The Woodhouse Day Spa – Slidell

This always seems to happen to me at this location. I make an appointment well in advance of the day. The day before they call me to change the time. I say ok, and adjust my whole day. Then I get a call and several text messages with another time. I show up at that time and I am kept waiting. this time it was 30 min. They charge you if you are late or miss an appt. but they offer you nothing if they screw up.
I am so glad that I will be using the NOLA location from now on.

HORRIBLE. facialist was a NO SHOW yet they let me sit n quiet room like a dummy. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. and not one apology. REALLY DEPLORABLE. will not be back, and i’ve gone for years.

Love this place. I find them no more or less expensive for comparable services in the area but with MUCH better amenities than going to someplace which doesn’t offer robes, heated massage tables, doesn’t use linens. AND a quiet room (which more people need to be mindful of on a busy Saturday) to sit and relax whilst drinking tea or ice water in REAL glassware with a hot wrap around your neck. I just wish I could afford to go more often.

I’ve been here a few times since moving to Slidell and the experience was great each time. The front staff is very polite and helpful. I’ve seen three different individuals for my services and each one, while having very different styles, was amazing. I intend to return at least once every month or so. The only negative I noticed is that a few of the lockers in the male changing room have locks that don’t work. It’s generally not an issue, as the clientele is mostly female (so you are often the only male there).

The volcanic stone massage changed my life ;) I had previously visited the woodhouse in new orleans and I enjoyed a sweedish massage there. While it was pleasant, i will come to the slidell location from now on. It is easy to get to and the prices are lower. I got the volcanic stone massage in slidell for the same price of a regular sweedish massage at the canal st location in new orleans. Haley was my massage therapist and she was very professional and attentive to my needs, as i have some accident injuries. I wish i could go everyday! The only reason i don’t give it a 5-​star is the location would be better in a more secluded area. The shopping center it’s can get a little crowded. Don’t let that deter you though. Once you get inside, it’s well worth it.

Great for a party… great for relaxing and one of my favorite places. Their prices are waaaaaaaaaay cheaper then the spas in New Orleans and trust me the experience is worth the drive! xoxo

Got a 90 minute massage!!! Swedish massage. It was amazing!!! Parking is in a small lot. But other than that. This place is super nice!!!

I think this is my go-​to place for massages now.
First, Woodhouse is really relaxing inside with the dark wood décor and it just smells like a spaaahh ;) The prices aren’t too bad, considering the use of the locker room and shower and that they provide plush comfy robes and comfy sandals for your treatment. It more than what I used to pay in the OC. but there are so many massage places out there that they have to offer competitive prices.
Yesterday was my first massage there. a deep tissue massage. I won’t tell you who my massage therapist was. I don’t want to have to «wait» for him/​her for my next appointment. BUT, I’m sure they are all really good. Mine was GREAT! I LOVE a really deep tissue with a strong pressure and this is what I got! I also had a coupon for a comp scalp massage which was HEAVEN! They also used some lavender aromatherapy oil which I loved. The massage table was really comfy and was heated which felt really nice. After your treatment, you can use the locker room which has one shower stall — which seems to be clean (REALLY IMPORTANT!).
Everyone there is really nice. Try to arrive at least 15 minute before your appointment time so that you can change in the locker room and use the quiet room — and relax.
Overall, a great spa!

Great relaxing place. I was thinking today that anything they feels this good must be a sin but I’m ok with that. I’ve been to massage places before but nowhere like this. The first time I had the classic facial which was lovely. Amanda did fantastic job and my face felt fresh and smooth. When you go in the smells are relaxing. You get a robe and sandals and spend some time in the quiet room where you can have a drink and relax before your session. The lights in here are dimmed and there is tranquil music.
Today I had the prenatal massage with Hope and I felt like I could have stayed there for a long long time. It was very relaxing and this place is well worth the money. I’ve been to earthsavers before and comparing the two is like comparing mcdonalds to a five class restaurant. If you need to relax then this place is definatley worth it.

This is the place to relax! Having visited a few places advertising the same products it was a joy to come here. Welcomed at front desk, asked shoe size and then escorted to changing room with lovely plush robe and sandals and asked if I would like herb tea. All clothes and belongings locked away and then to the quiet room to relax where your tea awaits you. The person who will perform your treatments collects you from the quiet room and escorts you to the private room. This is a very peaceful and restful place to relax
