Whats not to love? Its a historical landmark in Smithfield, originally purchased by Ava Gardner’s brother in 1959. A sign inside says «Coldest Beer in Johnston County» and I do believe it! The place is full of friendly folks enjoying a cold one in the main building bar, the screened porch, or out on the deck near the Neuse River. I hear the pizzas are good and the jukebox is always playing. Nice Place.

This is a one of a kind place. Definite local dive. I came up with the bridal party from my buddies wedding for the after after party and had a blast. Tiny location, beer only, great service. This place is great. It’s basically the «Richard’s» from Mt. Pleasant relocated to Smithfield. Not that anyone who has been to one will likely ever see the other, haha.

A great place to see locals who have grown up in Smithfield. Cold beer and a jukebox is your entertainment. Smoking outside in a covered attached pourch. A few TV’S are inside for viewing sporting events.

Ridgefield, NJ
Is a historic landmark. A local hang out spot. They only service beer. They have awesome pizza. I’m not gonna lie is tombstone pizza on steroids but it taste damn good with a cold beer. Place has a indoor smoking heated area. See it for yourself.
