Whoa Na!
This is a brand new Dillard’s and it is impressive. Since I am a dude, I will write from a dude’s perspective, but I will also attempt to get in touch with my feminine side and explain why the ladies will like this place as well. But first, let me tell you about the store in general…
Since the store is brand new, everything is clean and functional. Dressing rooms have full length doors, mirrors, hooks to hang clothes, and even a chair to rest while trying on clothes. The store gives off a high end vibe and I liked it. Now for the different perspectives…
Dudes
Are you a dude who knows that plaid is in? Do you like to shop for clothes that stylish and actually fit your giant frame? If so, Dillard’s may be right for you. In addition to the large sections of clothes meant to fit rail thin hipsters, midgets and little boys, this store also has a large variety of clothing designed for normal, giant and manly sized dudes. This section is not just colored burlap sacks, elastic waistbanded clothing and ugly ass items, it’s all the most modern designers and styles available to tiny men as well. One thing that Dillard’s isn’t is cheap. I guess you’ve got to pay the price to get stylish clothes, but a sale every now and again would be nice. I found a fly ass shirt that would’ve made me the envy of all the middle aged dads, but the $ 225 price tag turned me off. I did score a nice burgundy plaid shirt that wasn’t cheap, but damn sure wasn’t $ 225. If you see me in it you’ll be shocked at just how stylish I look. Since I am a dude who is quite comfortable with my manliness, I will now get in touch with my feminine side and explain why I think ladies will like this store.

Oh. My. God. Look at that purse. Is that Michael Kors? Oh. My. God. Is that Coach? Oh. My. God. Is that Dooney and Bourke? I. Am. In. Purse. Overload!!!
What. Is. That. Smell??? Oh. My. God. Look at that perfume! Look at that Make Up! NAKED PALETTE!!!
That’s all I’ve got.
As you can see, this Dillard’s is an impressive place. It’s worth the drive and far better than the Metarie or other Slidell locations.
