I first was introduced to this center when I visited Washington DC for a conference. The late minister of the Vedanta Society of Hollywood was a family friend and recommended this place to me. I was rather impressed with the area. When I later moved to the DC area, I frequented there often when there was a function or visiting minister. I wish I had been there for the visiting minister from Russia! This place is rather cliquey, but has the spirit of service.
They also have a nice youth group, and several volunteer activities. I will say this Vedanta Center has a nice parking lot, which is more than I can say for some of the Vedanta Center in the US.
