We stopped in for a late lunch after a friend raved about Mi Casita. It was about 20 minutes before closing. The waitress took our order, and in a very short time, brought our meals out… way too short to have been individually cooked. The food was greasy and seemed like it was reheated. Then there was a sense of feeling rushed while we were eating. It shouldn’t matter if a customer comes in two minutes before closing… if a restaurant allows a customer to walk in the door, then the experience should be the same as if they walked in at any other time. Not a good experience.

It’s a restaurant that serves a decent meal with a standard level of service it’s reasonably priced and if your hungry it’s a good option for a basic meal that will come quickly and won’t break you bank account. If your looking for a wow experience this is not the place.

Came to silver city for a golf tournament and stopped here for some grub! Their chicken gorditas were to die for! Great service, fast and very polite!

Simply KICK ASS NEW MEXICAN FOOD! I could have eaten the green chile with a spoon it was so good and the red was yummy also. Had the Huevos & Combo Plate — both were super delicious. Only open for lunch & maybe Friday evenings — it is also on a kind of hidden street — go try it as soon as you can! And the sopapillas were so so good, hot & not at all greasy — YUM YUM!!!
