This is a great alternative to Starbucks, Panera Bread, and other chain/franchise eateries in Silverdale. Excellent crab asparagus quiche nicely presented w/grapes, bread & butter, on two plates as we wanted to share a piece then split the almond bear claw(flakey & good). Excellently foamy tasty cappuccino.

Nice friendly place with good service. I had the dill chicken sandwich which was very fresh with crunchy bits of cucumber deliciousness on homemade bread.

I stopped in here this morning and ordered a cheddar bacon croissant. Unfortunately when I got to the ferry it was a turkey croissant :(. The meat was kind of though, the croissant tasted buttery. The service was friendly but I wished that at $ 6 a goodie that it was correct. The baked sweets looked great maybe if I ever return I’ll try a brownie or macaroon.

Overpriced, bland food. Pastries are nothing special. Recently had a «cake ball» which tasted like a glob of lightly sweetened grease covered in cheap chocolate. Waste of $ 4.

Monica’s is right across the street from my office, so naturally I’ve been there quite a few times. I’ve only managed to try their bakery items though so I’m solely reviewing based on the baked goods. I love love love the shortbread cookies. Honestly everything I’ve tried is good but the iced shortbread are my favorite. I’ve only heard good things about the soups and sandwiches too so I look forward to trying them sometime!

This was the first place I ate at when I moved to the area and it’s still one of my favorites. Great variety of food, healthy, and not outrageously priced.

The food is amazing!!! And one price for any size drip coffee! I only give it a 4 cause it’s small and atmosphere is not the best. I couldn’t go work from there. But I doubt they even want that. It was so packed and busy. But again. The food is great! So why would it not be! I will for sure be going back.

There is no better frosted shortbread cookie than one made at Monica’s. You may feel it’s pricey at first, but it is worth every penny. Peanut Butter cookies are good, too, but this shortbread cookie is the best. Monica is very nice, and actually made the cookies for my husband’s birthday awhile back, and everyone loved them. They are his favorite cookie, and is disappointed if I go to Silverdale, and come home without cookies. Everything else looks great, too. I see several people have addressed the service there. It varies a lot, and goes from super nice, smiling, and memorable, to indifference with an attitude that you are a bother, and please hurry up and order. Truthfully the food is good enough to deal with either. Too bad though, but good employees are difficult to find.

Was annoyed with the service the first time I came in. But it’s been two years since and now I don’t know how many turkey havarti croissants but it’s been a lot. All the girls that work there now are super pleasant and helpful. Love that the sandwiches come in half sizes that way I can get a sandwich and a croissant for one meal. The food comes with a pickle on side usually but in the summer comes with grapes and oranges. All their ingredients are always fresh. Monica’s has easily become one of my favorite places to grab a quick and delicious meal.

I LOVE these guys! I needed a quick gift that could be delivered the same day. I called to confirm they offered local delivery service. They took the order over the phone and had the order delivered in no time. What great service, thank you!!!

This place should be called Monica’s Place of Healing because a perfectly baked scone(or chocolate chip cookie) is like medicine for a bad day. When work gets too stressful, come here, eat a cupcake and see if you don’t feel better! All of the food here feels like it’s made with love and the finest ingredients, and it’s served by a staff that is as sweet as the treats on offer. My FAVORITE things to eat here include: — The meatloaf sandwich, served warmed. The serving of meatloaf between their freshly baked bread is plentiful and filling, even for my husband who is a 2XL sort of dude. — The scones, iced or sugared. The espresso ones with chocolate chip are UH-MAY-ZING!!! — The iced shortbread cookies. The cookie that every other shortbread cookie you eat will be compared to. Needless to say, I love this place. I am so happy that it exists in our community!

Awesome place! We recently had a small wedding reception and ordered our cake and some cupcakes from Monica’s. Everything was absolutely delicious and our guests loved them! We had never tried the bakery before, we took a chance and it turned out amazing! Thank you so much!!! Will definitely come back for future cake needs!

I’ve been here many times over the years and have always been super happy and impressed with the quality and care of the food and drinks here. Everyone is always nice and the place is clean too. It’s my favorite café and a wonderful place to pick up food and bring to the Silverdale waterfront park across the street. This company and their employees really do provide with passion and pride. Thank you always!

their prices are expensive in their cooler of soda’s, juice, and chocolate milk and there isn’t any prices listed for those items and it costs more than what would have costed me for a espresso coffee also they sell big train and while they are very popular not everyone like’s a Big Train yet its their only option for a cold drink that is blended, they need smoothies, or milkshake, but i would not come here again esp since like i said their items doesn’t show any prices

Delicious pastries. Decent coffee. Great location as it is walking distance to both the library and the waterfront park. Parking is a little awkward.

What a cute little breakfast space! Stopped in with a friend on a weekday morning, and it wasn’t busy at all. We took our time deciding what to order — multiple choices of quiche, muffins, scones… and non-traditional breakfast items like pie and cookies! They also had some sandwiches for the day, but I was on «vacation», so I decided to do what all vacationers should do at a bakery. I ordered pie for breakfast. And coffee. Ok, I also ordered a scone, but that went into my purse for later. The peanut butter pie was rich and delicious, and the scone was perfect. My friend ordered one of the quiches(which surprisingly came with toast and fruit!) and a bear claw. She loved the quiche, and she didn’t get to finish the bear claw, so I got to take it home for later — score! It was absolutely delish, by the way. The service was super friendly, we felt like regulars, prices were fair and it was a nice relaxing breakfast!

Monica, it honestly pains me to say this: you have a service problem. You may not see it when you’re in the store, however you have a couple of employees that are rude, condescending, and quite frankly, embarrassing to be around. Having worked in the service industry, I completely understand how annoying customers can be. They can wear on you which makes it oh-so-easy to become cynical. It’s the human condition and I totally get it. That said, you either fake it with a smile, or you get out of the industry. This economy is too unstable to be playing games with precious customers. You may want to conduct some random audits. I really enjoy your products and I appreciate the ways in which you support the local business community. Please fix the glitches and I’ll be back. 5 stars for food. 1 star for service.
