Cute bar with great pizza! Nice place to have drinks with friends on historic 4^th street. Love this place.

Great décor and staff but the pizza tasted bad. It was equivalent to bad frozen pizza. Bummer as I was just in Sioux City for one night.

Best pizza I’ve had during my many visits to the MidWest. We had a Taco pizza and a Veggie as well as an order of nachos. Everyone loved the food. Service was excellent. Decent beer choices. Would definitely go back.

Great pizza, crappy service. Had to tip the cooks in the great job they did… Servers well let’s just say they were to busy talking about Justin and the 9 college credits she has to go and her home life with the other server and fellow bartender… Sorry but I don’t care to hear about your personal issues when I need a beer. I come out to eat to be served food not drama!!!

Great place for beer, pizza and wings. Good selection with a friendly staff. Also if your in bad company, you can just get lost in the atmosphere of this place. Lots of fun.

This place is a visual feast that happens to sell a damn fine pizza. Buffalo Alice is not decorated in any theme, it’s more of a museum that changed curators many times and forgot to start over. We had a bbq chicken pizza that was piled high and addictive. If I lived in Sioux City it would be a regular stop for food and would love to visit on a busy night to feel the energy and hang with the locals for some beverages.

Pretty good pizza at a nice downtown location. Pizza came out not very hot, but had decent taste. Seemed a little short staffed, but bartender really hustled.

First timer. Happened to be in Sioux city for work and was looking for Surly on tap. This place had it so here I am. Decked out in Christmas lights on November 16^th. Whatevs. Opens at 4, I got here at 430 and it was empty. Friendly staff and decent tap list. No complaints. Place is pretty big with 2 separate sides, each with its own bar. Plus I guess they have an outdoor patio in the warmer months. Prolly a fun place on a Friday night. Looks like the kind of place that gets loud and busy.

One of our favorite places in Sioux City. Great place that the locals hang out at too. We love their pizza with a generous amount of toppings. Great place to hang out with friends or to watch a ball game.

The pizza had fresh ingredients. The sauce was light and tasty. I will say it is one of the best pizzas I’ve had in Iowa. The bartender Gina was awesome and attentive. We always had drinks before our last ones were empty. I would definitely recommend Buffalo Alice’s.

this place would get 5 stars because their pizza is really good and the options for toppings is awesome but… the service is just awful. I have been here four, maybe 5 times during the afternoon and its just terrible (not busy either). For an example the last time I was in there was about a week ago and there was a table of about 6 people who were done with their meal and just talking, I came in and sat down saw the server walk by about seven or eight times… waiting…waiting…seriously about 20 minutes before she even acknowledged my presence… food took another 25 minutes… remember no one is here (or ordering), the time before this i just left without ordering… so in conclusion BA’s get your staff together and explain how a job works!

This restaurant will never get any of my money. I have been there twice and still never eaten the food. Both times I have been there, I sat at the bar. The bartender (not the server) got me a soda and never came back. The first time I waited for 45 minutes before I walked out. This time I only gave them 27. The server was covering her tables and doing dishes, but the bartender seemed like she was interested in doing everything other than her job. Today was not busy. Two staff out front serving six groups, only two had more than four people.
When I walked out, the bartender didn’t even notice. She was four feet away, talking to her friends.

Really bad service and a very limited menu. Waitress took my drink order and didn’t come back for my girlfriends order until I was almost done with my drink. Needless to say it was one drink or half a drink for each of us and then goodbye

BA’s technically serves your typical bar food, but they are known for their pizza. I went with ground buffalo (you read that right), mushrooms, and green peppers. You can get the mushrooms fresh, not canned, and that was great for me to see. I really liked the crust, though my wife thought it was a little excessive on the thickness. Good sauce, fresh toppings, nice enough atmosphere, good hangout.
BA’s has a full bar for those interested, and boasts the widest assortment of beers in the area. The pizza is kind of spendy, with a 3 topping medium (8 slices) going for almost $ 20. It can get pretty loud and packed during peak times, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Parking can be difficult to come by as well, so be prepared to walk a bit.

One of my crew’s favorite night time hang outs back in the day. The outdoor patio is a great way to spend a summer evening. Around Christmas time, it’s a christmas-​tree-​light explosion! So festive — love it!
It gets busy busy on weekends, but during the week it’s can be a nice, quiet (ish) place to grab a drink and talk with friends.
OH! And i almost forgot… be sure to get a slice of pizza at the end of the night. There’s just something about the late-​night pizza that helps prevent a hang over!

Buffalo Alice is an awesome Bar. The service is friendly– the atmosphere is very relaxed and fun.
As far as bar Pizza goes, it’s great!
The crust is crispy on the bottom, the toppings are great, the sauce is very tangy. My only qualm is just SLIGHTLY too much cheese– the only reason i say this is because some of it was not entirely melted despite being well cooked everywhere else.

Their pizza is the best in Sioux City in my opinion. We go here often and its one of the first restaurants I’ll take visiting family and friends.
Pros: Awesome pizza and large beer selection. Great décor as well.
Cons: Noisy and slow service. Sometimes they won’t open the second half of the seating area even if there isn’t any place to sit in the first half.
