Great atmosphere and always excellent service. The food never disappoints either. Perfect stop for delicious salads at lunch time, happy hour or for dinner.

The experience I had was terrible, so much so words cannot describe the emotions that I experienced during my visit. There is one word that carried a theme throughout my visit… discrimination. All employees of a local insurance company, but all of different origins. We were treated poorly from the minute we walked through the door. The first strike in my book was the fact that the server lied to us about an area that was supposedly«reserved». No joke, my experience was like a social experiment. The first time we asked to sit in the supposed«reserved» area, we were denied. I went back a second time, solely on my own and I asked the same question. I was given a completely different answer in a welcoming tone. How is it? I understand my Indian co-workers are not always the easiest to deal with, but do not classify a culture as a whole into an individual group. Narrow-minded idiots was the first thought that came to my mind when listening to our server talk. My service was the WORST I have ever had. I am all about the experience and service whenever I go to any establishment. My service was frighteningly horrendous and that set the pace for the entirety of my visit.

This review refers to brunch. The brunch deal includes a coffee or tea, a mimosa or screwdriver, main course selection, AND a dessert. Quite the filling offer at 20 dollars. My personal experience was with the eggs benedict, however, there were choices of french toast, eggs and potatoes, and a few more. The breakfast potatoes were very well seasoned. The eggs well cooked. It was a nice ambiance, stone wall with a warm fireplace. The hummus and garlic bread appetizers were also delicious. All in all it was a good experience. I like to think brunch here can be looked at like a nice relaxing treat. It is certainly worth a try and when I say«it» I am referring to brunch.

My husband and I have been searching for our new favorite restaurant after Morton’s closed, so we decided to try Abigail’s this weekend. It won’t be our go-to restaurant but it is worth trying at least once. First impression was nice, the building is very charming, well maintained, and feel like you are arriving at someone’s home for a nice dinner. We had made reservations for 8:15 and arrived at 8:09. Walked in and found the host station and were immediately put off. The two young girls were chatting and acted and treated us like we were inconveniencing them by arriving. We told her our name and she said«well you will have to wait untl 8:15 you are early». Hmmm ok, we can wait 5 minutes, not a big deal to us. They went back to chatting about the one girl’s internship that she was clearly missing because she hadn’t received security clearance(yup we heard just about her whole life story — she is very dramatic and vocal, not the best first impressions) Ok time comes, and we are seated. There was a nice gentleman that came to the host station and told us to have a nice dinner. We were seated in the back part of the restaurant right off the bar it turns out. I order my drink and my husband asks for a wine list, which they advertise as a wine bar so we figured they would have a nice selection. Our waitress returned after 10 mins with a drink list and maybe 10 wines by the glass, which we weren’t impressed with. She returned and he asked if it was possible to get a bottle so she leaves and returns with a much larger book of wines(you would think they would give it you the first time, but i guess not). Bottles are fairly priced. We got a bottle of Cakebread which is usually $ 100 other places and was around $ 87 here, so good price. She left once again and returned a while later with the bottle. We asked to order, she was pleasant enough, just not quick. My husband and I ordered some shrimp, which was very good when it did come. We both ordered steak medium rare with broccoli and potato. When dinner finally did arrive, my steak was at least medium if not medium well and my husband’s was well. BUT they did have good flavor, and after waiting an hour and a half, we decided it was easier for us to just eat it and not wait for the steaks to be recooked. Broccoli was NOT cooked and basically raw. My husband had the whipped potato which was good and my baked potato was also good. Our waitress did apologize for the steaks and said she could have them remade, but we had waited so long we said no thank you. We did get the impression it was common for this complaint. The portions were quite big however, just not well cooked. Others around us had pasta dishes which looked VERY good. A couple behind us had ordered a cheese plate and it came up and had nice presentation. However, we were second to last to arrive and be seated in the section and we were the very last to leave. Overall we were there for almost 2.5 hours. Overall, an OK dinner, but probably won’t be coming back.
