Ann Taylor Loft

The new girl (sale associate) had so much attitude and very careless about what she was doing. First, she forgot to scan one of the return item (full price item) and after I told her, she acted so mean and not even apologized for her mistake. Second, I paid with my store credit and I asked her I want to know how much is left in my card, she wanted to refuse my request and after lots of attitude she did it! Third and the most terrible thing, she gave me an EMPTY bag filled with wrapping papers!!! She forgot!!! to put one of my purchases in the bag! After I left the store, I checked my bag and there was only some papers and nothing inside. I went back to the store and told her and also the manager (young guy) about her mistake and all the disrespectfulness. Not even THEY did apologize!!! but also the manager started yelling at me that why I’m mad about what his sales associate did to me!
They should be trained how to treat the customers!!! If it wasn’t for customers they would never be there!
Terrible experience.
Ruined our day.

Every single time I step foot in this Ann Taylor location, I regret it. I went today and walked out empty handed again. Not because I didn’t see anything cute, but because the sales staff here is so rude and disengaged. I hate to think or believe that this is racially or ethnically motivated rudeness but I’m beginning to wonder. So. I left there, went right to Woodfield where I was greeted with a smile, a hello, and an offer of assistance.

Another disappointing store in the Ann Taylor family. Maybe these locations feel that customer service isn’t needed. Why shouldn’t I break my arms and back carrying clothes, help myself to the dressing room, and leave with nothing? Plenty I would have purchased and the sale was great… BUT I will not support a manager and her team when they find no need to help customers. Absolutely terrible!!! Great disappointment for a brand that I have been loyal to. I’ll never go back.

I love Ann Taylor Loft. I always find something great and do find great sales. Great pieces for work and for going out casual.

I always shop the clearance racks! All their clothes move on predetermined cycles… so if you wait and you’re lucky enough to find that your size wasn’t sold out, you’ll get it at a bargain!
Their sales staff is super friendly and they have seating for people who are waiting for you to finish shopping. Great for the husbands! :)

Ann Taylor Loft is my new favorite store! Not only do they have great sales, but they also have fantastic sales staff.
I hit Old Orchard today in hopes of finding some new clothes for work. I’m a bargain shopper and find it difficult to pay full price at most places because I can almost always find a good deal. After stopping in two of my usual shops, and finding very little that fit well and was reasonably priced, I decided that Ann Taylor Loft would be my last stop. I hit the jackpot!
The clearance section is well organized and sales staff still stopped to ask me if I needed help, even though I was only shopping in the clearance section. That’s unheard of in most other stores. Once I found a few items to try on, the same sales person let me know in the fitting room that she would be happy to help me find different sizes if needed.
In the end, I walked out with two wool (lined) suits, a pair of lined wool pants, a bracelet, and four coupons for future use, all for about $ 200.
This was such a pleasant experience that I left with a bounce in my step and a smile on my face: True retail therapy.
