Scheels All Sports

Scheel’s is my favorite sporting store. They have absolutely anything you can think of that would relate to sports and recreation. After the remodel there is even more they offer.
Whether your interest is fishing, hunting, camping, or any type of other sport you will find what you need here. I’ve gotten many gifts and purchased high quality equipment and clothing. I like that there is such a variety from very high end clothing and accessories, and also options to choose from other brands that won’t break the budget.
Aside from the quality of products offered the building is very unique with the addition of a Ferris wheel and restaurant. It’s fun to just walk around and enjoy the atmosphere.
Every encounter I have had the employees has been pleasant as each area of speciality has someone willing to help answer questions. From the weight lifting gloves to headphones, to the workout shorts and camping and fishing supplies; I have enjoyed this store and feel Sioux Falls is fortunate to have such a wonderful resource.

Every time I go there I am always greeted in a friendly and respectful manner, it’s always easy for me to find help if needed and never felt pressured in any way.
I asked for a product I did not see and they not only researched it for me but gave me a wealth of information and a good recommendation which I am considering. with no pressure to buy right now, rather to research the options and return if chosen and if not happy with it, easily exchange it for something else (unlike other places).
This location is HUGE and there is a tremendous selection to choose from. Always a pleasure to shop there and I WILL be returning and recommending this place to friends.

Great products and the BEST customer service. My son’s Columbia winter coat had a defective zipper. Scheels was helpful and offered to repair the coat or exchange it for a new one. I will buy my family’s coats, boots, and shoes from Scheels. This store is huge and has a large selection of products. Thank you for offering some of the best products and service in Sioux Falls, SD. I would recommend your store to anyone!

I really enjoy the quality of service that I get from each individual there. I was upset that I had to reorder Choco’s sandals twice. The first time they couldn’t find the size they had on inventory and this second time is a manufacturer default. I am currently waiting for this second order. It is too bad they cannot expedite an order especially since this second order occurred. Overall great quality of service; unfortunate luck with merchandise. I pray I get these sandals soon!

My husband and I are in the midst of preparing or gear lists for next year’s hiking season. Currently dayhikers, we’re looking to branch into multi-​day (but certainly not expedition) hiking. Obviously then, we need gear that we’ve never had to bother with before. A tent, sleeping bags, and backpacks are the most important items to me and thus, I prefer to try on and purchase them in-​store so I can guarantee I get what I buy.
1^st point… Scheel’s had a larger selection of gear than Dick’s Sporting Goods by far! Bravo! A pleasant surprise!
2^nd point… If we had no clue what we were looking for, there were multiple employees ready to answer questions.
3^rd point… Those multiple employees obviously aren’t busy enough as I had to politely send 7 of them on their way in only a 10 minute period. The ones we did decide to ask questions of, didn’t know the answers and instead of saying so just B.S.‘d us.
* «Do you carry this style of pack that I want?»
~ «Oh nobody wants that kind.»
* «Can you help me find the travel weight on this tent, I don’t see it?»
~ «I don’t either but it feels light.»
Aggravating.

WOW. If you like sports, this is the place for you! In fact, now you can even shop there for accessories, shoes and regular cloths. They just reopened, bigger and better than ever. Beautiful store with staff everywhere. They even have a café in there now as well as a ferris wheel. Its not the cheapest of places but its amazing!!! You’ll get stuck for hours!

Since the remodel, Scheels has become an absolute must-​see destination in Sioux Falls. They have tons of clothing, sporting goods, and camping equipment. They also have a ferris wheel and a massive cafeteria. It’s fun for the whole family.

They are the best for customer service. I have purchased a number of items form this store and at times they are over priced. However, I scan all my purchases with Redlazer and for the most part they match the lowest price I can find. If they don’t match they will give it to you for the closest price they can.

Amazing sporting goods store. I was driving from Minnesota to Wyoming, when I found my fishing equipment had been damaged from shifting in the truck. Pulled into Sioux Falls, asked where would be the best place to get new gear. Scheels was the unanimous response.
It has everything, from light fly rods to heavy ocean rigs. Very reasonably price, large selection.
