Took the wife and daughter here for breakfast last Monday morning. I think this is my third time to Millie’s in the past year and it is consistently good food and good service. The staff is attentive and the family and I were seated immediately and had drinks served to the table in a minute or less. Pretty traditional breakfast options here. The daughter ordered the french toast and eggs and the wife ordered the blueberry waffles. I had the chicken fried steak and gravy with eggs and hash browns. The food came to the table really quickly. Guessing in 5 – 7 minutes. As usual, the food was very good. Kind of a small place, but that is to my liking. Very family friendly and the food and service is always top notch.

The food was good. HOWEVER the waitress staff were extremely rude and disrespectful towards MILITARY personnel in their conversation I overheard, talking about restrictions on a military discount I watched them denied to a VETERAN. They continued their conversation after he left, how he needed to be ACTIVE, ANDINUNIFORM! Why even offer a discount?! To show appreciation? It’s not a AAA membership! Either you’re offering to show your support for our military, or your not! And you don’t. What I witnessed was rude and disrespectful.(And I am not military).

Millie’s is a diner and it has diner food. It’s not fantastic, but it’s good enough and it’s inexpensive. I have tried both their pot roast and chicken taco salad which were at least okay but not great. For the price, I am not complaining. Also I recently tried Millie’s for breakfast, and it was quite good. So you are probably better off with breakfast than dinner. In addition, the service at Millie’s is quite good.

We just had an awesome breakfast at a reasonable price. It was rustic and felt like going back in time to when the portions were big and the price is low. If you liked going to mom and pop restaurants back in the day this is definitely the place for you.

Haven’t been here in a long time, I used to come pretty regularly with my parents when I was a kid. I love their chicken tortilla soup! Our server Tyler was really nice. Sad to see the place so empty though, hopefully they don’t end up another empty store front after being here for so many years

My first experience at this place was over a year ago and I remember it being bad but I thought I would give it a 2nd chance since my bf seems to think it was a fluke. Went there today for lunch and was given cup with lip stick stain still on it and found a hair in my hash brown, at the bottom of the plate of course. The waitress was constantly on her cell phone. Disgusted and will not be returning or recommending this place.

I like Millie’s for comfort food. When I can decide what to eat I go to Millies. Both my daughters have been waitresses there. My oldest worked there for 14 years so I’m eating everything on the menu I think but there’s nothing that I wouldn’t eat everything is great!!!

My wife and I were hungry after church one Sunday and drove to Soup Plantation, got out of the car and walked up to the door only to be turned away by an employee telling us they were closed due to a backed up pipe. With our tummies grumbling and our heads down, we drove to Denny’s. Can’t go wrong that, right? Wrong. There were so many people they were out the door. We walked back outside an I looked across the street and saw Millie’s then I looked back to my wife and she looked hungrier by now. I said lets go. After we were sat by the gracious hostess, we were greeted by a wonderful cup of heaven, I mean coffee. I had the biggest pancake I have ever had. Even though the were super busy, we got our food pretty quick and it was so good. We have been back several times and every time the food was good and hot. Sometimes the wait staff gets a little flustered when the restaurant is full to capacity, however, we love Millie’s and will be going back again and again.

My husband and I have been coming to Mille’s for ages, but our recent visit was just horrible. The place was almost empty, and it took the server 10 minutes to bring our drinks. After the rude server(I don’t want to mention any names, but she was the only one working there, the older Mexican lady) looked frustrated when we asked about their appetizers. After she took our order, we had to wait 45 minutes to get our simple sandwiches. Another couple came in and they received their order before ours. And by the way, the sandwich tasted grainy like it had sand in it. What happened to this place? And I had to get up a couple of times to flag the server to refill our drinks. The food and the service was by far the worst I have ever experienced. We are never coming here again! Don’t waste your time and money at this dump.

Been eating here often since they opened this location and have never been disappointed, if it’s disappointment you want there’s a Denny’s across the street and they serve that up in spades. Millie’s is typical diner with good service and good food. Always been fond of the club sandwich and if I had to complain about anything it would be that I practically have hide my glass because they will refill your soda when you’re not looking which I’m now compelled to finish.

Great place for breakfast, especially when compared to Ihop or Denny’s. The small things made a huge difference here, including the crispy bacon and the taste of the melted butter. I have eaten here twice in the past few weeks and recommend their breakfast, which is served all day long. I won’t give it 5 stars, because the décor is pretty dated and both times i went, different waitresses were not regularly checking up on table for refills or with the check. I had to flag them down.

Very pleased with the service here at Millie’s, our server was great. I have been coming here for years and the food is always hot and fresh. Staff is very friendly and always smiling. Would recommend the California avocado omelette.

I have been going to Millie’s for years. The food is very good and our server Joetta never fails to impress me. I totally recommend ordering the What a Waffle. It’s awesome! Best waffle around. The price is good for the amount of food you get. The place could use a remodel, but the food and service totally make up for it. It’s still clean, just outdated. The only thing I would tell the owner is to have«special menu» come out once in a while

Average, not horrible, not great. The food was what you would expect from traditional American diner offerings. The service was decent, but the restaurant was in need of some updating, it kind of felt like I walked back into the 1980’s. With all of the other great options for eating in Simi you would think they might try to step it up a bit and compete.

Not impressed. It took over 40 minutes to get our breakfast and when it finally was put on our table, the order was wrong and the food was cold. We sent it back and still waiting. Hope management reads these posts.

Stayed over my families house over the weekend and this is where they wanted to go for Sunday breakfast. Not bad for a Country Style Restaurant and believe its country. It seemed to me their in the process of remolding and it needs a make over. Real old fashion. The tables seemed to be a little to close together. As for the service, the server’s need to be a little more attentive to their guests. Case in point a customer got up from his table to get a refill on his coffee. Not good. On Sundays’s always staff your location. Having an additional server on the floor would helped during your rush period. Its just Breakfast. Nothing real spectacular. I had the Denver omelet with home made potatoes with salsa, it was OK .

Well, there is no doubt about it, this Millie’s is great for breakfast. They fix what you want, the way you want it. My steak was just right and the bacon was crisp; topped off with great scrambled eggs and sliced tomatoes. The servers keep your choice of beverage topped off, and are friendly too. A much better choice then the Denny’s across the street, let me tell you.

I come here all the time with my Dad for breakfast Two weeks ago we came and I ordered my usual on an early Saturday morning. As I was eating my spinach/cheese omelette, I bit into something hard. Pulled it out of my mouth it was a hard round ball. I could not figure out what it was. I told the waitress, and she said let me get my manager. She came over ad said its just an avocado pit. They do a lot of chopping back there it wont hurt you! Really lady??? She did not take anything off the bill either. My Dad had a coupon for buy one get one free, but she didn’t even say sorry. Just it wont hurt you! Well it turned me off enough with her lack of caring. I will not go back there with my Dad. I will go back to Eggs n things instead.
