What a find! Traveling on a cross-country road trip we found this amazing Taphouse! The beer selection– great! The burgers(I had mushroom burger) — super great! The bourbon/whiskey selection rivaled the Louisville Bourbon Trail(a stop in our road trip!) I had a Makers Mark 46 as a reminiscence of our tour– yum! Service was fantastic, very nice atmosphere, the music was subdued, but fun & I LOVE the lighting. I was there on a Tuesday, so it was sparse, but not vacant. I can imagine it gets busy on the weekends, but Worth It!

The tots with cheese inside were awesome. Total diamond in the rough… surrounded by bad chain fast food restaurants, this is the place to go for a quick delish never. A little dark.

«And if thou gaze long into an abyss, the abyss will also gaze into thee» To me, this means that when you experience something, you will forever be affected and never be the same. The chili-cheese fries at Taphouse 41.

Went there with my husband while visiting the city on the recommendation of a bartender from another restaurant. They didn’t disappoint! Like the theme, loved the food.

I recently returned to Sioux Falls and ate here on April 25th. Although the selection of beer and bourbon is as good as ever, it would appear that food standards have slipped. Prices have stayed the same, but it seems that they have stopped cooking their burgers to order. My party ordered a burger each, three in total. They were all overcooked and dry. Given the speed at which they came out, I can only assume that they were pre-prepared. The place wasn’t busy so there shouldn’t be any excuse for this. At the prices they charge, the food should at least be made to order. Unfortunately, they may have lost my business.

Great burgers, but not as hot as we would have liked. The Duck fries were really good, love the Parmesan cheese on them. Good selection of beers and great service! We will be back!

Beer bourbon and burgers, if that’s not a recipe for success than I am not human… Love this place and anytime I come through Sioux Falls I always stop by. I live in Vegas and we have good food, this place would do well in Vegas that I am sure of.

They have a great tap list and bourbon selection as well. I really liked the chalk boards. They were fun to read and quite helpful. I ordered a Maibock and a couple of the side dishes. Fried potato salad and artichoke hearts. My boyfriend and I split a chicken sandwich. Everything was excellent, but VERY heavy. I wish I had known the artichokes were going to be fried. I would go back. I’d like to try some of their other beers.

I love this place! Every time I’m there I try to get something different, but my favorite meal so far is a classic cheeseburger. It doesn’t get any more decadent than this. Add a side of the duck fat fries and you won’t regret it. To top it off the endless choices of whisky, or whiskey, depending if you’re going with scotch, bourbon or rye. If this will be your first time there and feel intimidated, don’t be. The service is extremely knowledgeable and not pretentious at all.

We loved the deluxe bacon cheeseburgers, duck fries and awesome selection of beers! Heads up… No one allowed under 21 years old so definitely and adult bar and grill. Relaxed atmosphere with plenty of sports to watch.

One of the best burgers in town. I’ve eaten here three times and went for drinks another time. I always try a new burger and I haven’t been disappointed yet. The burgers can be a little messy but they more than make up for it with taste. The fries are really thin and seasoned right with a Parmesan cheese and salt mixture. The beer selection is also great. The atmosphere is a tad on the dark side but not bad. It is somewhat expected for being more of a bar scene. The with all the wood and brick inside it feels like a nice pub. A lot of people say how good JL Beers is, and I’m included. But I would pick Taphouse 41 over JL Beers most of the time.

Beer, bourbon, burgers. I know, it seems like a strong combination to begin with… But I have to say Taphouse does it better than anyone in Sioux Falls. Their burgers are phenomenal(the Egg burger is messy and hard to eat, but nothing worth doing is tidy) and really the appetizers are pretty incredible as well. The bacon brussels sprouts are my favorite, but I will note that they are not always consistently prepared…(I think they were nailing down the best way to prepare them). But really it’s always worth it. I’m constantly confused by people who rave about JL Beers and their burgers… Good, I know, but 41 Taphouse has bested them on every level as far as I am concerned.

Making our way through town, wanted to stop for lunch. I didn’t realize how really we were, but a guy working let us in a few minutes early. Didn’t catch his name but he was our waiter too. Excellent service, great food, awesome bar. Would definitely stop here again if we come this way again! (I got the«Egg» burger with the steak fries, husband got the«Big Dipper» burger with the duck fat fries… we both loved our food! Really flavorful and all around delicious!)

Stellar selection of beers and bourbons and the food is just phenomenal. I get the duck fat fries every single time I go here. I also really love the drunken mussels, which I ordered and ate entirely by myself for dinner. I did not share. I did not offer to share. I ate every last one myself and was not ashamed. I also recommend the sausage and cheese board, which comes with a variety of cheeses, meats, crackers and even some delicious IPA mustard. It is a light appetizer for 2. Make sure you get it during happy hour, as it is heavily discounted — usually up to $ 4 discount. Atmosphere is cool, plenty of seating, but 21+ only, so keep that in mind. I’ve never tried a burger but I’ve heard they’re great. Service has been hit-and-miss for me, but not enough to make me think negatively of the pub. Whenever I sit at the bar, though, the service is attentive and the bartender is friendly, talkative, and knowledgeable. Great spot for supper or apps. If you don’t order the duck fat fries, you are doing yourself a great disservice. Prost!

My review is based purely in drinks, since I didn’t eat here. As others have mentioned, TH41 is known for beers, bourbons and burgers. Although, I didn’t drink a beer, I looked at their menu is fairly eclectic and diverse. I went for their bourbon and scotch collection and it didn’t disappoint. They have 50+ bottles of Ryes, bourbons, single malt scotches and other whiskies. Each is available as a taste or standard pour. Prices are certainly cheaper than what I would pay in Chicago. I ended up getting an Old Fashioned, a Balvenie 14 yr and a Jameson Gold Reserve. I knocked off a star since their old fashioned was not a classic old fashioned and the bartender muddled the Orange and cherry and complete no-no in my book. I will certainly be back to try a burger next time.

Food: They have a pretty decent beer list here. I started with the Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA, one of my go-to favorites. For my meal, I ordered the Baja Burger which came with smoked hot pepper jack cheese, roast garlic mayo, creamy avocado, tomato salsa, and lime crème. That was one good burger. It was so good and flavorful, I could’ve easily eaten another one. I ordered it with a small order of duck fat fries which was tossed in Parmesan salt. Those were some good fries! I finished everything off with a Dark Horse Single Hop Cascade. That was a good beer as well. Service: Service was fantastic. I came in on a late afternoon and there were only a few patrons. The bartender was covering pretty much every table as well as the folks at the bar. He was friendly and made sure I had everything I needed even though it was clear that he was a bit overstretched. Location: It’s located on the south side of 41st St right at S Western Ave. The parking lot is huge and shared with a bunch of stores. It should not be a problem finding a parking space here.
