Love the owner, he looks really tough and mean but when you become a regular he is really nice to you and will remember you.
They don’t have as big a selection as most beer and wine stores because they are a small business, but what they do have is probably enough. I have never looked for a certain brand of wine or beer and not found it. Well, other than Belgian imports but thats another story :/

I spent about five minutes here this afternoon looking for a bottle of wine, and I was surprised by how many sweaty people dropped in for a cold one after working out at Fitness First next door. I guess it’s better than having a Krispy Kreme next door, isn’t it? Is it?
Anyway, this store is pretty tiny, but they’ve always got what I need. Marsala wine on days that I’m cooking my signature chicken dish and a pretty good selection of refrigerated stuff. They’re Korean owned — more reason for me to support the business — though I’m not a huge fan of the $ 10 minimum for credit card purchases.
Am I really the only one that Unilocal in my neighborhood?
