Smyrna has good restaurants in this great town however, last night I had the pleasure of eating at Hickory Falls and without question, it is the most enjoyable place I have eaten at in this awesome little town. My fiancé and I were greeted by the hostess who immediately took us to our table. About 45 seconds later we were greeted by our server who took our order for drinks and gave us a few minutes to look over the menu. Our drinks were brought to us within two minutes after our server took our order and she returned with drinks and hot dinner rolls and honey butter. She(server) knew the menu well and told us about the specials. The menu was well categorized in sections such as steaks, sandwiches, seafood, salads and so on. My fiancé ordered sirloin steak, well done with a salad and baked potato. I ordered the fall off the bone BBQ ribs. The salad was crisp and delicious, I had a piece of my fiances well done steak and it was the most tender well done meat I have ever tried. My ribs were as advertised, «fall off the bone ribs» as my knife was untouched throughout the evening. My fork ran through the ribs like warm butter. Flavor: Delicious Price: More affordable than some of the larger restaurant chains and the food is not as good as at Hickory Falls.

We’ve been several times. The brunch isn’t worth the $. The very best item on the menu is the carrot cake. It’s truly to die for.

Nice casual atmosphere and very reasonable prices. Good service and food. Fish tacos were great but little messy… just right amount of heat. Big juicy burgers and plenty of fries. Will be back when in area… lots of newer stores and shopping there.

I’ve been dining at Hickory Falls since I moved to Smyrna from Nashville, six years ago. Everything I’ve sampled has been delicious. A favorite dish is the salmon. Garlic mashed potatoes are great and their warm carrot cake is to die for! A very warm and relaxing atmosphere with nice low lighting. Service is good but the food is better!

This was a great place! We had the rattlesnake pasta, the BBQ platter and the carrot cake for dessert. The food was fabulous. The atmosphere and service were also great. We sat at the bar and our bartender, Dana was the bomb. dot com. Highly recommended.

Staff was extremely friendly. Food was perfect. Very nice inside. We loved it here. We’re from out of town and always look for a local place and this was it. Burger and chicken was delicious. If we head back this way again we will definitely come back

This place is amazing!!! Great menu! I chose the Rattlesnake Chicken. My husband had the Beef Medallions. The food was served very quickly. It was delicious! The Rattlesnake Chicken is nice and spicy! The Medallions came on garlic mashed potatoes that were yummy! Prices are reasonable and the service is excellent.

Let me start by saying for all of the restaurants(mainly chain/fast food) on Sam Ridley parkway Hickory Falls is definitely one of the better choices. The atmosphere is hard to explain but it just seems like a cool place right when you walk in. The entire staff is very nice right from when you walk in to when you are leaving making sure you had a good experience. The one complaint I do have though is sometimes the food may take a little while to come out but it’s not so bad that it makes me not want to come again. Food wise I would recommend any of their burgers, salads or pasta. Today I had the«Bunkhouse Burger» and it was delicious. I felt extremely full and satisfied when I finished the meal. This is also a good place to take a group of 4 – 6 people for business meetings or get togethers. I definitely recommend going to Hickory Falls!

I enjoyed my meal but it wasn’t what I was expecting. The service was amazing however, the food didn’t live up to the hype that my colleagues sold me on. The cowboy ribeye was ok at best but the Caesar salad was very good. I’m not sure that I’ll return to this place next time I’m in town

When I am back home in Smyrna, this is the one restaurant where I meet friends or take my family. The quality and quantity of the food here always is exceptional, and the wine and beer options also are impressive. I always love anything on the menu, but I particularly was impressed recently with the luscious grilled pork chops. The service is friendly and attentive, and you can’t beat the hot rolls. If you’re in Smyrna, go.

Fish tacos were very good — well seasoned, grilled fish rather than a fish stick thrown in a tortilla. But there were only two little tacos, which isn’t enough for lunch. Clam chowder was unusual in a good way. Service was attentive. The place was quite noisy considering it was a thin crowd. I’d hate to be here when it’s busy.

All things considered, this was a pretty good find. The food was moderately priced and the turn around time from placing the order until it arrived at the table was impressive. I had the pork loin. It wasn’t the finest cut by any shape or fashion but again, considering where the type of place it was it was pretty good. Great for families or business lunches.

Times like this I wish Unilocal had ½ stars because I feel like this place is a 3 ½. But 3 says«A-OK» and that’s pretty much how I feel about it, so that’s what I’m going with. My boyfriend and I came here on Sunday morning for brunch. They open at 10:30 and we got here shortly after so it was pretty dead. But our waitress was super friendly, checked back often, and did everything she was supposed to do. My boyfriend opted for the mimosas(which they have, but aren’t on the menu) and the taste was eh. They have a pretty limited menu for brunch, with about 10 – 12 options with some a la carte stuff too. My boyfriend got the ham and cheese omelette, and it was basically just ham and cheese, although he did say that the grits he got with it were pretty good. I opted for the Hickory Falls omelette which had Italian sausage, onion, red pepper, and herb cream cheese. It was pretty tasty although I had to take some of the cream cheese off because there was quite a bit and it was a little overkill. The skillet potatoes that came with it were pretty good too. There aren’t many places for breakfast/brunch in the Smyrna area(aside from Sonic and Waffle House) so this was a nice change. I’d like to go back at night and see how their dinner menu compares to the brunch(since it seems like a lot of people enjoy that) and to check out the $ 2 margaritas they have on Thursdays. Definitely a place I would visit again.
