Great ambience, location, very friendly servers. I was there for a lunch and was perhaps the only guy in jeans, it appears that it’s a popular place for office goers. I ordered bruschettas and lentil-chick pea soup. The bruschettas were simply amazing(esp. if you like the blue cheese), very unique way of making it. Will go there again just for it. The soup came with about 6 slices of small-sized(but enough) bread, although the soup was great, I could have used some spice and little more salt(which you can add separately ;-) In summer it has great outdoor sitting arrangement. One thinh though, it’s not very obvious where exactly the restaurant it. You gotta keep your vigilant eyes open.

Great offerings for organic/locally sourced/free range eats. Outdoor dining by the river adds nice ambiance. Servers are incredibly friendly. Beer and wine only.

The place was nearly empty at 7 pm on a Monday but I could tell they were less than enthused about our party of 3 which included a 3-year-old. They tried to seat us as far away from other diners as possible, but did accommodate us when we asked to be moved to a booth. The food was just ok. We both had burgers which were pretty good. The red potatoes we had as a side were quite tough, while the onions were burned black. My son had the kids pizza which was about the equivalent of Totino’s party pizza for $ 6. The overall dining experience was fine. It’s just hard to enjoy yourself when you feel unwelcome. It might be a very nice place to go out on date night, but there are better options for family dining.

BUGS! Yes folks bugs in the food… We’ve been there a few times and it’s been average at best, limited menu, minimal flavors and no variety… well except the little ladies’ salad which came with EXTRAPROTEIN! A CRICKET! and a big one too… Amazing how staff could assemble an entire salad and not notice a big black cricket… sickening… So if the awful food wasn’t enough to keep you away maybe the general lack of hygiene will… pathetic…

As a vegan there was not much as far as fine dinning in the Sioux Falls area. Wild Sage Grille was a nice relief. While I was there I had a black bean burger with a side of grilled red potato and some white bean veggie soup. It was soo yummy. The place has nice seating, nice atmosphere, and most of all a nice wait staff. The menu is quite unique as well but rather limited for herbivores but that is par for the area.
