Excellent meal. Our new go-to for Indian food. Great service, but the star is the food.

Fantastic and surprising twist on some of my favorite south Indian dishes. Perfect combination of sweetness with fresh tomato sauce and heat. Aloo gobi is a must try here. The sweets are fresh. The service was good too. Great team work. Food was brought out as it was prepared. A must try. couture for the tongue. BOW!

The food was SOGOOD and authentic. Great portions for the price! It doesn’t feel«cool» inside which is the only thing keeping it from being a five, but the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. We had the Tikka Masala and would definitely get it again.

Food is great. They give you big portions. What they lack in decoration they make up for with their food

The only thing that stops this from being a five-star review is the overall ambience of the place. I know Bollywood seeing is a work in progress. I know they still have to finish and decorate. It is clear they are putting their energy into their food. The food itself was outstanding. Not as greasy as other Indian food competitors. It was very tasty and spicy, without being overbearingly hot. I had a combination plate with half-portions of two different entrees. I chose the Saag Paneer and the Paneer Tikka Masala. My gf had the Chicken Tikka Masala. That Tikka sauce is amazingly good. All three things were excellent. Portion size was adequate, and the price point seemed more reasonable than other Indian restaurants. The remodel of this place is a work in progress.(Albeit, maybe a slow work in progress.) Allegedly there will be a bar. And there is already a private room attached to the restaurant which will hold up to 50 people. So apart from the décor(when the food is good, the décor really does become a back-burner issue), my only other critical observation is that the hostess could probably use an actual Bollywood Zing T-shirt. I will happily return to this place. Holler if you’re coming with.

Wow. I would never have stopped here, as it’s turned over mgt so many times. I read reviews, however, and saw 5s; so I decided to try. I was the only person in the restaurant. When I walked in, I looked around and got depressed. Very dated, unappealing. And very cold. No heat was on, and it was in the 40s outside. The food, however, was another story. The naan was some of the best I’ve ever had. Chicken masala and dal mahkini was fantastic. Raita was great: I could see is was homemade, with good amount of yogurt, onion, cucumber and black pepper. A great meal! Owner very kind, professional. He was forthcoming that he has planned a full redecorating project for the place. Plus, they just got liquor license. There is hope. With the food being as good as it was, if they can update interior, get the menu off of a plastic sheet, get new furniture, glassware, and get the bar up and running, they have a chance. My recommendation: don’t pass this place up if you want fantastic Indian food. Maybe take out is best. Just not a comfortable place to sit and eat. I hope they make the cosmetic changes. It won’t make it without them. ¾/16– so went in for buffet again. Just as owner stated, they completed their cosmetic re-do. Clean, colorful, got their liquor license. The also have a modern banquets room. The buffet was more appealing with the new décor. Some of the best naan and raita I’ve ever had. Owner is very customer-focused, and wants to make this restaurant successful. So, I moved it to 5 from 4 stars. 5÷10÷16. It gets better. New décor, very friendly staff. Now with a newer looking main dining room with a separate private dinner area. Calming colors, tile floor. Updated. Same great food. If you don’t want the long wait at Swapna, go to BZ. The food is fantastic and no wait. Great buffet as well. I think this location finally has smart, talented owners. My favorite Indian in the area.

I had a serious craving for Indian food. Did a quick search in the area and found this tasty spot. What it lacks in décor it definitely makes up for in flavor. We started with some appetizers. I had the veggie samosas were spicy and crisp, much spicier than I expected but the sweet sauce it was served with helped to balance out the spice. The hubs got the chicken 65, light and crispy served with a side of spicy sauce, we didn’t need it. For our main dishes I got the Tikka Masala and he got the Tandoori chicken. The Tikka was exactly what I had been craving; tender, creamy, and loaded with flavor. The server told me It could be ordered to the level of spice you like, I think I went with mild. The tandoori chicken was tender and flavorful. I love all the spice and flavor of Indian food. Reasonably priced and definitely worth a visit. They also offer an $ 8.99 lunch buffet Tuesday-Friday.

