Huge delicious crabs! Perfect seasoning. Only complaint is that the last crab in the bag was a little… funky: /​despite that I will definitely return for their crabs. Yummmm!

We just polished off our ½ bushel and they were delicious! We got the large male and they were very meaty. The Old Bay was off the chain. We will definitely get crabs from there. again

Order a dozen large crabs from CK Seafood and they were wonderful. Looking forward to my next order of crabs from CK Seafood.

CK Seafood rocks! I have been getting crabs from CK’s for 2 years and have never had a bad crab. I always buy XL or XL and Jumbo mixed and my guests are always blown away. Keep up the good work, I look forward to many more great crab feasts with your crabs.

Decided to give this place a try for steamed Maryland crabs. Paid about $ 80 for xl males dozen. Didn’t think it was xl, more of a large. But more importantly, didn’t have the freshness as other places. I may give it one more try but disappointed with first order.

Very fresh, very tasty crabs that were affordable!

I visited the carryout restaurant for crab cake dinners. The crab cakes were supposed to be pure lump crab cakes They were very large crab cakes, However they were breaded with fillers, it took away from the meal. We wanted pure meat lump meat crab cakes, with No Fillers, and no breaded fillers inside of the crab.cakes.

A no nonsense husband wife team providing fresh crab daily. Definitely a take out place although their is a table or two inside. Comparing this place to other crab places in Maryland the prices at ck can not be beat. Ordered 6 xl steamed crab, a seafood combo, and a lunch box fried scallop all for $ 58 dollars. The crab steamed with old bay was great, classic Maryland blue crab. The fried seafood was good as well, although, I would prefer a beer batter. If, I lived here this would be my go to spot for takeout!

Crabs there are superb! In the College Park area, it is quite difficult to find a good seafood store. This store is definitely a gem!

Food: Meaty, flaky crabs (not old and mushy like some other places give you), exactly the size you order (no shiesty-​ness giving you tiny ones if you ordered larger), seasoned perfectly, and steamed perfectly. As a life-​long Marylander, I have particularly high standards for crabs, and this place has never done me wrong. Occasionally I’ll try another place but the competitive pricing coupled with the sheer quality of the crabs here just keeps me coming back.
Service: The owner is a nice older Asian man and while he does speak English, it is not his first language, so it may be a bit difficult to understand what he’s saying. That being said, he has always been gracious, even if I come just before closing time (I know, I’m the worst) or have a ton of questions, which he is happy to answer. He has personal relationships with his crab distributors and really knows his stuff on when crabs are best, where they come from, what the crab outlook is for the season, etc etc. He clearly prides himself on the quality of his product, and it really shows.
Storefront: Carry out only. It’s plain and there are a few tables and chairs for you to wait at, but the front pretty much doubles as a storage area for the owner.

Ordered two dozen X-​Large crabs and a pound of steamed spice shrimp to go. XL crabs were $ 65 a dozen which is $ 20 less than I could get them for a month ago.
These were the biggest, meatiest crabs I have ever had and the shrimp were steamed to perfection.
I called in my order that morning and it was ready when I walked in the door at the designated time.
They have a nice little operation here and I believe they’re the only place to get crabs to go in this part of the county.

Summary: Some of the best crabs I have ever tasted until further notice.
Disclaimer: A friend of mine ordered a dozen jumbo crabs for take out so I am only reviewing the quality of the food.
Consider the scenario: the sky pouring rain and scattering thunderstorms, the sidewalks are flooded and a trip to the park with close friends is canceled. My friends and I decided to order the crabs and eat them over at my house instead.
As a Marylander I ate many crabs from various places around the state. I don’t know if I lucked out. I don’t know the restaurant was being nice. All I know is that the jumbo crabs were some of the best I have ever tasted. There was no special ingredient or unique flavoring that was added; just the right amount of Old Bay seasoning on the crab. The moment I opened and ate the crabmeat, I forgotten all about the butter, and I am glad I’ve forgotten because the butter would only trivialize the already savory flavor of the meat.
The crabs were the highlight of that day and they made the rest of the day very enjoyable for me and my friends.
I’ve only tried CK’s crab once. If I go back again I will see if they really do deserve the 5 star rating.

Called and picked up 2 dozen jumbo male crabs and a pound of spiced shrimp when my daughter visited last week and we had an awesome meal! I will be back in early September for another order when more guests arrive. These were the most delicious crabs we have found all summer and their large size ended up providing enough food for the next night also.

Why have I never heard of this place until this weekend! CoWorker told me about this place and seeing how it’s like 10 mins from my house, decided to give it a try today. I will be back! Got 1 dozen female, 1 dozen male, sooo good! Very meaty and some of the females had eggs in them. Will definitely be back!!!

Number one crab! Big big big!!! Full of meat! Crab are fresh! All good crab! I know this season is over for crab egg but still some had it! Amazing, I love it!

Awesome family owned business. Always fair pricing. Not a dine in place. Carry the crabs out and take them home. I usually get a dozen jumbo and they are delicious! Always meaty. Prices vary since he makes his price after hearing from his fisherman. A dozen jumbo can be anywhere from $ 50 – 100. So again, it varies! You will not be disappointed! !!

it was ok. i ordered the seafood combo. 2 scallops (tiny baby ones and breading fell off), 2 shrimp, 2 pieces of fish, tiny serving of coleslaw, and fries. the whole thing needed seasoning. some salt, pepper, something. Anything. I have had much better seafood before. though the price is good, it isn’t worth it at all. Save your time and drive to a different location. I guess the crabs were better, but those who came in that day complained as the Large Crabs were tiny. maybe it’s the closest place for folks, but nah… not again.

Excellent location to grab fresh or cooked crabs (seasoned with old bay) to go! We called ahead the night before to grab a dozen large and a dozen x-​large crabs for lunch the next day. They were packed and ready to go just as promised. If you don’t feel like driving the hour+ to Annapolis or to Maryland’s eastern shore and you live in the northern Silver Spring area, this is your go-​to place. It’s located in the strip mall with Pizza Hut and Phở Real. They also have a menu for lunch (including sandwiches) but I didn’t try any so I can’t comment.

Got 2 dozen medium/​smalls for $ 40? I think, might have been too much though, and maybe we should have gotten just 1 dozen large for $ 35. Crabs were steamed perfectly with old bay and tons of salt and delicious, surprising from a bare bones storefront run by a nice Chinese lady and man. We only had one bad one out of the bunch, but I think this is going to be my go to place whenever I get a crab hankering instead of driving out to Ocean City for AYCE crabs! Call to order ahead, he’ll have the crabs ready for you by the time you get here if it’s a reasonable estimate :)
