Great Indian Restaurant, the food was pretty good and Raj provided the best customer service. I highly recommend you check this place out

New menu head greatly improved. Wonderful flavors and very polite service. Definitely should revisit and try the new dishes.

Last time I was in I received burnt samosas and the wrong naan. Usually their food is pretty good, though spicier than many other Indian restaurants in the metro area. The portions are the right size for me to eat, though I think they should he a bit larger for the price. They change their name pretty often to appeal to the demographic around the new stadium(is my guess). I believe they are now sitara.

Went there on a Thursday night, and there was one waiter for the entire floor(of 6 – 7 tables that were occupied). He was too overwhelmed and the guy who was supposed to pick up the dishes(judging from his clothes) was serving the Papads. I am not sure how safe that is. We sat there for 45 minutes eating the papads and when the order didn’t come, we were left with no option as it was already around 10, but to go to the Burger King across the street.

This place used to be sri Krishna, came there several times and the food was good. Its now wild roots. The buffet was decent, way better than swapna imo. It was a nice spread on buffet. I like they had goat. This is would be a good introduction to indian food for those who are curious without breaking the bank. The service needs an improvement, I hated waiting for a refill on the sweet tea. The buffet area was clean and kept up. The restaurant is always clean and comfortable when I come here. I appreciated that they had times labeled on how long the food has been out and when it was going to get tossed. The food looked appetizing, it needed a little more salt and heat in some dishes but that’s just my particular preferences.

0 stars… Worst customer service… Have to wait for whole day for single dosa… Server replying rudely if we ask how long it will take for a dosa…

I went yesterday and picked up to go buffet. The food went in the trash. No flavor, only chili powder. The service is poor, only two people doing everything including checkout. There were probably 60 customers, many waiting by the bar for food to come out. I waited an additional 15 minutes to get naan. So much potential but lacking in basic customer service skills and they must have a new cook that is not doing well. I loved coming here in the past, so please get it together.

A decent place that can easily be a 4 if they only focus on their service. From the moment we were seated it was clear that the service won’t be great. But it’ll be this horrible we didn’t expect. First of all they have a full bar but no wine menu. The server told us the wine options but it was done in such a hurried manner that we barely got any word. Finally when we did get our wines they were either put in a non controlled temperate or were watered down. Either way the taste was horrible. Why 2 stars after such bad service? Well the food was great. Adequate proportions and rich with flavors. We ordered the tikka plate with chicken and fish. Was cooked well and had a good flavors working. The chicken chettinad was also a well prepared dish. Either way, they really do need to update their service.

Great food. Kim our waitress took time to explain the menu and was very gracious with our large party. One of the best Indian restaurants we have eaten in. We will definitely eat there again when we return to Atlanta.

Food was okay. Tandoori chicken was fried not cooked in a tandoor. The waitress argued about the menu pricing and ended up over charging us. Service was terrible. They do South Indian food better than the rest. Stick with that if you have to go here. Service was very awkward and over all terrible.

The place is good and well maintained. I would have given it a 4 if not for the impious check out that I faced. He was a grudge and didn’t ring my check well first time. So he plainly said«I need your card»!i asked him why and he was like«card». And I asked did it not ring well and he said yes. What a way to handle customers ! Gave this a 3 for the food. Much better than mint leaf down the road. Wish they learn a bit of customer service.

Wonderful first experience. I love Indian vegetarian dishes and the suggestion made was excellent. Kim was very helpful! Had papadam which was freshly made and delicious with yummy side sauces and Khorma veggie dish. I will be back again soon!

I visited Wild Roots yesterday with my coworkers for a holiday outing. We had a large group and arrived when the restaurant opened, so we had a good look at all of the food that is available. Wild Roots has some flaws, but overall it is a better option than Swapna down the street. First, Wild Roots was previously known as Sri Krishna Vilas. I asked one of the employees why the name had changed and he said it was an attempt to differentiate the product and appeal to the area’s desire for fresh food. He said that he hoped visitors to the baseball stadium would be more interested in the Western-sounding name. I guess I understand where he is coming from, but I’m not sure that«wild roots» really differentiate the style of Indian food that is presented. Wild Roots offers a standard Indian buffet experience. On the positive side, they have a number of good vegetarian options. I was impressed with the overall selection. The food seemed fresh and was hot. Again, this is a welcome contrast to Swapna, just down the road. Wild Roots had twice the amount of food available at a cheaper price. The food tasted good. I liked that some of the dishes had a more authentic sense of spiciness that is lacking in Americanized Indian food. Don’t misunderstand — this is still very much an American experience, but the food was far less watered down than what you would get elsewhere. The interior is also pleasantly decorated and a nice visual appeal. I would rate Wild Roots with four stars based on the food, but there were a few oddities that dropped it down to three. First, the whole room has far too much of an incense smell. It was STRONG and gave me a little bit of a headache. It was stuffy and unpleasant. They really need to tone that stuff down. Second, the staff had trouble keeping our group hydrated. We needed more water, but the staff would stand aside talking rather than keep glasses refilled. I understand that it was a big group, but we had a reservation and they should have planned appropriately. Plus, we needed a little more water since the food had more spice. Finally, there was one bizarre inconsistency in the décor. The door to the kitchen was full of holes and had a giant chunk of the bottom ripped off. It looked like someone had punched it over and over, or that it had been in a shoot-out or something. It was beaten up beyond repair. I mention this because everything else in the restaurant was immaculate! Why did they leave this beaten up old door in place? I pointed it out to my coworkers and everyone thought it was really strange and funny. Sure, it’s not a big deal, but come on… you can get a new door! Overall, this place is pretty good. I wouldn’t say it was the best, but it’s cheap and the food was good. Get rid of the incense, replace your broken doors, and get a few more staff members on water duty(or leave carafes at the table) and you’ll be in better shape.

The one star is for my experience, since I really cannot give a review of the food. When we entered we were told there would be a 10 minute wait(although there were plenty of tables and booths available). After 10 minutes, the guy at the counter told us that there was no more food — that the trays were empty. This was at lunch time, during peak lunch buffet hours(1:00PM). We left and went to Mint Leaf. I must say that I have been unable to find a decent Indian Buffet in the Atlanta Metro area — and was hoping to try this one out.

Same restaurant as Sri Krishna Vilas, new owners I guess. Pretty similar buffet. Food was at least as good, maybe a little better. Much better than mint leaf down the street. Pretty standard Indian buffet, but well executed. Only negative was very strong incense.
