Love their turkey club sandwich! Steak and cheese is pretty amazing too. Great quality food and good price.

Sandwiches are pretty awesome no matter what you order. Don’t forget to ask for your pickle! Pretty good beer and wine selection. Staff is very friendly and I always enjoy talking to then when I’m there.

Great, great subs and friendly, timely service. Try the chicken breast patty or reuben.

This is by far the best deli in the area. A must stop if your looking for lunch. Staff is friendly and the food is prepared in a clean professional environment. Prices are reasonable and there is a wide beverage selection if your looking for that also.

I love this deli! They always get my order right, and on time when I pick up during lunch. Helpful, friendly staff, and always generous with the toppings. I won’t eat roast beef anywhere else!

For a small beer and wine shop in a strip shopping center, this place has not just a good, but I think exceptional selection of beer and wine. I am a Belgian beer fan and they have all the usuals. Plus decent local and national small scale brews. But, as others have noted, this place has a really great sandwich deli. I love the Italian of course, but the pastrami, roast beef or corned beef sandwiches and subs are a superior product given the locale. I strongly question whether anyone has ever been shortchanged intentionally here. Everyone there is sweet, trustworthy and wouldn’t risk the reputation of this neighborhood favorite by stiffing a customer. Lastly, Ben, the owner, is a great supporter of local causes. If you have a problem with the cost of the products here, that’s a landlord issue. Whoever owns that shopping center apparently charges WAY over market, and leaves spaces vacant for years rather than renting to a business. I miss the fish market that was there for about a year. Did a great business, but the rent was too high. It’s been empty for over three years now in a shopping center surrounded by high income families, inside the Beltway. Seminary needs to charge a premium just to afford to stay here.

Sniders is next door, better, cheaper, and friendlier. They do not take Amex. If they are going to charge so much they should accept Amex.

The wine selection is average, as is the beer selection. The reason to stop here is the deli. They have some of the best cold sandwiches in the neighborhood. Woodside Deli across the street is very, very good, but I actually get subs from Beer, Wine, Deli more often. They’re just as good if you’re looking for a cold sub, and the price is much better. The cold cut combo with everything is the way to go, but the meatball is pretty decent as well. Don’t confuse this shop with another Beer, Wine, Deli about a mile south on Georgia.

Check your receipt carefully. Several times I’ve felt like my bill was strangly high, but they don’t provide an itemized receipt. So, today I finally asked for one, and they had doubled the tax. I complained, and the woman told me it was a problem with my credit card(which I use all the time with no problems), and I had to come back the next day to talk to the manager. I refused and finally she called her boss and gave me cash back. Having had other high bills there, I wonder if they do that routinely…

Seminary beer wine and deli is my go to… can quickly pick up a turkey sub and a bottle of wine… The deli is great — made to order subs. They also have a «special of the day.» Friendly workers, but a bit pricey. They have a good selection of wine but wouldnt stop in for any specialty beer — mostly have bud and corona products.

Obviously the main draw of this establishment is the alcohol, but their deli is actually pretty good. A friend and I came here the other day and we got some food and drink(non-alcoholic sadly). My buddy got a BLT and I got the tuna melt. The sandwiches are made to order, which is nice, and they taste pretty good. They won’t knock you off your feet but they work in a pinch. The cashier was very friendly and let my friend use his card even though they have a $ 10 minimum for cards(his total was only $ 8.50). If you happen to roll your own smokes, they also seem to sell loose rolling tobacco as well as filters. You can get almost all your sinnin’ done here, they just need a stripper pole and some lottery tickets.

I stopped by here the other night to pick up a 12-pack of Corona on the way to my friend’s birthday celebration. I knew exactly what I had to pick up, so made a beeline to the fridge in the back where the cold beers were stored. While I was back there, I also took some money out of the ATM. Very convenient. The men that rang me up were very nice and chatted me up about my name. They weren’t flirting — just being nice. I say goodbye and went on my way. About five-steps away from the store, the handle on the case gave out and I dropped the entire box. Every bottle in there broke and erupted all over the sidewalk. Party foul for me, and the party hadn’t even started. I was fully ready to go back in there and pay for a new case because it was my own stupidity to not be extra careful and hold the case with two hand. However, the manager there was so nice and told for me to go ahead, pick up another case … and even had their security guy carry it out to my car for me. Such a nice gesture! For that gesture alone, I will come back here again in the future. Oh and they carried Delirium Tremens! Gotta come back and pick some of that up for Kevin L!
