Hands down, the best in Simi that I’ve experienced. I’m always a walk in and usually receive service immediately. On days that they are busy, my wait time is always quoted accurately. Everyone in the salon recognizes me and knows exactly what services I prefer. I never have to sit through the litany of an up sale schpele. They have an extensive collection of OPI colors (my preferred brand). They also have a large selection of gel colors. They recently updated their salon chairs. The salon is clean and the staff is friendIy and attentive. I now live on the East end of town and continue to drive all the way to Woodranch for their services.

Set in a calm and peaceful community on the west side of Simi Valley. It is to the left of Viva La Pasta Italian restaurant.
Took my girlfriend here and was greeted by the very friendly staff. It was not her and my first time being in that kind of environment. Thus, she and I knew what a good nail salon consisted of. Due to the friendliness of the staff and laxed environment, the services was very relaxing according to her. Also a very clean salon that doesn’t have the overwhelming chemical smell like other places she has been to. Definitely services and the attentative staff is what earns this place 5 stars for us.
She got the grand deluxe and it was worth every penny to see how happy she was. We ended up buying a gift certificate to gift it to a friend as a present due to how pleasant the experience was.

It took many salons to find this one. I truly enjoy getting my nails done and I LOVE the way Lisa goes my gel polish & acrylics. I am in the beauty industry so I know good work when I see it! I would definitely recommend Venus to anyone looking for a great nail salon in Simi Valley!

Solid nails spa with friendly employees.
Decent amount of parking. Clean, modern facility. Walk-​ins accepted.
I’ve had a few visits to Venus Nails Spa and all have been pleasant. The employees are friendly, efficient and good at what they do. They do chat in another language the entire time so I often wonder if they are making jokes at my expense, but hey– it’s typical I suppose. (Personally, I consider it a small bit rude.)
Overall, if you’re looking to get a mani/​pedi for $ 25 this is a solid place to do it.
Advice: They really prefer cash tips (instead of placing it on your credit card).

The salon is pretty and clean but she didn’t do anything I asked, didn’t file my nails square, argued with me when I reminded her what I wanted (square with 2 coats paint.) I had to go home and fix my nails myself.

DON’t, and I repeat, DON’T step into this place! They cut me three times and as I watched another customer leave, the operator wiped down her instruments and used them on the next customer! I told the women sitting next to me that her instruments were not clean! She got up and left and so did I. I’m reporting them!

Poor job painting nails, missed part of the nail on both fingers and toes. I will not be returning.

This salon is «okay’. Went in for a manicure and she did a very mediocre job. Nails were filed crooked. Service is so-​so as like most nail salons there is a language barrier. The cost of a gel manicure is $ 27 which I thought was kind of pricey. I will not go back.

People complaining make no sense to me, this salon is far better than 95% of the LA ones, where sometimes they’ll put your feet in a cat litter tray and don’t have massage chairs. This place has it all. They where white uniforms, too, which looks nice. The gels are admittedly limited, but they have like 45 shades, colors are all over the map. I once got an opal color though, and I wish they’d told me it’s not a good color if you want it to show up. Like most salons, they’ll try to throw in extras, even though you might not understand what they’re saying. Callus removal, sea salt scrub, paraffin wax soak, fancy designs with jewels… you name it. Just say «NO!» It’s easy to make requests. Just be firm.

Not going back after today. Been there a few times and can say the price is good but the quality of the mani/​pedi is so so. Don’t even bother with the callus removal as it isn’t as effective as other places. They rush so the cuticle removal can be painful or inadequate and the way they shape your nails is not good (a colleague of mine looked at my nails at work and said they looked lopsided — which was true and I did notice but was shocked it was so obvious that other people noticed but the salon employees didn’t). Most places ask if you want change when you pay but they do not. They assume the difference is the tip. Also most places ask if you want your nails trimmed but some of their people just start filing. Lastly, most places ask you if you like the shape of your nails after they are filed. They do not. The salon is close to my home but I have decided I would rather drive further and pay more than to settle.

Great nail salon! I have had my nails done for years around the area and by far the best place ever! They are super nice and the salon is clean and the spa chairs are really comfortable! I also like to support our small community! Definitely worth giving them a try!

These are the nicest people ever and I wish I could write a five star review! The spa chairs are wonderful. But I go to get my nails done and the job they did was awful. I had a mani/​pedi for a wedding and the polish was chipped away on both the day after. I went to the wedding with awful nails– and the ‘flower” they painted looked like cheetah spots. Honestly, it was embarrassing, both nails and toes! But they are sweet and the chairs are nice. i probably won’t return.

Finally a Nail place that’s good. I moved to Wood Ranch last Nov. and have been looking for a good Nail Salon all over Simi since then. They are reasonable and give you worth your money. I had the Deluxe Spa Pedi and a Manicure. Other places rush through it and keep pushing for more Massage or more this and that. This Place is so different they took so much time to do the foot scrub and Massage it was a breath of fresh Air! So friendly as well and great prices. I highly recommend it !

I used to live in this neighborhood and I just loved this nail salon! I go whenever I get the chance to be in Wood Ranch. Once, I walked to the salon from my house and when the nail tech that did my pedicure saw that I was going to put running shoes back on and not flip flops, she carefully wrapped my toes in saran wrap and helped me get my shoes on. So kind! When I got home, I was delighted to discover that I had no smudges at all! Give this place a try. Highly recommended.

I call and ask how big there selection is of gel nail colors. The woman tells me she has so many and can’t look through them all. I asked her do you use relish? she goes ya ya. I go do you have chunky glitters? ya ya just come in.
of course I go in there trusting her and see the she has literally under 10 colors of gels. The worse colors and on top of that its a cheapy brand I have never heard of.
I felt so pressured as they kept asking what I wanted and I drove all the way there. So I gave in, then…
It was literally some aftermarket brand you buy downtown. The color was horrible and it chipped within hours!
I was so upset but didn’t even wanna be bothered being trapped in there again.
I hate being lied too and if your in WoodRanch don’t cheap out on your products!

Very nice little nail place conveniently located for those in the Wood Ranch neighborhood. Quiet, clean, rarely a wait for a walk in. It’s tucked in to what used to be the Ralph’s shopping center, near the Italian restaurant. Now that the Ralph’s has closed I worry these little places might lose business, so please give Venus a try if you are in the area.
