I like Sears. I just bought a new mattress here and I love it… The person that helped me was Brian. I would ask for him. He helped me get it delivered in a different day than originally scheduled… Oh and I like the selection. Very clean displays

I can’t recommend you shop here. Sears has been after a larger profit margin for years and has resorted to using dishonest sales tactics. If you shop here they will hand you a stack of coupons to try and bring you back in to buy more. However, the coupons are full of fine print so they can avoid giving the promised discount. I attempted returning an item I purchased within a few days with the gift receipt they gave me and Sears would not refund cash. The local store will not accept returns after 30 days; NOEXCEPTIONS! Additionally, the merchendise can be very cheaply made. I do like the tool area, but they have rubbed me the wrong way too many times. I do not trust Sears, the Company is not customer service oriented.

I had to wait several months to review this one because I was so disgusted. I thought that maybe after I cooled down, I could be a bit more objective but the horror story began when my husband and his parents purchased a refrigerator for their condo. On the delivery date we were there to help supervise and it was good we were, because the father and son team that delivered this did not know what they were doing. I felt so sorry for the father, he was not the problem. However the son was this rude arrogant spoiled brat that yelled at my father in law and his own dad. Until my husband got involved. Lets just say short of calling the police, and the delivery company taking off with the refrigerator half in and half out, not leveled and half installed,(and when the son was having trouble getting it in the door, he lifted it by the door — NO, yanked it, and damaged it) is why ONESTAR is too much! Sears came and picked up their refrigerator and we opted to take them to Idlers where they will purchase all future appliances, as we have since moving here for the last twenty years. Their service is stellar as well as their delivery and installation which is actually Idler’s own employees! As for Sears, once we started talking about our experience, other stories jumped out of the woodwork at us, all sounding as if the same delivery team delivered to them. The last story I heard, prompted me to Unilocal our story so that buyers may beware!

This place is really gross. I don’t know what happened. The staff literally sits on the counter and ignores you. When you work up the courage to ask them a question, be prepared to feel like you are being a jerk and an inconvenience. If they don’t have something, they won’t try to figure out a solution for you. Try to go anywhere else but here. If you HAVE to go here, just don’t…there has to be a better alternative.
