I’m giving it two stars for the taste. I’ve lived in Alaska for over 10 years and have had real fish. I’m skeptical that this is actually wild and not farmed. Atmosphere was fine with the exception of the lights practically touching my forehead. Overall wasn’t the best dining experience but better than fast food.

Excellent little place! Very clean, well organized, service was extremely friendly and helpful and the clam chowder is awesome! Also had the salmon burger which was very tasty! I would eat here again and reccomend it highly!

I went with my husband because we had a coupon. It was okay. Kind of greasy but I mean that does not mean the food tasted bad. The fish was decent, but I’m guessing probably frozen. The clam chowder was probably my favorite. Doubt I’ll be back, unless I have a good coupon.

I grew up with skippers. Been to this one in the past was so gross!!! Wow!!! I am so excited to have a good clean Skippers back in our town. Will be back for sure. Great job!!!

Great and friendly staff. Place is really clean. The food is really good. I love the All You Can Eat Baskets. The price is a steal. I was only able to eat on basket but it’s so worth it. Always love coming to eat here when I visit the area.

Delicious. I hadn’t been here since I was a kid. Now, at 28, I’m super impressed that Skipper’s is still in business. The inside looks completely different, the food is FRESH and so yummy. The employees were awesome and personable, which is rare in a fast food type setting. We didn’t feel like we were eating at a fast food restaurant because it was so piping hot that you could tell they made it right after we ordered it.

Haven’t been to a Skippers in years and was glad to find one in our new area in Silverdale. Very clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and checked in with us after we got our meals.
The food arrived quickly and hot. None of our meal was greasy. Tasted great and will definitely be back in the future!

The staff is amazing — so friendly! It makes you happy just being in the atmosphere. Great food for a great price, nice quick easy lunch with my daughter who loves the shrimp basket!
The clam chowder is pretty good too!

Love this place so much. Its completely updated inside so its always really clean. The owner works right along side with the employees which is awesome to see. The fish is amazing as is the Chowder!!! The kids meals come with fries, jello and animal crackers which my kids think is awesome lol. We go at least once a month!

Mind blowing customer service! Food was yummy! I really liked the clam chowder. Super clean and ad tons of coupons out it town! I just wished this place had a dive thru!
I will go back soon because the great care they took of my family and especially my fussy 7 year old!

Always forget about this place! Now that Silverdale is «under construction» and that side of town is hard to get around, hope everyone stops in here! Walked in, ordered and sat right away. Place was clean, staff very friendly and helpful with your ordering pleasures… and then the manager walked around talking to patrons-​when he wasn’t scrubbing the place down! Good hometown place to come and enjoy!

Awesome service here everytime! Can’t complain at all! Mike makes sure every one of his customers is satisfied. I will be coming here more often if it stays like this. Not one single bad experience since the place has been under new management. I recommend this place to all who like a nice place to hang out and eat with super friendly staff surrounding them. Keep up the good work!

Always a great experience! Amazing Value, Ambiance and Customer Service. They are always so polite and courteous. Chowder is yummy. Coupons are a great deal and they are always gracious to accept them (so many places aren’t these days…)

Holy crap, talk about service that’s on point. The owner was awesome and super patient. My sister spilt her drink then minutes later I dumped mine as well and he was perfectly okay with cleaning it. Not only that, but how often does the owner of the restaurant actually get his hands dirty and work? Great guy, great staff! We almost wanted a dirty look or two so we didn’t feel so bad about spilling every where. The place looks so good too! Not normally one to sit and eat places or even eat skippers but we will definitely be returning! Thank you guys for the great food and great service!

Great place to have some fish and other goodies. Mike has done a great job with the restaurant and they have some «fancier» fish options if desired. I had the beer battered cod and some excellent chowder. Stop in for a pleasant surprise.
