Sweet Asian couple owns the place but they micromanage everything from what you put in the machines to the quantity of soap you use. I have to go to laundromat further away from my house to avoid this.

I have used this laundromat numerous times and no problems whatsoever. Their rates are cheaper than others in the area, especially Evanston. Respect to the owners, I always see them working so hard doing the wash & fold service. They are not rude, I think their English is a bit limited, that’s all.
They purchased this business several years ago and didn’t really change anything, yes it looks kinda old but it’s clean and all the machines work right, and they probably don’t have the money for renovations because their priority is paying rent and the bills first. Give them a break.

They’ve STOLEN two brand new hoodies of mine, which I’ll never get over– it made me cry and there’s NOTHING they would help me with other than directing to me to their DUMPSTER which was fool of clothes they’d just thrown out (instead of donating!!). Very terrible service, often RUDE without any reason to be.
Place has 2 chained down chairs and NO other available seating. I’ve never seen them clean the dryers or remove lint traps but a mere wipe down of the outside of the machines.
I have NO IDEA how this place has survived in the Skokie community, truly.
Very disappointing!
