Going back to Lawrenceville next Wed!!!

Really bad to go service. Christina didn’t check the order so we got home without the sides we asked for. She and the manager could have cared less! And that was with a 20‰ tip! Tread lightly when you order to go.

Food was good, only negative was that our glasses were dirty on the outside. I believe our server wasn’t washing his hands frequently.

Slow service, food was cold, so disappointing– we usually enjoy O’Charley’s but not today– we actually served ourselves our own drinks– so sad–

I personally do not enjoy eating at corporate restaurants so I’m trying to not be biased with my review. However the 2 times I have gone to this ocharleys the service has been very slow in the entrees take a very long time to come out. This is something to keep in mind in case you are on a short lunch break and want something to eat. The food is okay nothing to rave about.

Went in for a late lunch today and order one of the specials… chicken Cajun pasta with a house salad. The house salad was about 9 pieces of wilted lettuce with a couple of soft cherry tomatoes. I took a bite and a half and put it to the side. Seemed like it may have been left from last night’s service. The chicken pasta was OK but the portion seemed small. I would have went home hungry if not for the yeast rolls. Service was OK. First time I’ve been to this location… the ocharley’s I go to over by Gwinnett Medical seems to be better.

I grew on this place when I lived in Snell-vegas. Birthdays, anniversaries, random Tuesdays and so on. I haven’t been to an O’Charley’s since July 2012, but I expected the same olé same olé from years of experience here. Nope. Things have changed at good olé O’Charley’s. First off, the giant wall mural is gone. GONE! That’s what O’Charley’s was known for, their giant wall murals depicting local history and culture. Now it had some gray paisley design. Also, the booths were different, different upholstery, different designs and now they have round booths. They’re trying sooo hard to be hip. We came during the after-church brunch rush hour and didn’t feel like waiting 35 minutes for one of their cool, new booths, so we opted for a high top table near the bar. Here’s where they lose a star… the table was dirty. It was bussed, but it wasn’t wiped down. We didn’t want to lose the table, so we sat at it anyway with quiet of bit of food debris. It’s like the previous patrons decided to eat without their hands. Somehow, a chunk of tomato was found on the glass partition. Several servers walked by, acknowledged our presence with the custom head-nod, and walked on. It was like they were thinking, «if we don’t acknowledge the dirty table, maybe they won’t notice either.» Finally, our server showed up and wiped down our table. And by wiped down, I mean he just took a disposable wet wipe from the bar and knocked everything on the floor. Totally frat-tastic. My sister and I ordered some water with extra lemon, my mom ordered some Chardonnay. When he brought the drinks, my sister and I ordered the Georgia Peach Tea drink, I forget the exact name, but it had a lot of booze in it. It was pretty good, you could taste the alcohol, but it wasn’t overbearing. Good splash of flavor and sweetness. I could have drank several more, but we were in a crowd of do-gooder church folk. Our appetizer, spinach and artichoke dip, came out before the rolls. Blasphemy! The rolls are integral to O’Charley’s, and should have arrived at our table before the appetizer, heck, maybe even before drinks. The rolls, the soft, fresh and hot rolls served with whipped butter are to die for. I’ve honestly come here for just the rolls before and left. Sorry I’m not sorry. I ordered the California Chicken Salad, sister for the Apple Spinach salad thing and my mom ordered the French Dip with coleslaw. I’m not too sure how long we waited for food because my Peach Tea kept my busy. Plus, we caught up on a lot of girl talk(aka gossip). My salad was pretty good. Mandarin oranges, strawberries, candied pecans with a nice balsamic dressing. It wasn’t the best salad ever, but good enough to justify the price(which I forgot, sorry guys!). My sister is on some health binge, so she picked everything off her salad and just ate the baby spinach. Didn’t even eat the bacon! No one should ever waste bacon. My mom ate half her French dip and all her coleslaw, so I assume it was good? She isn’t much for talking, so I’m not sure. Oh yeah! They now have«craft beer» at O’Charley’s. And by «craft,» they mean Redd’s Hard Apple Cider. What a tease! It’s like they want to be cool and hip, but are afraid of it. We were there for a hour and half and never felt rushed, despite the lunch crowd. I don’t know the total bill, because my sweet mama paid for it, but she’s very frugal, so I assume it wasn’t TOO bad. Fun Fact: O’Charley’s now owns Stoney River. Who knew?
