I had the Greek salad. It was ok and the dressing had no flavor. I’m a vegetarian and I asked for the baked tofu but they don’t sell it anymore and it’s still on the menu as an option. I ordered the veggie burger crumble and it made the salad taste burnt. Let’s just say it was a salad with no soul.

I always complain about the generic food offerings in Simi and am so happy i found this place. For anyone that knows Salad Farm, this is very similar. I love to custom my food orders because I’m slightly picky and here i didn’t feel like i was being a burden as i got to choose everything i wanted in my salad. I did a romaine mix with kalamata olives, steak, artichokes, roasted corn, and fresh jalapenos. We also ordered the quesadilla for a toddler and it was super cheesy and delicious. This is an easy place to make good food choices so I am glad we tried it out. Also, the cookies… kind of the best! Eating my leftovers right now and am still enjoying it!

I was originally walking into Subway since I was looking for something that wasn’t too bad in the way of fast food and saw Chop It Up. What a great find! The menu was a bit overwhelming at first glance but the owner was very patient and informative on what options could have outside of the posted items. Very important for those concerned on ingredients. I ended up with a custom wheat wrap with everything I wanted. A bit more on price $ 11.00 but that could feed two! So happy I found this place and will be back!

Love that we have a place to get good salads! We have been twice now. Even my husband was able to get something and be satisfied and full. Great portion size, prices were decent and again, a lot of options. Service was good as well. We will def be back!

I had Chop It Up for dinner last night. It was so good. Oh my gosh it was SOOOGOOOD. I got a create-your-own wrap. It was so full of veggies. When I saw them put it all on top of the tortilla, I didn’t think they’d be able to close it! I want to go again and again. I love wraps and I’m a vegetarian so this place is perfect for me.

The salads here are very filling! The ingredients were fresh. The selections for soups the day we went were butternut squash, clam chowder, tortilla, and tomato bisque. There is a soup and salad special that is a good deal. We were a party of four. We all had something different and all lived what we had. We will definitely be back! Glad we have a good choice that is not greasy fried food!

This is such a great lunch spot in Simi! The prices are very reasonable and you get a huge healthy salad. I even convinced my boyfriend, who is not a «salad guy,» to eat here and he loved it! The service is a little slow, but definitely not the fault of the employees. It’s just because the customers are new too and don’t know how to decide what toppings they want! Hoping this place stays in Simi for a while and doesn’t face the Simi mall curse!

After seeing the article in the Star I decided to try this new place. I went to the seamy Towncenter and walked from and to and without finding the shop. After calling them I realize they are not in the main center but the building to the east, next to Subway. When I arrived the tables inside were full with two large parties. There was no one in line. The menu was posted on the wall and clear when it comes to salads but I did not see the soups. We were told someone would be with us in a minute. I counted five employees. All were busy cleaning silverware and in the back room with two on the food line. We were clearly ready to order and waited four minutes watching them work without one of them taking our order. It was Friday might at 7pm. we left without ordering. I cannot comment about the food because we never ordered. We wanted to try a family owned business but they need to develop a process to serve the customers from the big shops if they are going to pull it together. I hope they do well, they have the space an plenty if people, organization and management would help.

Fast, healthy, fresh, inexpensive! What more can you ask for? We have been several times and it is consistently good. I recommend the soup & salad combo. All the soups have been excellent– my favorite is the tortilla soup, but the clam chowder, chicken noodle and the broccoli cheese are all excellent. And you get a huge cup of soup plus a huge salad made to order for $ 7.99. Best deal in town for lunch! And they will even make things not on the menu with their plethora of fresh ingredients. A few times they made my daughter a bean and cheese burrito and she couldn’t be happier. Nice staff as well. Try it, you’ll like it.

I have been here twice. This place makes some really good salads, but it usually takes more than salad to squash my appetite! I was disappointed on my last visit when I tried to order a cinnamon roll that they offered on their menu and they told me that they are no longer available. Ugh! Well scratch it from your menu then! Aside from that, this is a good salad place to visit if you don’t mind paying the price for it.

I’ve been putting off grabbing lunch at Chop It Up, and today I decided to try. Very glad I made this decision. Chop It Up is a nice salad/bowl/wrap shop that uses fresh ingredients, and you can tell. The have a wide variety of ingredients, which allows for customization. Also — they have tofu and a delicious vegan patty meat substitute. Love it. All in all, my wrap came out to $ 8.50 without a drink, which is a good deal! Will def be coming back. Health-conscious individuals should check this place out

Wow this place was so boring and so not tasteful if you want a boring salad this is a place to go for $ 11 rip off I’d rather eat at chipotle !!

I had reservations about coming here, as I thought it would be a typical salad bar, but I was totally wrong. While you can create your own salad, they also have meal type salads available too. I had the Greek Chop and was pleased with the mixture of fresh romaine and spinach and that they were not skimpy on the toppings either. The salad was huge and the ingredients were more than typical salad bar veggies. Heirloom tomatoes, roasted red peppers, kalamata olives. I think I found my new favorite salad stop. With the option to put the dressing on the side, these salads would be great for takeout. If you are a salad lover, you need to give this new gem a try.

Oh my gosh! This is the spot! You want a salad that will rock your socks get in there! This place has it all! Friendly staff, clean very very clean, big portions, fresh produce, and amazing selections! Don’t get confused when trying to find this place they are closer to Erringer not actually inside the out door Simi mall. They are next to subway tucked in a corner. Heather is the owner she is amazing. They deliver over $ 25.00. I work not far from there they made me a happy customer since they deliver sometimes we can’t go get food so having that as an option makes me happy. Beer battered chicken what? Yea it’s good. So give it a shot Simi support a local small business owner! Don’t want a salad ok they have rice bowls and wraps. Tell your friends family and co workers. They have organic options as well.

I normally don’t like to leave bad reviews, but I was sadly disappointed with this place. I know it’s new and it may take time for them to find their«groove». Had heard good things but this was by far the worst salad I’ve ever had. Ordered the reaper chicken chop salad and added avocado. Didn’t get my avocado and only got half a bowl of salad which was swimming in dressing. So bad. :( I ate a few bites and then threw it away. $ 11.00 not well spent. Customer service was poor as well and the place was not even busy. Husband’s wrap was mediocre. I like to support local businesses so I’m hoping this was a one-off. Reluctant to go back though…

I am so happy to have a healthy place to grab a quick lunch or dinner. It seems the only places popping up in Simi are even more pizza or burger places. When I walked in it reminded me of the new pizza place that opened in Simi — urban pizza. You walk down the line to get your food and order your toppings. We ordered the tri tip chop wrap the Caesar salad in a spinach wrap and a kids Ckn chop. I loved them all. The tri tip wrap had great flavor — altho my husband did not like it. The ckn Caesar wrap was delicious. My son loves his chicken salad. I will say this: when you walk in to the left is the board of pre-planned wraps and salads — great! But if you want a create your own you have to lean your head way back and look at the board 12 feet in the air — it was makings dizzy which is why we ordered items already thought up by owners. So owners please maybe print out a menu to have in the front that lists your fresh veggies that we can pick from.

Checked out this new Salad place last week. Really good, reminds me of a NYC salad shop. You walk down the line and tell them what you want in your salad and then they mix it up with your requested dressing and pop it all into the bowl. They also have other menu items and predefined salads if you prefer. One recommendation i would have is for them to provide a carb along with the salad, i. e half a pita, some crusty bread etc… Otherwise great place, the raspberry dressing was delish! Great to have some more healthy places coming into Simi Valley!