So excited to find a solid Indian restaurant in the Smyrna/Vinings area! Hidden in the HH Gregg shopping center, this place is totally worth checking out. The food was INCREDIBLE and the prices are super affordable. Highly recommend the tikka masala and samosa chaat. Super friendly staff, and they offer a lunch buffet Tuesday through Sunday. We will definitely be back!

First Impressions: — It lacks character. There are no decorations of any kind on the walls or furniture. — I was seated immediately by a very friendly waiter. — The lighting is weird. They have a mix of bulb color temps in their can lights. Feels odd. The Menu: — They have a large assortment of items to choose from on the menu. — Vegan items are clearly marked. The Service: — Slow. Very very slow. Appetizer took 25 min to come out. Only one other table had people at it so it was not because they were backed up. — To drink I ask for water with lemon and got lime. That’s ok cause I like both but it’s not what I ordered. — The waiter was always friendly and nice. The Food: — Outstanding. Worth the wait. — If you ask them to make it extra spicy they will and it is hot. No mamby pamby slight heat. Nice and hot. To wrap it up… yes I’d go back again. The food is that good. I’ll just take a book next time to bide my time while I wait for the food.

Delicious, authentic Indian food at good prices?! Yes please! I have swung by Bollywood Zing twice now for lunch, and it is great. I used to live in Delhi, and the samosas are spot on — they taste like the real thing in India moreso than any other samosa I have had outside of India. I haven’t tried the lunch buffet, but my coworkers love it. Their kathi roll is spot-on too! If you see their food truck out and about in town make sure to stop and try it — you won’t be disappointed!

sad state of affairs. Amazing they can pay the rent. 12:15pm on a thursday only one customer. walked it, sign said please wait to be seated but there werent any employees around. Waited a bit then walked toward the kitchen and opened the door. Hello i say twice. One guy playing on his phone doesnt look up. Finally a man shows up and says sit wherever. I check out the lunch buffet, all the items are covered. I open one and its empty, another is rice another is empty. Waiter asks if i want fresh dosa. I tell him forget it and leave

New owners and décor, and offers a party room. There is even a buffet for the group. Seriously was impressed with the food! So authentic. Very distinct from previous management. While there are other places around, I will definitely come here! The food is more what I like-spicy! The bullet naan is so yummy! We ordered the pani poori and aloo ghobi. Both were well made. The presentation, flavor, and price all get high honors!

This is a horrible place to go. Ordered one of the chaat items and probably only ingredients they have is yogurt and red chilli. Called back but still horrible service. Summary: horrible place, horrible service and horrible food. Very bad. I don’t know how they they think to be good enough to be operating a restaurant which is a literal culinary art.

Yea… no thanks. The lunch buffet is very generous for $ 9, and comes with naan bread or a monstrous dosa. The waitress holding it down was great and attentive. So what could go wrong? Well, the Indian food is one of the most underwhelming I’ve ever had, save for the tandoori chicken. You can find much, MUCH better in Atlanta(hell, Swapna is but a few seconds away). Sad face.

The prices are pretty steep for Indian food AND food trucks — they charge about $ 9 – 10 for Indian dishes like Chicken Tikka Masala. And every time I look inside, I don’t see any Indian staff … however it’s worth a visit esp. If the other trucks have long lines. This one usu. has no lines. SAMOSACHAAT — $ 6 Well since I refuse to pay $ 9 – 10 for food that may not taste authentic — I go for the cheapest. I also happen to love chaat. If you’re adventurous and never had Indian food, you should try this. If you like sweet & spicy, you should try this. It’s actually pretty good. Two samosas topped with chana masala(chickpeas), tomatoes, and combo of chutneys and spices. CHAATPAPDI — $ 6 I also tried this one b/c it was«just» $ 6 :) Menu read«Crispy chips topped with potatoes(missing in action), onions, tomatoes(also missing in action), chickpeas, yogurt, cilantro and tamarind» — however it was mostly onions, chips and chickpeas. I did like the sweet flavors and the crunchy texture. Yeah so I’ll probably only try their $ 6 items. My name is Frugal Foodie after all :)
